Is making posts this long some sort of gimmick? I'm no expert on these forms of currency but the idea of the IMF or BIS taking on crypto and putting it forward as the global financial system as an alternative rather than a supplement to printed money is flat out ridiculous. Rich people will not give up what they already have, and while I can't personally predict major financial crashes, I don't think that enough people will come to the conclusion that money is actually worthless with how the world is right now regardless.

The second season of Saiki is a lot better, imo, although I'm not a fan of the way the extras were adapted. Honestly, I think Saiki is funnier than Gintama, but doesn't really like to take itself seriously, almost ever, whereas Gintama genuinely has some touching bits. Maybe I'll push for Gintama to get a run in a year or two.

Also, I think I'm one of the few people who watched LotGH and liked but didn't love it. I remember it was a bit too much and just not that fun sometimes, and at a certain stage I just wanted it to be over. Then again, I have a short attention span as it is and I was a fair bit younger. Maybe I'll give it another crack some day.

RIP Saiki. Way, way better run than I ever expected from it given it's usually gone with the fodder at the bottom the first day I miss an hour or two. It's one of my favourite series, a bit like a lovechild of Mob Psycho and Gintama. I don't think it's everyone's cup of tea and the dialogue is mile a minute so it requires a lot of focus, but it's one of the most laugh-out-loud funny shows I've ever seen. Highly recommend to everyone (and both seasons + extras are on Netflix, too!)

Italy are just terrifying. I know they're "only" beating us 1-0 and aren't playing the top teams, but they're the scariest team in the tournament. So intense all game.

I think there's a pretty clear gap between those bottom four and the top six. TTGL is the wild card for me, but given how many votes it's been picking up since other shows dropped I think it could go far. I think if Monogatari and LotGH get near the end (which looks likely), they may not have the support of enough people to win it.
