Saturn has a ton of great games for those that actually explore it's library.

* If a gay person talks about how hard it is to find people on Grindr for a commitment, make jokes about dating in the way of "Gay guys have issues about finding commitment on Grindr, but let me tell you something about my experience in other dating apps"..... etc.

These comedians just need to take a talking point, and turn it onto themselves as the subject. They take other experiences they don't have, and sometimes use it to punch down.

It's not hard. Everyone has experiences with everything. Everyone experiences them differently based on who that person is. Tell it from your own perspective, not from some made up strawman point. Once you figure that out, make a few jokes about it, and boom. You avoid being an asshole.

Like George Carlin once said - anything can be funny it just depends on context

No, South Park just lost touch with its own brand of comedy.

Used to be off kilter humor, kids actually acting more like kids, you had pop culture references and celebs occasionally but they weren't used as the crutch for the entire show to exist on like now, and it explored a lot more of its wacky citizens.

You don't really have any of that nowadays with South Park.

Same reason why our parents loved stuff like MASH and hated Friends. And why our kids will love something that hasn't been written yet.

tbh Friends was never great to begin with. Definitely has to be on any Top Most Overrated TV Show list.

Yeah this is what's baffling. And the AVGN movie just wasn't very good with all the time and hype behind it. Even when trying to view it as just an AVGN film. Hell, even looking at it from the perspective of a low budget cornball movie it still was pretty lame.

Anyway, ignoring the leftovers of 261 in this topic, this movie never really seemed to get its due props for ages. I think it's since the first movie played things more straight whereas this one opted to be more of a parody.

Topic about a quality, underrated movie and you just had to ruin it from the jump by making it about your eye rolling political views.

People who still cling onto the ignorant 'country music sucks!' mentality get their perception by modern country artists. You need to listen to some older stuff.

That being said when it comes to genres: Country>Rap and it's not even remotely close

Dude, this saying is as old as dirt and just dated at this point. Anyone who has been on this site long enough knows this isn't necessarily always the case. Rule enforcement has never been consistent.

Are there people who ignore the rules? Sure.

Is that also used way, way, way too often as a crutch to justify sloppy rule enforcement consistency? Absolutely. Has been for years.

That's just how it's always been. The userbase has historically had issues understanding and following the rules and so to has the staff. In other news - it's another day that ends in y.

CE has NEVER been a good board to begin with. It's always been...what it is. That being said it was becoming 261 2.0.

Combine that with the staff's inability to properly moderate politics related messages properly and you reach the conclusion that it's for the best to just get rid of political discussion overall on this site.

If it's going to to continue to be handled poorly (always was and always will be), it's just best not to even have it and deal with the issues surrounding.

Anyway, you can tell the people who did absolutely zero research into the Rittenhouse case.

Like: "He was driven across state lines!" for example. His dad lived in the same town he went to. And while technically he did go across state lines, they try to make it like he was driven several hours across state lines when in reality is hometown that he lived with his mom in sat right next to the state border. So he didn't actually have to travel far at all.

And he has family (again - a father) and friends in that town that he worked at. People try to make it out like he was taken many hours off to a city out of nowhere for no reason in which he had no ties to.

Again - people in this topic that have done no research into the case whatsoever and try to manipulate narratives for their own purposes

So say if someone calls a fetus 'a clump of cell', they're not only not disproving that it's a living organism at all, they're doing the opposite - reaffirming that it is.

A cell grows a reproduces. It's a living organism. It's ancient knowledge.

Anything that:

- has the ability to grow and reproduce
- has the potential to grow and reproduce if it isn't capable of doing so by default (i.e. eggs)

is scientifically considered a living organism.

A fetus by those definitions is exactly that. Even a singular cell is considered a living organism.

And organisms that are unable to live when being taken out of their environment are still considered living. It's why a leaf is still considered a living organism even though it dies when it falls from a tree.

So regardless whether people fall in the whole abortion debate - a fetus is technically a living organism and that is fact

The problem is conservatives think a fetus has consciousness from the very beginning. My mom thinks fetuses try to escape from an abortion doctor's knife and that they feel fear.
