Ryza 2 isn't open world. At least I don't consider it to be. There are a few optional areas, but most of the story is "go to these ruins"

I couldn't really play Yumia very well since the exploration gave me a headache. If you thought Ryza 2 is open world then you really wouldn't like Yumia.

I think Ryza 2 is better than Ryza 1, but Sophie 2 is probably the best of the series.
