i don't think he is really as good as he played during linsanity. he looked like a third grader against miami

i think he puts up something like 16 and 7 this season. solid numbers, but not irreplaceable. the knicks need more of a distributor who can hit open 3s at the point anyway, which is what kidd was gonna be...who knows what's up with him now

Well now you've got the gears turning in my head.

Brock and Tensai get their briefcases, neither cash them in until the fall. Brock fights at Summerslam and then disappears until October or something.

Tensai cashes in, and Brock cashes in at Survivor Series. Then they form a tag team (for some reason) to win the tag titles. They sucker the US and IC title holders into title vs title matches and win their respective titles.

Then in the lead-up to Royal Rumble, Brock turns on Tensai leading to a "titles vs. titles" match at RR, where the winner gets all the losers titles, including their tag title, and Brock wins. So he has all the titles and is a one-man tag team.

TNA actually did this with Angle and Joe.

Clueless was great but here's why Mean Girls is superior:

Alicia Silverstone in her prime couldn't hold a friggin lightbulb to Lindsey Lohan in her prime.

Brittany Murphy has never been hot, let alone Chabert hot.

And no one in that movie came close to Amanda Seigfried.


P.S: it also didn't have Tina Fey and Amy Poehler on the script.

And trios and stables as a whole mean a lot more than singles competitors in CHIKARA (although that's changing a little with the creation of the Grand Championship). In DGUSA, Gargano leaves and you can just elevate another guy or crown a new champion. In CHIKARA, Gargano leaves and you suddenly have a gaping hole in FIST that you can't fill with just anybody.

On the surface, "Losing top singles Champion" would seem to be a bigger blow than "Losing 1/3 of prominent stable."

He's their top singles champion, but he's not their top guy. It's not like they're losing their John Cena or Randy Orton (or I guess CM Punk is more appropriate).

In CHIKARA, Gargano is a top competitor to all three belts and a member of one of the top 2 trios, as well as the top tag team in the company. F.I.S.T. being broken up right before King of Trios would be almost catastrophic. You can't have KoT without FIST and The Colony.

-It was reported yesterday that Johnny Gargano may be leaving Dragon Gate USA.

It now appears that he may be leaving DGUSA to join the WWE. Gargano wrestled a tryout match for the company earlier this year and WWE wants to sign him to a developmental deal.

He is the reigning Freedom Gate champion and will defend the title against Akira Tozawa at the DGUSA show in Michigan on July 27. He is expected to be gone from the promotion at the end of the month so it is likely that he will drop the belt to Tozawa.

WWE is trying to sign several wrestlers from the promotion, including Gargano, Sami Callihan and Brodie Lee, who is already signed and in FCW as Luke Harper.
