So I actually peaked in the deck builder and realized I had a mildly hefty stockpile of UR gems from when I last played. Fuck it. <_<

Updated my PendMages with some of the newer Z-Arc stuff. Made Dracoslayers. Gambled a few 10-pulls on the Ritual Beast deck and got enough that i could build it. I used to be pretty good with RBs but learning these new combos without the physical cards is tough. >_>

And that's everything I think I care about, back to hoarding. Do we know of anything big on the horizon I should be saving gems for?

Not sure it counts, but I only learned about Yoshiko Sai because the algorithm pushed her with other City Pop stuff.

Kingohger was a peak season and definitely worth watching if you're into that kinda thing.

Though if you do watch it, try to watch its movie, "Adventure Heaven", sometime around episode 23-ish. (Which is when it takes place) The Sentai movies are usually just fun extra stuff you can skip, but in this case it actually is mildly important to a sub-plot in the last arc. Not enough to ruin anything, but enough that you'll be asking "who the hell are these people and since when was *that* in play?" when it gets there >_>

Power Rangers can't get much deader than it already is, but my sympathies to fans of any of these other franchises >_>

Against my better judgment I re-installed Master Duel.

Duel Trial is really great. I got into "modern"( as in, post-DM/GX) Yugioh right around this time. The friend who helped get me into it ran Heroes, and the loaner deck is really similar to what he used to run. Super nostalgic so if nothing else I'm glad I logged back in.

Also noticed the Ritual Beast pack is gone in a week. Shame, I love RitBeasts but I'm not gonna stress myself out trying to grind for a usable deck in that time frame. I'll just chill for now lest this game take over my life again >_>

Tbh I'm a sucker for those weird chest/shoulder armor pieces in pretty much any design. I can only assume the big empty circles are going to have something on them at some point.

It's only as problematic as you make it. Functionally it's not dissimilar from any other harvest celebration seen in other countries. I don't personally even remember the pilgrim myth being talked about much at all past Elementary school. Everyone just treated it as an excuse for the family to get together and eat a fuckton of turkey and sweet potatoes. >_> Oh and all the men would watch that boring-as-all-hell football game in the living room.

That said the myth is dumb so I'll support challenging it for as long as it's pushed.

This is me every time I start an SRPG. FFT, Fire Emblem, Shining Force, whatever. It's really cool for a few hours and then I just sort of stop and lose all motivation to pick it back up. >_>

Nothing really jumps out at me this time. Might just grab Psychonauts since I heard it was an overlooked classic and it's only 2 bucks, idk when I'd get around to playing it though.

The Sonic/Shadow is already 25% off but I'm not in a hurry for that either and I know it'll get a deeper discount within a year. >_>
