I don't because I think of the times when there was an active shooter in a school. Kids with phones were able to phone parents, possibly saying goodbye or I love you. They could phone police to let them know where they were hiding or whereabouts of the shooter.

Wasn't that patched out? I haven't played since the final patch was released but yeah my town was filled with makers and there was so much lag. I wonder who thought that would be a good idea.

Another point..like I said, I'm 71. A gamer. When I was a teenager/young adult back in the 60s and 70s, I was considered a hippie. And we all know about the hippies and drugs and free love. Seems like there is always going to be a lable for us no matter what we do. I've been married 49 years to someone who wasn't a hippy and doesn't game. He just laughs about it and says it's a crazy misconception.

Good idea! I will do that Mew. Makes me angry when they throw all the bad onto the gamers. My grandkids are all gamers. Oldest one is a pharmacist. Second oldest has a masters in HR. Third oldest had a love for Pokemon and the breeding part of that and figuring out their statistics. He now has a bachelor's in actuary science working for a big pharmaceutical company determining percentages of side effects on different meds. Yuppers, me and my grandkids are a bunch of bad people because we're gamers.

Oh, and they totally don't realize my love for animal crossing and watering flowers and stuff. Everything is shooting people games to them. Had to get up and walk away the last time. One old lady said "you can't be one of them are you".
