I dunno if I'd consider it a mental illness on my part, but I absolutely hate being around other people/working jobs where I have to work with other people.

I was unemployed for two years and had the cushion to support that decision, I was actually enjoying it. I think if I had a stay-at-home job I'd be in bliss.

I didn't think another Civil War would happen as soon as this month/week, but it looks like it will.

It also brings the thought that if lived experiences and emotions are real, does it even matter that their lives and professions were fabricated? Sure, outside the game they may have been total assholes, but after their memories are wiped...I'm sure that what they experience is still real to them. It's still anger and suffering, feelings of love, feelings of camaraderie that they experience.

Knowing that, that they weren't knowingly just playing a game, I don't think it invalidates the emotional beats at all.

The DR2 game itself never said that nobody died, that's a DR3 anime bullshit retcon. The game said that the ones who died were essentially vegetables and couldn't be recovered.

The lack of comments is because it got labeled as For Kids. I know for sure because it doesn't let you save "for kids" videos to any playlist.

Edit: I put the video into a video editor and I think it is running very slightly below 30fps. I'm clicking through it frame by frame at a 60fps setting and sometimes it advances every other frame, sometimes advances every two or so frames. So TC might be on to something, but it doesn't seem to be too bad.

They're gonna claim that they only mean "violent" protestors, but it's been proven time and time again that police and police-adjacent groups will absolutely make excuses for what they consider violent.

So yeah, this is a call for killing American citizens.

The end trial reveals that Tsumugi orchestrated the whole thing and goes meta by saying all the previous Danganronpa games and media were just fictional. There's other details but that's the large gist of it.

Yes, very much! The ending was weird when I first played it but on retrospective I found it to be a really cool direction to take considering the themes the rest of the series was built around.

And apparently Kodaka said it takes place in an alternate universe anyway, so if you want to believe everything else in Danganronpa actually happened then you're free to think that.

If there's an app that lets me do this, ad-free and phone screen turned off, I might re-consider my sub. But I also use it because it supposedly helps the Youtubers I regularly watch.

This. I felt it was coming eventually considering their shift in making all their games available on PC as well, and then working with the other console makers (Nintendo in particular) for some releases.

Echoes of Wisdom is a 2D-style game in which its style didn't need VA.

I'm like 90% sure that the next full 3D game will have voice acting again.

I'm assuming this is asking about games developed in-house, because there are a lot of them otherwise.

Not counting Intelligent Systems (Fire Emblem) and Monolith Soft (Xenoblade), DK Bananza recently has full VA, it's just one character that actually speaks known languages (Pauline). Metroid also has had full voice acting for a few games like Prime 3, Other M, Dread, and most likely Prime 4.

The only particularly bad part is flopside pit, which, granted, is ridiculously bad. But it's also pretty clearly side content that you're not forced into. TTYD puts it in the way of the main story multiple times.

There's definitely a lot of main story moments in SPM that solely exist to waste your time, like the passwords in the prehistoric world, working to get the million rubies, the Sammer Guy Kingdom and White Space afterwards...I feel like there's a couple other ones too.

At the very least, the first two I listed can be completely skipped by if you know the answers, but on your first playthrough when you don't...yeah it's annoying and painful.

For me I'd put Super below TTYD, because Super is even worse at disrespecting players' time.

I agree too. TTYD is great but the 64 game will remain my top favorite in the series. TTYD may have some great combat system improvements but I enjoy the area design (pacing) and soundtrack a lot better in 64. Also the Peach segments are better.

I'm somehow surprised that his team didn't immediately damage control and say he misspoke and meant "defending pedophiles" or something.

I completely didn't pick up on this apparently, I just thought Batman was seeing Joker (both from nothing and from others) because of Scarecrow's fear toxins. I didn't realize the Titan/Joker blood was affecting people's personalities to become Joker-like as well.

This indie dev has been having issues with his game getting censored both on social media AND on Youtube, and I sadly think it's because you're killing Nazis in it. The "official" reason is graphic content (blood, gore) but other games are getting away with that just fine.

Despite it being free on PC I think I wanna find some way to give him money. Either getting it on consoles or a donation.

I've been seeing some people say that the game shouldn't even really be called Silent Hill because it doesn't bother to connect itself to the other games in any fashion. Is that true? I dunno if Twin Snakes made it easier, but me. I grew up with games like Mario Party and Banjo-Tooie that had mashing minigames and I got REALLY good at it. Now I'm probably not as good as I was, though.
