The most famous example is the whole pointless sub plot with Finn and Rose where Disney, the richest, most powerful, most successful movie production company on the planet, blatantly and hypocritically shoves an anti capitalism message in the face of the audience on the casino planet. There is 0 subtlety, they just have Rose say that rich people are bad.

I can't say for sure what your problem is, I can only say I had a similar problem and buying a new wifi adapter solved the issue, and not only was the issue solved, but my internet has been faster.

Either change your router or your wifi adapter.

It can make a huge difference, even the wifi adapter which is under $20 on amazon (get a wifi adapter with an antenna).

I don't think there is a problem with "type casting" as long as the person fits the character.

What matters is if the movie itself is good with that character.

I don't play games that are frustrating on purpose if that's what you mean.

That said, I play games to experience another world.

Some games can be fun even if they are easy, if they can get you immersed enough.

However, some games have both a sub par story and low difficulty, so they are just boring.

As much as people like to complain about Raiden being to protagonist MGS2 wasn't a bad game. It was a lot of fun, with an interesting story.

MGS4 was a bad game, a short game, and used nano machines as a cop out explanation for almost everything to forcefully wrap everything up.

In the Megaman X game's reploids are technically completely sentient and have free will, but so they can still be built to serve a specific purpose, they are pre-programmed to have certain beliefs and desires so they want to serve that purpose, although these can change based on experience, as the reploids as said, are technically completely sentient and have free will.

One of the most annoying things about Last Jedi is it teases a lot of amazing things that might happen but at the end of the movie it plays everything completely safe and it's incredibly disappointing.

Rey is teased to be easily temped by the dark side but it's never actually demonstrated, throughout the whole movie she's firmly devoted to "being the good guy".

Kylo is teased to switch sides but he ends up staying on the same side.

Teased that light and dark is a stupid concept but at the end it's back to light and dark.

Last Jedi somehow made crazy choices with the writing but in the end still played the movie so safe it was disappointing. It's a movie talking about cool things that could happen than doing the most boring thing instead.

If they for example, actually followed through with one of the things they teased and made Rey go dark side and Kylo switch to light, I think a lot of people would have forgiven a lot of the movies other problems (of which there are many).

Because every impression I've gotten from the other games is that they're meaningless filler that aren't related in any way to anything important and are only "Kingdom Hearts" because the human characters are in the same style as Sora. :P

They're "Kingdom Heart's games" because they feature Disney environments and characters, but the overall story of Kingdom Hearts is a mess because they keep reconning things to justify adding new games and prequels to try and make those games make sense.

I don't know how the "moving people from theater to theater mid conference with a huge intermission in between" idea made it out of the brainstorming phase.

They recovered a bit after that but I also feel like the show ended really suddenly without showing enough.

Jim Sterling makes games? The farmer analogy is confusing. It doesn't make sense to compare him to a farmer/game maker if he doesn't harvest wheat/make games.

The best I can think of to make the analogy work is Jim Sterling likes to make videos every once in a while where he purposely reviews a game he knows is bad so he can make fun of it.

He was in fact previously sued by a (small) developer for doing so (which he (Sterling) eventually won). It was considered a big case because if Sterling lost this case it means it's okay for publishers to forcefully silence criticisms of their products through youtube take downs and lawsuits.

There's considerable middle ground between "heavily censored" and "having absolutely no quality control at all." Other digital storefronts manage that balance pretty well. Steam could easily manage it as well, perhaps leaning a bit more to the permissiveness side (since it is good for the indie industry in particular to have a distribution platform that's easier to get onto), but they've instead opted to completely eschew any sort of actual effort on that front. The result is a cesspool.

From my experience it's usually either mainstream games only (like Game Stop, PS4 digital store, etc.) or niche games only, and they're usually not allowed to occupy the same space.

Not a lot of places will sell you both Call of Duty and Nekopara at the same store, which is what Steam was seemingly trying to do before, purge the niche games.

Steam has always been a dumping ground but it's still easy to find what you're looking for.

I've never had a problem with that.

I disagree with Steam being heavily censored and filtered to only allow certain content.

That said, this whole thing started with Steam suddenly and out of nowhere trying to remove anime games and VNs, does this mean they're okay with uncensored VN games now? They say content is okay unless it's "illegal' or "obvious trolling".

I'm not a DoA player so I didn't notice the difference in the trailer, but apparently they are intentionally trying to tone down the sexuality in the game.

I don't know if it's Koei Tecmo or the developers but they have been concerned about if the sexuality in DoA would receive negative backlash outside of Japan in the past.

In other news though, Steam says they aren't going to try and censor content anymore, but offer viewer exclusion options so people can choose to not see things they don't want to see. Who knows if they will keep to their word though.
