No other fast food place offers a burger and fry combo without throwing a drink at you. As someone who doesn't drink soda (aside from cocktail mixers), it's a huge perk. I don't like paying for things I don't want. Unfortunately, at every other fast food place, if I order a burger and fry completely separate, the price is usually just as much as getting the burger and fry combo meal (which comes with a drink). And getting a drink is nuts anyways IMO given the actual soda/syrup costs less than the cup it's put in. But that's a digression.

Exactly this. Never get a drink at a fast food place. It ups your bill by 2-3 dollars and it's mostly ice anyway

Yeah probably this. But red lobster is pretty terrible. Hard to pick. There are so many shit chains. Chili's, taco bell, McDonald's, firehouse, panda express... the list goes on. Hardee's is actually pretty decent as far as fast food burger chains go

That manager is a dumbass. Their burgers are better than almost any other burger chain and people always exaggerate the price difference. Most of the toppings are free to add on and I've definitely eaten at burger chains with comparable pricing and five guys mops the floor with them. Hell a McDonald's meal is more than 10 bucks now and I can grt a five guys combo for like 12 or 13 bucks

If you have PTO and don't use it then that to me is really dumb. Use all your PTO or else you're working for free... Unless you work for a company that will pay you extra for PTO you don't use which is pretty rare

Actually the co worker that I manage that's annoying as shit is always trying to brag to everyone about how he doesn't use his PTO like it shows he's better. The thing is he does the least work of anyone. He just has no life outside of work and he probably is scared we'll realize how useless he is if he stays gone for any length of time. Little does he know everyone already realizes it

Was your coworker the dude? My co workers would call us out so fast if someone was doing some shit like that. But I have noticed office culture is normally very passive aggressive and drama fueled. I think it's because a lot of office jobs aren't real jobs and people are so bored with an enormous amount of chill time that they have to manufacture drama

I've got one pretty annoying co worker. I'm technically his manager, but a lot of the time when I make a simple request of him he has to turn it into something way more complicated, often times trying to drag his coworkers through the mud.

But he's been with the company for years and he's in his 60s so I try to be patient with him even though I probably should write him up

Yeah I thought atlanta traffic was bad until my band went through LA. I swear we were in rural area way outside the city and still stuck in dead stop traffic. Atlanta can be like that too but it definitely was awful

Neighbors don't bother me that much. Mine are just this quiet, retired old couple. Nobody that close on the other side of me though. I don't mind noise/partying. I sleep heavy and I'm not a grouch when it comes to people having a good time, within reason of course

Vancouver is the furthest for me. I know there is some beautiful scenery outside the city there but im in a touring band and we were playing a show there... it was the worst place I've ever been. Drugs addicts just roaming the street everywhere and openly smoking crack on the sidewalk. I still had a good time. Went to some vegan pizza place and the bar next to the venue was tight

Lol no, pretty much the complete opposite in my experience. I live in the south and it's pretty commonplace for folks to try and change their accent because they don't want to be seen as a "hick"

Steven adler is actually pretty good but as they say... average bands with a great drummer sound great... great bands with an average drummer sound average. At the end of the day, your band is only as good as your drummer

At the end of the day who cares really? Every member of GnR is obscenely overrated in regard to their technical ability. Slash is an average guitarist who is treated like some kind of guitar god. Axl rose is a complete hack like many of the singers of that era. Duff mckagan is nothing special. Steven adler is the best member but still nothing amazing

100% much of the inflation is artifical due to corporate greed. Mainly they just left these jacked up prices in place when it isn't actually necessary anymore for the most part
