No because Charizard can't learn Fly in Red and I never grinded enough to get to Fire Spin. (I did learn it once during one playthrough where I kept Charmander the whole way lol)

No, unfortunately. CPU only uses the decks already assigned to it, and you can only turn off ban-lists in Duel Rooms.

There is a mod out there that will let you ignore banlists in single player, but I've never used it and some of its other functions are unethical enough that I wouldn't feel safe using it. >_>

Because I'm a masochist I took PendMages to the 30-second trial. Lost a lot to the timer until I got a hang of what I could realistically do. >_>

Did eventually win 3 matches. One was a Secret Village FTK against Tenpai. Another was summoning Z-Arc via trap to boar wipe a Blue-eyes player on their turn. Last was against an Aromatherapy player. Idk what Aromatherapy does but Vortex negated their synchro and they conceded.

Pack gave me a Trickstar UR that I dusted. Nice. >_>

Made too many misplays and probably could've recovered if I drew literally any pendulum monster on turn 3 to go into Beyond, but I drew nothing and didn't deserve to win that game anyway lol

As far as 3 is concerned I don't particularly care for Marble Garden or Carnival Night. Doing those back to back is a bit of a drag. I also don't really care for Sonic's sprite.

&K is almost all peak. Mushroom Hill might be my favorite single zone in the entire trilogy. Between it and 2 it's really close, but 2s soundtrack just narrowly puts it on top.

Caped Crusader was just last year and had sissy-hypno Harley Quinn with a henchman who was a congressman dressed as a giant baby. There's plenty of silly stuff in modern Batman media.

What killed the silly stuff *in the movies* was Schumacher's flicks. The tone of the Nolan films was most likely a deliberate choice to avoid any of the stigma attached to Nipple Force Batman >_>

Honestly the only level I truly hate (enough that I've remembered that hatred for 20 years) is the ARK flashback level where you're with Maria. So I'm getting those routes out of the way first lol

I still hate that level less than SA2's Mad Space or Heroe's Bingo Highway, though

I like most of the stages. I like the weapons. I like the CYOA gimmick. I don't like Vector's voice change.

I like the cringey melodramatic story. Game opens up with Shadow just chilling. He sees a portal to hell open up as an army of demons sack Westolis and his immediate reaction is "Sucks to be them." Every stage is Black Doom or Sonic's friends saying "hey do this thing please" and Shadow telling them to fuck off. It's great. >_>

Even Gen Alpha knows what VHS tapes are because millennials and Gen x never shut up about them >_>

Saw this recently and enjoyed it.

Only real gripe is that the last act was too silly. That's the fashion these days but I do wish the humor could at least be subtle during a "cataclysmic event".>_> Tonal whiplash to watch clash of the Saiyans transition to the Robotniks flailing around like morons <_< (Especially since, imo, the humor and drama was actually really well paced up until then)

Was also pleasantly surprised to see Jim Carrey bust out the serious acting for some of Gerald's scenes. Overall they handled the project Shadow stuff very well and I think I liked it even better than the game's story.

Maybe I'm just uncultured but all of the main Kirby games feel kinda samey with the exception of like, Epic Yarn.

Like you'd think at least the Gameboy original would feel completely alien considering how iconic the powers have become but no, it feels exactly like a modern Kirby game if you were doing a "challenge" run lol

I've been running into a lot of Adventure Dragoon Turbo for some reason. Like not even a pile, i check their deck afterwards and just...gryphon/dragoon pass is their entire gameplan. I know Dragoon is popular but it seems like such an odd choice of build to be running. <_<

Trying go get my proficiency test level high enough to clear the "win with <2000 life points" mission before the event is over.

For level 14 I used Mayakashi and True Draco to clear the Link, Synhro, and Tribute missions.

On 15 now and just finished banishing 100 of my opponent's cards with Banquet of Millions lol. Oh...and had one funny duel with a Red Eyes player who went into Verte after I activated Inferno Tempest. >_>

I think Joey's deck is capable of beating Kaiba's. I'm less confident that Joey could win. He takes too long to get serious and will make poor/short-sighted moves early on that will give Kaiba too much momentum to overcome.

Made a terrible kaiju deck to grind the "destroy opponent's monsters by battle" stage of the Proficiency test

Learned that technically speaking, the last monster you attack during a duel is not destroyed. Which...I get it, that's how the damage step works, but it's still bullshit >_>

It wasn't a mistake. They created a franchise empire worth more money than god and dethroned James Cameron from the highest grossing movie records.

Nothing is infinitely sustainable though. MCU will likely never make Endgame money again, but that doesn't mean it's not profitable enough to keep going.

That all out of the way though I agree. I don't really care for how intertwined these "universes" are. When every project is a team-up of sorts, it makes the title character feel diluted.

Maxx C *should* be banned soon but I'd be surprised if it was. It's one of the most played cards and banning it right away gives almost every player 90 UR mats to spend on its replacement, the Mulcharmy.

I think it's gonna get trickle-banned, going from 2, to 1, to 0, over 6 or more months. But I'd love to be wrong. >_>

Played a bit today. Opened the biggest brick hand with Chimera, but the opponent was playing Ursarctic. I still almost lost lol.

Beat a Tear player with my PendMage deck after going Bagooska/pass under Maxx C. Though I kinda bluffed my win. Stayed alive until turn 5, I was sitting on nothing but Vortex, dead scales and no Pendulums in my extra deck. Last card in hand was Foolish Burial, which I activated despite not having any more useful targets in the deck. They scooped lol.

Bullet is hands down the best. The 2005 version is good too. I don't hate 2012.

Movie Snape was basically just a curmudgeony hard-ass. Most of his egregious shit was glossed over or cut from the films. Rickman was also a lot more composed and dignified in his portrayal compared to the book version. Like the way Gambon gets memed for his Goblet line, Rickman was basically the opposite for Snape <_<
