There's unfortunately not a good 1:1 comparison here because Premier League games are mainly played on weekend mornings, and MLB games at weeknights. Liga MX games are broadcast exclusively in Spanish, and the World Cup only happens every other year (including the women). I don't think soccer has surpassed baseball in popularity, but it is worth noting that the 2022 World Cup had multiple games draw more US viewers than any baseball game since before the pandemic. The viewership numbers of the 2026 WC, which will be held mostly in the US, are likely to be a lot higher.

Yes; there's a dedicated mode that prevents it called ironman, so if you're not playing that, you're expected to be saving and loading a lot. Which, gotta say, a lot less time consuming on the Series X!

I don't think this is true. The NHL is the 4th most popular league, but soccer has more viewers and a lot more participation than hockey overall.
