There is a part in the book where it talks about various previous disasters and atrocities that happened in Derry. It's probably a whole show detailing one of those incidents

I have only seen the anime up to the end of that arc about the gang of fish people. I think the leader was named Arlong. Pretty sure it was less than 100 episodes in. I imagine Luffy grows a lot from there to modern day. Could Luffy handle Goku in a fight?

I haven't seen 3 yet. But the bedroom kill in 2 was the worst one for me. I felt so bad for that victim. But it seems like Art will be definitively defeated, so I'll keep watching to see that. The main character introduced in 2 is destined to destroy him

I either stopped the show before this episode or I didn't realize who he was. Wouldn't be the first time. I did not know who he was when he cameoed in Iron Man 2. And when that one British singer cameoed on Game of Thrones, I had no idea he was a celebrity till the internet told me.

I read the doom novels in Jr high as well. Though I think I didn't get the last one. I remember there being 4, and I think I only got my hands on the first 3.

Not sure on the disc thing, but I believe there is a time limit. I know there is one on 2. I think if you don't make progress in the story for a while, you get a game over. Or there might be a specific game over date and you have to complete the game before then.
