At 34 years old, 5'-6" tall, weighing bout 200 lbs, and seeing my cholesterol and A1C on the high side, I need to be mindful of what I eat. One of my fellow Scout leaders lives an active life in his 20-30's but had a heart attack in his late 30's. He said he made some mistakes in his youth but I didn't ask him the details. Hearing him talk about how scared he was to leave his wife and sons fatherless though does kinda bring things into perspective. Seeing my own aunts and uncles regularly taking pills for their cholesterol and diabetes is also discouraging.

I don't think it is necessary about being ashamed but also honest with yourself. If you don't like someone that is on the heavier side, that's fine. But don't go about saying it's "the inside that matters" when suddenly said person is now attractive. Just admit looks is what you cared about.

Even then. Don't most places at least reply back that another candidate was considered? One city I applied to actually sent me back a letter. I liked how formal it was but at the same it made the rejection feel so much worse compared to an email.

I do that as well. It does result in me getting a larger tax return and realistically that $1,000ish that I usually get back would just sit in my bank. Whatever money I have set aside for investment is already drawn regularly from my bank account independent of what I get back on my tax return.

I'm still deciding between doing taxes on my own again or consulting a CPA. My car is the only major item I have with a loan going on so I am fairly sure I can get by with the EZ form again. I think my mother and sister just feel I can either make a mistake any/or a CPA might be able to squeeze out a bigger tax return.

When it comes to additional deductions or taxes, I mention whatever donations I have made but it usually isn't enough to make a difference. The amount of Use Tax I report is usually less than $50 as well I think. I can only guess for some folks they take the highest donation deduction they can that doesn't involve showing proof and I am sure most people do not report Use Tax. Kinda wonder how most CPA would approach this.

Kinda indifferent. I live with my mother and for the past three years or so she always leave on a one month trip to Burma, Taiwan, etc. It feels a little weird when it is only me at home but at the same time its nice to see the house left in whatever state I left it at when I leave for work and when I return home.

Back in Episode II we saw some droid football in that club. In the EU I recall there are some holo movies of sort. Even Wraith Squadron former commander was a former child actor I recall. So said entertainment exist.

Looking at my Steam library, I musta bought Civilization V in 2011 during some sale but have not yet touched it. Maybe I'll give it a looksy after I finish my Rome Total War campaign. Just one more turn...Having not played any of the previous Civilization games I can only assume the newer releases are easier to get into given the nature of modern games nowadays.

In some cases I do find it neat when older games are introduced to younger gamers after they've played the later releases (i.e. Morrowind, Deus Ex, Baldur's Gate, etc.) and despite how archaic some of them can be, said gamers might enjoy the earlier releases.

On this, dont download any battery saver/phone cleaner apps. Ever!

I think the closest thing I have to a battery save is one that adjusts the screen brightness. Beyond that I don't think it touch any apps.

As for cleaner, I use CCleaner. I have been using CClearer on my home computer for years hence why I trust it on my phone. I think beyond deleting my call history, cache, and empty folders it doesn't do anything too crazy. Are you suggesting these cleaners do more than the simple stuff that I can manually do myself?

Curse thee console players! I'll be waiting till Augustish before it releases to PC. On the plus side, they'll be plenty of resource material several months from now.

I'm still torn between sword and shield, light bowgun, and maybe even charge blade. I like the mobility of the sword and shield but kinda feel the extra omph from the charge blade would be useful at times.

Do you have a case and screen protector ready? Or do you go naked with your phones? A friend questioned why I bought the case and screen protector early but I simply can't go naked on a new phone until maybe 2+ years after.

Even now whenever I take my Nexus 6P out of the case I feel Murphy's Law is gonna slap me and it'll slip out of my hand. Hell, even if I was careful the surface texture does feel too smooth to have a good grip.

Unfortunately the PSP version is not an option for me as I am not desperate to the point of buying a PSP just to play said game. Which leaves me the GBA or Android version. The Android version might be closer to the PSP version than the GBA but I am hesitant on mobile games. I'm not against buying a used GBA cartridge but am hoping to spend no more than $20. Kinda confuse with seeing some of these fanmade reproduction.

Well dratz. I thought every stat improved simply from usage without penalizing other stats. Didn't realize magic decrease as attack increases and vice versa. There goes my hope of making a demi-God party.

Depends on the game but usually off. If on it'll be set to low. Only mobile game I'm regularly playing is Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. In Clash of Clans all I do is just gather resources and upgrade.

Wowza. It's one thing if the flaw is across all/majority of the phones, another if it's sporadic. Well, I skipped the Pixel in hopes the next phone would be better and now I'm hoping the Pixel 3 will be better. Ain't holding my breath.

For better of worse, I really like the Google phones and getting the OS update early but depending on how they are when my Nexus 6P have one leg in the grave, I might have to consider switching.

Forgot bout that. I've been noticing something similar in my Nexus 6P but of course this is after two years of using it. Is this only with the XL version? I tend to like the larger size but if this repeats itself, I might have to give up on Huawei and go back to LG.

Only issue I read about is the blue tint on the screen. I took a look at my friend's and brother-in-law's Pixel 2 XL and though I notice a slight blue tint, it doesn't seem that notable. It doesn't seem to bother them either. Of course it just comes down to personal preference.

Thank you for the additional responses. Given FF II relatively unique leveling, I'll like to give it a try a least. I tend to grind through JRPGs anyway so might feel right at home with the older FF games. At the same time though, given how Square Enix never returned to FF II leveling system, I am probably in for a beating. In the case of my characters, quite literally when I work on increasing their HP.

I briefly played the Famicom version well over a decade ago but at the time it didn't hold enough interest after I had recently finished Final Fantasy III. With FF XII coming to PC soon, part of me feel compelled to play through the FF games I haven't played yet, namely FF II, FF X, and FF X-2 before I start on FF XII.

That being said, I am not sure which version I should play. I had play the NES version of FF I and Famicom version of FF III so kinda feel I should do the same with FF II. Of course with how archaic some of the older games are I am a little hesitant to play those version.

Is the newer version in FF Origins easier to stomach or the original won't be THAT bad?

Yup. I haven't been 100% satisfy with the movies as of late but they haven't disappointed me to the point of not wanting to watch them. I think the recent Fantastic Four movie is the only super-hero movie that I hesitated on watching.

Wowza. Not directly related but I attended a Hindu wedding a few months ago and the ceremony was about a hour long. Funny enough us guest did not know that and when the DJ announced that appetizers were available we were all confused as to why food is being served during the ceremony. The Maid of Honor had to clarify that the ceremony is a hour long and they wanted guests to not just sit there the entirely time.

Doesn't that comes down to the film itself? Some actresses seems to be more "cute" than "sexy/hot" but they're all attractive nonetheless in my opinion.

That being said, I wish her the best in finding future roles after A Game of Thrones ends. When I think about some child actors, not many seem to make it big after their respective roles end. But then again, some continue their acting careers in plays and other forms of theater outside of the big picture.

On a completely different note, I wonder why it isn't the norm to wear a mouth cover if you are sick and have to be out in the public. As ridiculous as it may look, you are doing it for the good of others. Of course such cover isn't exactly necessary if folks actually covered their mouths when they cough/sneeze and not cough/sneeze into their hands but not everyone is that courteous.

Probably not. I'm fine with her not interested in video games but to outright hate it might lead to her being annoyed with how I spend some of my free time which can't possibly be healthy for said relationship. Imagine sitting down to play your favorite game and instead of being indifferent, your partner actually looks at you with scorn.

Have I done stuff before that my parents did not approve of? Of course. Did I do them on a regular enough basics that I am constantly getting an earful from them, nope. The latter is what I simply want to avoid. That constant nagging for something that I regularly partake in.

I think it varies by the product. Prices for green onions went up quite a bit I think from the usual $0.25 a bundle to $1.00 in Los Angeles. Now I know its green onions and not exactly food food but that is just one example.

The Last Jedi had issues but overall I still enjoyed it. For me its hard to compare them since they contributed to the overall story in a different manor.
