Realistically, there's a few ways they could go.

1) They do have to fight an evil wizard/Herobrine like you said, and that incorporates the Ender Dragon (which I will say, if they do bed spam defeat of the dragon in the movie, 10/10, no notes)

2) They go a similar route of having them have to leave, with them having to find an End Portal and getting the eyes of Ender necessary to escape after the first portal is blown up by a Creeper.

So like...this is just the remake of Jumanji all over again? A group of randoms dragged into a video game world and having to survive?

I mean, I know Minecraft doesn't have a huge story to begin with, but you could've easily done something with the Wither, the Ender Dragon, or even Herobrine without it being connected to the real world.

I've been looking at moving mostly because my partner is there.

And let me tell you...it's rough right now. Like, housing prices are easily 50% higher where we'd need to move than where I am now, and salary does not compensate. Along with that, there's a whole other list of issues like getting a job, finding a place, getting your paperwork in order.

Trust me, I considered it years ago, but wasn't in a good financial spot. Now that I am in a good financial spot, it's still not enough, even with having the money saved for expedited work.

Yeah, the way it's reading screams "shill for product" more than them actually supporting AI.

But honestly, calling the very valid concerns about AI in a creative setting "Ableist and classist" is so narrowminded and dumb that I feel they deserve to be called out about it. I've heard the whole "art and writing should be for everyone and AI makes that happen." thing, but like...why should it be the only career path that everyone should be able to do? Especially when generative AI has to be trained on the work of real people?

Abortion Rights and weed are surprisingly purple rights. They get interest from both sides. Though admittedly i think there is a chunk of this state that's sick and tired of the right after the debacle with the congressional map redrawinf.

I sympathize and hate what's happening in Palestine. If there was a candidate that was pro Palestine I'd consider them. But there's one that's slightly less pro Israel than the other, so this is a wash.

So what else can I look at?

I can look at my trans partner of 5 years who's very existence will be classified as "pornographic" if the GOP gets elected.

I can look at the fact that if Trump is in office, Alito and Thomas will do what RGB didn't and retire, allowing the Republicans to have an unstoppable majority on the Supreme Court for the rest of our lives (barring a packing the courts but good luck).

I can look at the degradation of our foreign relations with staunch allies and the cozying up to dictators.

This is why while I sympathize with the cause, I will not condone or stay silent about anyone who tries to hold their vote away from Kamala for a single issue no matter how personal it is. Because to toss out the good with the bad to allow something far worse to take its place is shortsighted to your entire cause, when the other side has said in no uncertain terms he believes protests like the Pro-Palenstine protests and sit ins should be disallowed.

Because frankly at this point he looks awful, and it's only emphasized more when you look at Kamala these days.

When Biden was the other candidate, Trump still looked at least relatively young and had more energy than most of Biden's speeches. But now if you look at Trump, his energy, visage, and everything is just radiating old energy, which was one of the major Republican talking points. Harris is youthful, energetic, positive, and brings an energy that Trump hasn't brought since like 2016.

Am I insulting Trump for being old and looking bad? Hell no, we all are going to end up there at one point in our life probably, though I have a feeling his diet and the stress he's under doesn't help the issue. But this election is not just about policy, it's about optics, and Trump has lost pretty much all the optics he had going into this stretch.

As I said, I don't know, and I'm a little too sleep deprived at this point to do research until later. I'm just saying that if she's trying to get onto all 50 states, the Dems trying to DQ her from a swing state is shady. On the flip side, if Stein is only putting in to be on the WI ballot, it's shady in its own right.

The only time I'd consider it shady is if you can prove that she was trying to put herself on all 50 state ballots. If she is solely trying to get onto WI, it suddenly looks pretty suspicious that the only place she's looking to appear is in a major swing state.

I'm going to need to see the exact speech and focus on Israel, but if she truly did just say "Israel is our ally but the needless deaths of Palestinians needs to stop" I...can't find a lot objectionable with that? No politician can take a 100% anti-Israel stance currently in the country.

Just watched a couple of videos of her. She's a liberal zionist but has also spoken on the urgency of getting a ceasefire done to stop the killing in Gaza.

So I mean, correct me if I'm wrong but...isn't this sorta the entirety of Kamala as well? People are freaking out about Dearborn but this sounds exactly how Kamala has spoken; supportive of Israel but stressing the need for a ceasefire.

If you have to 100% them, I'm honestly not sure it's possible unless you play almost 24/7, since some of the side activities like Pocket Racer take quite a bit of grinding to complete.

With a guide you could complete Pocket Circuit in probably a day or 2. 100% would definitely be pushing it though. Assuming 8 hours a day like a normal job you're looking at 240 hours total and most of the games are 60 hours to 100%/platinum.

Like others said, if it's any% you probably can finish in a week, one game a day. Just slap it on easy mode and skip cutscenes.

If he's polling below 50% in Ohio of all places holy he'll he's in trouble. Ohio is about as heavy red as possible these days outside of the major cities.

Trump will be there until he's literally unable to move or campaign, and even then I think 30% of the party will still write him in for primaries.

I would've said DeSantis but he took his shot and failed miserably. The younger Trumps might give it a go but I don't think either of them have his charisma.

Based on what I'm reading about this (I can't stand to listen to Trump these days)...I don't know if it's working.

National polls and Popular votes mean nothing in the system we have, as stupid as the system is at it's core. The focus should be on the swing states, where currently 538 has pretty much all of them as a coin toss. Except Michigan which seems to be creeping closer to a Harris victory, and I'm not sure if these are taking Walz into account.

The fact that it's even this close is abysmal though.

The closest thing I've seen on this guy is a DUI from 30 years ago. That's about it they seem to have on him.

I am...afraid to have hope regarding the American people, but at least I feel something that is akin to hope and optimism. With Biden I just felt we were marching a slow descent into Trump again. Now at least I feel like the energy and the fire is there to actually have a chance.

Honestly just the little bit of Walz I've seen so far, and the pure fire that this guy has is insane.

As I wake up this morning, it's weird. I don't want to be a doomer but looking online, it really does feel like a ton of momentum will be lost at this point if Shapiro is the pick.

For what it's worth, the report is that this is his normal retinue for movements like this.

There is one other potential hiccup in that there was a site found that basically showcased Kamala/Walz as the team, only to immediately go password protected after it started to leak. It all seemed pretty legit overall and didn't seem like something people would make as a joke so...if that's the case, and it's all set up to basically release as is...

Honestly they'd have less of a ground to kick Vance since they did the RNC already compared to the Dems swapping to nominating Kamala.

I know people want to say polls are inaccurate, but honestly, even with a little bit of inaccuracy...the results are showing an unprecedented blowout against Biden, which if the Electoral College vote is that overwhelming is going to basically give the Republicans carte blanche to put through anything they may want.

I have a feeling November is going to be a very, very sad month, and the next 4+ years are going to be a wake up call. Shame we probably won't be able to wake up.

Honestly, ignoring the Democratic levels (I think that a majority of that 2/3rds would still vote blue no matter who), the Independent vote is the real damning number. The idea that less than 1/5 Independents wants you to be the nominee is a death knell for your chances.

He could certainly try, which would then get into a full quagmire of 1st Amendment rights issues, freedom of business, etc. Which then probably goes to the Supreme Court.

But I will say...honestly, if there's one thing that I think would cause legit riots, as sad as it is, it'd be pornography getting outlawed. That is one aspect that both sides actually seem to agree outside the hardcore evangelicals.

If this report is true regarding Newsome and Whitmer not wanting to be put forward as a running mate, that's disappointing. My guess is both of them are more keen on sitting this one out and trying to make a 2028 run, but Whitmer would make a fantastic VP selection to try and bolster the chances in Michigan.

For what it's worth, I'm seeing comments from writers on The Hill (don't know how credible they are) detailing very similar ideas of him dropping out shortly after the RNC convention...well okay, they say he's making a "major announcement" but let's be real, the only announcement that would actually spark something like this is him dropping out of the race.

All I'm going to say is...whoever the Dems put forward better win, and they better get behind them 100%. If the polls show whoever they put up doing worse than Biden, I am going to laugh and then be horribly sad.

The Cold War never ended, it just had a brief respite. It will never end as long as Russia has goals of being the global superpower. Same thing currently with China.

At this point I have depressingly accepted a Trump victory. People are too short sighted about stuff and the Trump lunacy is not fresh enough in people's minds. When the time comes around and he's back in office...well we shall see what happens, but it won't be pretty.
