I ended up really disliking Super Mario Kart after revisiting it on the Wii U Virtual Console and wanting to beat it. It wasn't just the handling of the karts, it was the CPU itself. Of all the Mario Kart games I've played, I've never seen as much blatant cheating as I have here. Not just the arbitrarily exclusive attacks, it's that they flatout ignore the terrain, too.

I'm not saying the detailed maps and invincibility power-ups are the same. I'm saying 'because Nintendo added it' isn't a good reason for why something is an improvement or not. I DO like the maps and think they are an improvement, but not because Nintendo added it. It's the same argument I see in favor of durability in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom

While I don't think Super Metroid is literally perfect, this isn't a very good metric imo. It's like saying Super Mario Bros 3 is flawed because the NSMB games give you an invincible power-up if you die too much or straight up ask if you want the level beaten for you while SMB3 doesn't. Not every QoL feature added is an objective improvement just because Nintendo adds it. While I appreciate the more detailed maps in later games, I don't think it makes Super Metroid's maps flawed

I got a free pair of Galaxy 2 earbuds.

Tried them out, but found them fiddly to put in (if you don't get the seal right, they sound shit) and uncomfortable to wear after 30 minutes max. Yes, I tried all the fittings.

Gave them away. Headphones for me.

Same exact thing happened to me and I ended up giving my Buds2 away. The Galaxy Buds3 (standard, not pro) is more comfortable and stays in my ears regardless of what I'm doing, so hopefully they'd be a better fit for you too

But only the ones that look like the pair on the right. The pair on the left would fall out of my ears constantly
