No, we are glad to be out of that mess. So true. The military industrial complex would love to make money off more war, and the Taliban is such a blatant & obvious target as the bad guys that it seems like an easy sale. The last couple of years have been such a mess that the public isn't ready for it, but just watch how we'll have outrage over Afghanistan blanketing news coverage for the next several months until someone goes back. |

Consider this: even if we managed to go to space, zero gravity wrecks our bone structure, space radiation wrecks our immune system AND women that have gone to space for an extended period of time have came back to earth STERILE because of the radiation constantly berating their bodies while they are not protected by Earth's atmosphere. Our future is pretty fucking bleak no matter HOW you look at it. Yep. Expanding out into other worlds & the galaxy at large is just a fantasy. |
