But the aforementioned two were great entries and you don't have a wrong answer between either of them. I pick Metroid for a number of reasons but Village was honestly goddamned amazing too. --- |

| Rango 09/01/21 3:22:21 AM #13 | I think it was for a while. But honestly, it's hard to say considering how many amazing games have come out after its release. Ocarina of Time was either my #1 for a while or within my Top 10. But considering the release of God of War 4, Persona 5 Royal, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Super Mario Galaxy, and various Smash Bros. titles (to include Melee which easily can go even with Ocarina in terms of quality), it's hard to really call it "best game ever" the way I could when the pool of legendary games was far smaller nearly 20 years ago. --- |

It just feels like one of the most polished, balanced, and enjoyable experiences you'll ever get to play. It excels on every note. --- |
