I expect the same outcome here.

That guy who found the dude molesting his 5 year old? The dad beat that guy to death and didn't get charges filed against him. Texas wasn't playing around on that case.

He was treated at MetroHealth.

wtf... how does anyone survive that?

It's a lot harder to stab someone to death than TV makes it look

A single stab sure, but 5 times? It isn't that hard to hit a major artery with 5 stabs.

Aren't stabbings more lethal than shootings too?

Wasn't that chick that was stabbed over the Slenderman thing stabbed like 30 times or something but still lived?

Well if they hadn't canceled Young Justice and had it going for the past 4 years, we'd have gotten like 5-6 seasons by now, and that alone would have been worth a DC streaming service just for it.

I mean, it certainly wouldn't be worth a constant monthly subscription though (assuming that's what they are going for)

As someone that went from ~190 to now constantly between 155-160 and posted results on CE, I never counted a single calorie

Makes far more sense to me to do research on whats healthy, make a list of everything that you think you would enjoy eating long term, and simply eat those things 80-90% of the time while avoiding common calorie dense foods like soda, alcohol, chips and other snacks 80-90% of the time (if not completely)

In regards to how much to eat, well I simply ate til i wasn't hungry any more. Important thing here though is don't eat yourself full. You can eat yourself to not be hungry while not completely filling yourself up. Advice I heard and stick to once was "On a hunger scale of 1-7, eat yourself to a 5", which basically translates to eat yourself to a 7/10. You're not completely full (and pretty much everyone should know what feeling completely full feels like) but you're also not hungry at the same time. That's where you want to be. This does however require you to be aware when you are eating and making sure you really ask yourself "Do I REALLY need to eat the rest of whats on my plate?"

When I go to a restaurant, I almost never eat everything that they serve in one sitting. I always eat about half of it and eat the rest later. That's just one tactic that I use to not over eat

To answer the topic, I don't take any pills except for a One a Day Men's vitamin when I remember to. Although my doctor has told me that I need to take vitamin D pills but I'm simply not the type of person that can commit to taking pills every day. Luckily I'm otherwise a healthy person and don't need to take anything.

Just to add to what I said earlier since I'm at work and have time because the servers are down due to Hurricane Irma, here are a few other things TC

You mentioned a lot of different reasons in your latest post as to whats stressing you out about getting a job, when most of that stuff itself doesn't even apply to the first step which is getting a job. Lets go through all of them. Here, I'll create a very simple, starting out bootstrap plan for you. Yeah bootstrapping gets a bad rap on here but sometimes it's the only way if you want to better your situation.

Housing - this is already covered for you. No need to even worry about this right now at all when you already have a stable living situation. No excuses

Transportation - as stated earlier, try your best to find somewhere nearby that you can walk to 5 days a week. I walked to work from junior year of high school til I finished my 4th year of college. It can be done. You know the area and businesses around you and you definitely know how to get on the internet and find local business to apply to. No excuses

Money Management - Dude, don't worry about money management until you actually have money to manage. Also, it's not hard. Here let me solve this problem for you. Once you've got your job, go to the bank and open a checking account and a savings account. Give your new employer the information to direct deposit your money into this new account. You've been doing just fine without personal money apparently so your expenses should assumptively still be low and therefore you should be able to save a pretty large chunk if not damn near all of it, especially since you wont have to pay transportation costs. You shouldn't really even much need to touch this money so there really isn't much "management" to be done. There I just solved your money management problem. No excuses.

Applying - Applying at jobs is pretty much the ONLY thing you need to be worried about right now. I pretty much already gave you a plan here in my previous post. Follow that and try to get as many interviews as you possibly can and practice common questions beforehand. If necessary, get two jobs since you've obviously got plenty of time. There's no reason to not be working 40 hours minimum. No excuses

There, that is a simple bootstrap plan for you to get you started with being an adult. As Asherlee stated before, we get it, it can feel like a lot but part of being an adult is learning how to manage it. The good thing is that all of this doesn't have to be done at once. It can be done over time. Just do a few things a day.

Hopefully all of this doesn't get ignored although I'm sure there is a very high likelihood of that. Maybe someone else will see it and be inspired, I dunno. Either way, take it or leave it. No excuses.

You don't get that it's not just the job, everything surrounding it is stressful and overwhelming for me. Including money management (banking), housing, applying, transportation (I can't drive) etc.

It's funny, I was just reading something yesterday completely unrelated but the content applies here. It mentioned that people won't or are to scared to start something new because they view it all as one big giant thing that they have to do, instead of breaking it down into manageable steps. And the way you just phrased this pretty much confirms that that's exactly how you are seeing it.

So that's what you need to do, stop viewing getting a job as this big gigantic monster that needs to be handled all at once. Do it in steps. Hell, step one could be something as simple as locating potential work places that are nearby to you that you could walk to. Step two could be going in and filling out applications. Step 3 could be researching how to interview properly and step 4 could be practicing common interview questions etc.

Stop viewing it as this huge 20 headed monster that needs to be slayed all at once.

Honestly, how did anyone not see this coming?

It's not a matter of not seeing it coming. It's a matter of hating that it's happening.

In all honesty I'm more surprised at WHO is doing it. DC is doing a streaming service? Really? Like how many shows do they have that could justify paying anything worthwhile for a large amount of people? I just don't see how it could even be a profitable venture for them.

Disney....maybe. I mean they have a large enough catalog, name brand, etc that I could see people buying it but perhaps not when they are weighing the option to but it's service over Netflix. How much new content will they be putting up regularly in comparison to Netflix? I feel like they would be one of the few that would have a realistic chance at getting a lot of repeat subscribers.

I'm kinda confused here. What does bringing over the future kids to the grandparents house have anything to do with a guy asking a girls parents for their blessing before asking her to marry. It's not necessary, once married the family will already be blended whether they like it or not. If they want to see the kids, they can. None of that involves asking the parents beforehand.

The comment isn't about 'defending' them. It's about not legally being allowed to give out personal info during the investigation, because they shouldn't be tried in the court of public opinion before the investigation is even done.

The kids' story is that it was an accident, and as bullshit as that sounds, they HAVE to consider that possibility until evidence suggests otherwise. That's his whole point - he's not defending anyone.

My very first post I said that he wasn't outright defending them so....

If you actually read the whole statement, that's basically what he said.

And if you read my whole statement, you would see that I said he should have left it at that. There was 100% no need to add the whole "mistakes shouldn't follow them" bit. It suggests that it's possible that their downright racist actions were potentially a "mistake" and shouldn't follow them for the rest of their lives if it's found that yelling racial slurs and putting a rope around someone's neck is deemed to be a "mistake".

The problem here is that the police chief didn't outright defend the boys actions, so people like darkjedi and lovefist are going to harp on that.

Fact of the matter is, even suggesting that something like might be an "accident" is downright stupid on behalf of the police chief and does downplay it to a degree. It's not an accident to put a rope around someone's neck, it's not an accident to call someone racial slurs. He should have left it at "We are still investigating and we can't release all info right now because they are all minors but what is said to have been done is downright horrifying and unacceptable at all levels and the people involved will be prosecuted accordingly"
