On one hand its good that a significant employees feel strongly about this and that these issues need to be addressed

I have two I love. They aren't really "explore a specific topic" type podcasts though, just two guys chatting.

Bad Friends - Comedy duo of Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino - standup comedians

I went on a deep dive of podcasts in the LA comedy scene, starting with Joe Rogan and listened to a ton of the comedians that frequent the Comedy Store. They all started podcasts years ago following in Rogan's footsteps. A lot were junk. The ones I liked and stuck with were 1) Your Mom's House with Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky, which is a married couple, and 2) Tigerbelly, which is Bobby Lee (who you might know from Mad TV). I think Tom is incredible at this, but it can get a little too gross. Tigerbelly is good too but Bobby gets a bit too much his own ass with his ego. But at some point Bobby started another podcast with Andrew Santino, and they made Bad Friends and real magic happened. I think their chemistry is absolute top tier stuff. Also a key component is Rudy, the niece of Bobby's girlfriend who recently moved in with them from the Phillipines and has been adapting to American culture. She started serving as their in studio producer once the pandemic started since she was living in Bobby's house anyways.

I'm not so sure recent episodes are good to start with. Just starting at ep 1 might be a good idea. But here's a couple clips I really like

Intentionally Blank - Brandon Sanderson and Dan Wells - authors

This one is more recent. It's not really about books despite the hosts being hosted by two authors. I'm a huge fan of the author Brandon Sanderson, and he likes to do youtube videos / live streams talking to fans and answering questions. A stunningly boring task he does is signing books alone in a basement for hours, so to pass the time he'll do live streams talking to fans while he signs. I watch them a lot, but recently there was a really good episode where a sci fi author friend Dan Wells chatted with him while Brandon was doing his signing. A fan asked them to rank the Indiana Jones movies or some other franchise and they both did so and gave a lot of insightful thoughts on what worked and what didn't about each movie. Then the rest of the livestream devolved into them just ranking every popular franchise like Star Wars or DC movies or whatever. It was a ton of fun. I remember thinking it was really good at the time, and then a month or two later they decided it went well too and chose to start a podcast together.

The podcast is just generally them shooting the shit talking about pop culture or talking about personal stories or writing or whatever.

I think both these podcasts really just boil down to if you like the personalities of the hosts and seeing them talk about random shit. If so, it's very entertaining, if not, it's probably boring and literally nothing.

He's not speaking to "us" with that comment though, he's speaking to other developers, who see stuff like that and think "yeah, i should just never talk to the public because i might say something bad and get torn apart for it, it's not worth it". Ghostcrawler believes that despite the opportunity for everything you say to get ripped apart (which is unfortunately happening to him right now even with all his well thought out comments here), it's still worthwhile to engage.

Though obviously he feels that video is exceptionally bad

float stone seems god tier, deciding you need to get somewhere that you arent usually means you need to be there like, right now, and even spending 20 seconds to get there is too late. so speeding up that transition is good

rocky helmet seems real good, but i dont know how the math works out on how it triggers.. at worst it seems like a bit of free damage. i guess it comes down to how good other items you are giving up end up being

im using shell bell but i'm not sure how much the healing actually is. this could good but it could also be worthless. even a "high" number of healing could be useless if the glass cannons that are relying on it just get bursted down anyways which is what happens to Ninetails if you are caught out. the cooldown reduction seems negligible.

assault vest seems really nice. a solid bubble to keep you from getting bursted that refreshes itself seems solid

besides that none of the items look particularly interesting. if they turn out to be good it will just be because the math on their stat makes them good or bad.

no idea how good actually upgrading them are

i am so hype for this. its impossible to know if something like this will be good until it comes out, but I think all the signs that it will be good that you can possibly have are there. Showrunner who seems like he's very invested in the source material and wants to make a great show, but understands adaptations require some changes. Brandon Sanderson has seen a lot of behind the scenes and thinks highly of the production. Production team has been giving teases of various aspects of the show well beyond would normally be given so far in advance of release. Casting of talented actors who seem to respect the source material

It could end up being bad still but PLEASE BE GOOD

i've thought this first 5 episode of Loki were a giant pile of mediocrity at best. i'm almost afraid to watch the finale because i dont want to end this series thinking it sucked. I genuinely love Loki as a character and think he's one of the best characters in the MCU, and I love the MCU and everyone in it to begin with, so i dont think i'm biased against it or anything. it's just been a giant mishandling of the character. to think this series is below par hurts.

You might need to be careful with the first chapter. I read it on mangakalot and i think chapter 1 there is a one shot, which is retold over the first few chapters of the actual manga series. I don't think I actually even got to read the first true chapter 1 of the series...

Anyways, I've decided its not a masterpiece because it didn't go far enough the side characters. But it is VERY GOOD. Excellent story about bullying and the ramifications it can have on both the bully and the bullied.

I mean in the end it really doesn't matter too much if you buy in at $820 or $800 if the stock is going to $1600. If you're considering buying at $825 today, why not just sell the $825 put. If you really want to hedge you can just sell the put out at like Aug 13 or Aug 20 for $825 for $4100 or $4900 depending on whether you wanna hold through earnings or not. It's the easiest money in the world. Well actually selling 30 $29 puts on FUBO is easier but we can't all believe in the FUBO revolution.

If you get assigned you basically got the stock for $815 (or $784 or $775). If you don't get assigned then you get $1000 (or $4100 or $4900) for free. I mean me, having the willpower to not invest $80k for a month seems like an amazing way to just get $4k monthly income, especially since if you get the stock your money is gonna double in a few years.

But yeah the key is you never buy that put back. It kinda dummy proofs you buying the dip properly because you're being paid a premium to avoid having to time it yourself. The risk is the stock moons when you don't own it but given your use of stop gains you'll never stick around for a true mooning anyway.

This anime anthology is a cool idea, I hadn't heard of this. One thing I kept hearing from critics and the interest when the sequel trilogy went sideways was "there's just not that much you can do with Star Wars, there's not that much depth to the universe". My eyes have been bulging out of my head for years about these comments. As someone who has been consuming things like Star Wars books, cartoons, and video games my whole life, it's very apparent that there's TONS of things you can do with Star Wars. Those projects all look very varied and look like they'll demonstrate this in the best way possible.

Hopefully they aren't all shallow pieces of garbage like Love Death and Robots

As a general rule, games that take a minimum of 3 hours, are borderline luck-based, snowball, and are mostly just going through the motions for that whole time are not games that tend to be very popular.

if everyone hates it because its fundamentally awful then how did everyone play it and have many different versions of it
