Also, I do agree that this is definitely an "experience in theaters" movie. There are some really cool scenes in this movie (when they are running from the alpha across the partially flooded land bridge, and of course, when the boy climbs the skull tower) and they were enhanced a lot by watching it in theaters on the big screen.

Word of caution, similar to the first 28 days later movie, there is quite a bit of full-frontal nudity in this film. I guess the zombies' clothes have all disintegrated after running around for 28 years. So just be prepared for that. And if you go with your lady friend, make sure to remind her that they are all wearing prosthetics and it is not an accurate representation of average size, at least when it comes to Samson, lol

Possibly the most confusing ending for any movie ever made. The entire movie is this dour, sad affair, and then the ending has rock and roll ninja flipping nunchuck priests wearing tracksuits decapitate zombies with hockey sticks.

It was definitely a jarring ending. There are some great videos on Youtube explaining the ending in some detail for it to at least make a bit more sense, as well as a lot of the themes throughout the movie and UK culture references that I missed. The movie is just packed with artistic and thematic elements. Definitely moreso than your average zombie horror flick.

Did anyone see this movie in theaters? I went to see it while on my vacation the other night and was a little shocked. Definitely not what I was expecting given the prior two movies' history. It's also left on a massively awkward cliffhanger, which makes sense since they have a second movie, already in postproduction, scheduled for release in 2026 with a third movie in the works. This looks to be a trilogy based in the "28 days later" universe, but presented in a much different tone. More thematic. Less typical zombie movie fare. It's got quite divided review. People either loved it or hated it. I think I'm in the loved it camp? Weird movie, but I kinda want to see the next one when it comes out.

Brewers sweep the Twins. Went to the game on Sunday as well. Good times all around. It's nice to see the Brewers starting to look good again. Hopefully it lasts!

1. Misiorowski - Most consecutive no-hit innings (11) to start their career
2. Misiorowski - Only pitcher to have more wins (2) than hits (1) in first two starts
3. Yelich - most RBIs in a single game without scoring a run (8). The previous MLB record was 7, which happened 3 times.

The fact that they broke an MLB pitching and hitting record in the same game is crazy.

Holy cow, what a game to attend. Mizorowski makes history by pitching 11 consecutive no-hit innings to start his MLB career, an MLB record. He was perfect thru the first 6 innings in today's game. Then Yelich hits 8 RBIs, a career high for him and ties the Brewers franchise record.

This was also my first ever road game I attended where my team was the visiting team. What a night!
