$70 a pound? I can't even imagine paying that much for meat.

I think the typical restaurant cost for A5 beef is bout $30 per ounce. Buying it from a supplier is cheaper but still on the expensive side. My friend ordered some wagyu of lower quality priced at $35 per pound for a farewell dinner. It tasted oilier for sure but can't say I noticed the difference. If it mattered, we served it Korean BBQ style so had em in thin strips.

Personally I think something like this would be wasted on me since my palette is not as refined.

Think the best I had mighta been an 8 oz American Wagyu rib cap for $70ish at Gordan Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas. Was my first time trying out blue steak. If I ever try that again, I'll probably go with rare or medium rare.

That being said, I still would enjoy a $28 24 oz ribeye if seasoned and cooked the way I prefer.

I do. But I have around 8 cards. Cards do cause reckless spending so if that's a concern avoid em altogether. IMO if you can avoid a credit card habit do it.

I did have to stop myself from getting too caught-up with the various cashbacks and offers. I had an Old Navy credit card for maybe a year or two until I realized I only shop there less than a handful times a year so the extra deals with the card wasn't worth it enough to have the card.

skullbone posted...
I have both because there was some deal once where you got $100 for getting the store card or something but I only ever use the Amazon Visa.

Fair enough. I currently have the Amazon Visa credit card but always see those -$40 or whatever on your next purchase with the Amazon store card offers constantly on the website. Not sure if I have seen higher for a long while.

Been a decade since I replayed either of em, maybe 2.

But yeah, when I tried last time I was like, how did I even play this?

Same. As much as I enjoyed FO2 at the time with my melee build and powerfist blowing holes in people's stomach, I tried playing again on Steam and it felt too archaic for me. Maaaybe one day I'll sit down and give it a try again.

I would say no on the grounds that some places do annual raises even if the workload/type doesn't change. So technically there could be two workers doing the same workload/type but one will get paid more simply for being around longer.

Granted at the same time, the person who has been around longer will usually also be given more responsibilities at some point so the wordload/type will no longer be equal anyway.

Now starting pay for the same workload/type should be the same especially if both workers started about the same time. Naturally of course as one worker or the other start to show better performances even for the same workload/type, a raise in pay may be justified. In my opinion sometimes it is worth paying more to keep the good employees than paying less for someone new and having to train them again.

At a glance it seems the only major difference is the store card has 5% cashback while Visa credit card has 3% cash back. Store card offers 0% interest payment plans for certain tiers of spending while the Visa credit card varies on whether or not such promotion exist. Store card is done through Synchrony while the Visa credit card is done through Chase.

The store card seems ideal for those large purchases if you do not want to drop a massive payment all at once but at the same time that seems like a dangerous approach as it could lead to careless spending.

If you have both cards, what is your reason to obtain both?

Comments are appreciated,

Thank you

I think I would be more concern about other possible ramifications of such beings existing. Kinda reminds me of Bladerunner. These beings will probably be used for manual labor, wars, etc. basically anything society do not want to subject real human beings to.

No doubt some people will feel it is okay to do whatever with these beings since they are not real while some will feel it is morally wrong. It is an area where I personally feel we should not tread into.

I have not experienced something like this to the degree you have, TC. But I do have one or two friends who are little forgetful when it comes to reimbursing me for certain events.

Years ago we had a Bachelor party in Las Vegas and one friend owed me about $500. I do not like to remind people about money so I gave him a chance to repay me back without the reminder. About a month passed before I reminded me and even after that it took another two weeks and another reminder before he paid me back. He has a good paying job so I'm sure it was him simply being forgetful and not short on cash to repay me.

Another friend owed me about $200 from a birthday dinner and same thing, I waited two weeks before reminding him and he repaid me immediately soon as I reminded me.

Personally I am indifferent about this ban. I feel we can't ignore a rule when it is convenient and expect not be punished for it. That being said I am sure there are times breaking said rule(s) can be justified and perhaps some leniency given. I have no stance on whether or not this is one of those times breaking said rule(s) is justified.

The Batwoman mantle is older than a lot of people realize -older than Batgirl, in fact- and not every character to hold it has been a lesbian, no. But this character -Kate Kane, the one currently holding the mantle- always has been.

Off-topic but I feel this uproar is similar to when Thor was "made into a women". Without looking into it further I first assumed it was Marvel rebooting Thor into a women from the start. Was not until I read about it that I realize it was just Jane Foster taking on the name/title of Thor. Not quite the same as Thor being "made into a women" if what I said make sense. Of course without reading into it further that does makes me wonder if Thor has always been more of a title instead of a name.

Maybe in urban cities but on trails, horses and their riders have the right-of-way followed by cyclists and then hikers. Far easier for a hikers to step aside than a cyclist to swerve around the hiker. I do not mountain bike but I would rather step off a trail and leave a smaller mark than have a cyclist go off the trail and leave a bigger mark behind. Plus some trails are too narrow/steep for a cyclist to go around.
