Normal people do, yes. I'm talking about people who actually believe that them being unable to remember things is evidence of parallel worlds and there are people like that, just like there are flat-earthers. In fact, I would imagine a lot of them are also flat-earthers.

I really doubt more than an infinitesimal amount of people actually believe that. For the vast majority its just fun to observe these things that many of us remember differently, and then its fun to joke that its related to concepts we saw in science fiction.

Depends on the topic. Politics for example is an adversarial subject by its nature. But it will always always be stupid when people are condescending over movie opinions or other forms of entertainment.

With the verdict read is the gag order over or is Trump still bound to it until sentencing? Just wondering if he can still be brought back into court between now and July 11th for statements against witnesses and such (havent paid attention to what hes said since yesterday.)

Nah, there's tons of people still in the GOP voting base looking for justification to not vote for Trump. There's been multiple primaries where Haley has gotten 18-20% of the vote even after she's dropped out and said she's voting for Trump. There's a very organic protest vote against Trump unlike the Uncommitted vote against Biden which was intentionally manufactured and coordinated. A lot of them see the harm and damage he's causing the party, at the very least, even if they don't care about Republicans destroying the nation.

There are definitely Republicans who won't bring themselves to vote Republican, and more importantly there's Independents and moderates who will use it as justification to never vote Trump.

Theyre busy moving goalposts.

I really cant imagine a unanimous not guilty being reached this quickly. I think worst case scenario is guilty only of the lesser charge.

The fact that the defense and Trump were so happy just 15 minutes before a verdict was done is scaring the shit out of me.

I cant see any way they could be related. The defense had no way of knowing the jury was about to reach something. If anything they were relaxed because Merchan was on the verge of sending the jury home for the day.

They hinged it on all the evidence they presented to corroborate Cohens testimony before he made it.

So this topic is specifically about tipping people who work registers, which I dont see being much of a thing. Ok now cue the same old topic where people make the same old arguments about why they wont tip servers and make it sound like theyre doing so in protest of the system even though theyre paying into the system by using the services that rely on tips.

I like the main story and original characters above all, but the Disney stuff is generally fun and I dont mind it at all.

I prefer it as long as it expands on the Disney aspect. The final fantasy influence is absolutely to blame for the convoluted aspects of the story being brought in.

Funny, on the FF7R boards they generally blame Kingdom Hearts for any convoluted stuff brought into those games.

I dont know whether Id prefer to have the verdict tomorrow while Im off work and paying close attention, or Friday when Im at work with others eagerly awaiting the results.

The current case isnt wholly unrelated to the election as the prosecution has made it about whether or not he willfully tried to hide info that would influence voter decisions.

Regarding the remaining trials its guaranteed that if Trump wins the election hell do all he can to make sure they never happen. Whether or not hes successful will be the fight of the century, but as President hell certainly have a big advantage.

Picked RotJ but ESB is on equal footing in that regard. As a kid for whatever reason I only had access to those two movies and I became a Star Wars fan watching them many times before sometime in the seventh grade when I finally bought a VHS copy of A New Hope. This was all still long before prequels were made so nothing later ever had a chance to catch up to how many times Ive seen the originals.
