oh my gosh, The Miz is an All-Star....after only 5 career starts? That's officially the shortest amount of starts to earn an All-Star nod behind Skenes 11 starts. Even as a Brewer fan, that's kind of crazy and probably undeserving, but he's the new hot flamethrower and I guess they want to showcase him on the all-star stage.

Also, congrats to former White Sox first basemen Andrew Vaughn, who just got an RBI in each of his first four games as a Brewer, which is a franchise record.

The one that stood out to me was Lulu's random last champ standing (10th place) the year Tidus won.

Obviously, older Champs have an advantage since they've had more chances to be last standing. And arguably, the more latter last standings carry more weight because it's a lot more Champs to compete with than the early contests.

The data would seem to suggest that Cecil or Vivi would have the best chance to repeat, or threepeat.

In other news, thanks to the Mets being swept in a doubleheader, Brewers are the top Wild Card at the moment. Go figure. From 21-25 to 53-40, they've been on a 32-15 run.

holy cow, they lost that one? I'll take the blame. When I saw the no-hitter alert, I tuned in and he immediately gave up a single. Which is always my luck with those things. Then tuned out and went about my business. Did not expect them to lose that one though, yikes.
