This is an extremely big issue. Restaurant feuds have blown up because of servers stealing, under-reporting, or trying to fudge the numbers. Because of this, restaurant managers are typically very vigilant in tracking tips, etc. Everyone is eyeballing the fuck out of each other to make sure that nobody is trying to fuck with tips.

No. The tip gets split among waitstaff, porters, dishwashers, and oftentimes cooks. If cooks do not get tips, it's because they're being paid a guaranteed salary that's higher than the others.

One of two reasons usually:
a) PR. They take the hit, but the PR that they receive more than makes up for it. Also, NYU has one of the largest healthcare systems in the city. I bet they make a lot of their money simply from the research and healthcare fees that they receive.

b) Endowment gifts come with conditions. The Einstein school received $1 billion ON THE CONDITION that tuition is free. So basically, they afford it, by simply making tuition free until the endowment cash runs out of money.

This part I disagree with. Only because you'll find that almost all of our military investment in other countries results in a net-positive to our economy (except for the War in Afghanistan). Our involvement in the Middle East gets us cheap-ish oil without ruining our own environment.

Preventing Russia from trying to re-establish the Eastern European bloc is mutually beneficial. We get to keep tabs on our allies, and in exchange, they let us build military bases to prevent our known enemies from getting too powerful.

ALL of our military aid to Ukraine is in the form contracts where US military companies get to hire US workers and pay taxes on profits. Giving aid to Ukraine does not prevent us from trying to fix homelessness or poverty in this country.

So you can't argue that military aid make us poor. In fact, I contend that America's economic strength is predicated on its imperial strength as a military and diplomatic power. We benefit economically, because we rely on cheap labor and cheap natural resources, while also controlling the banking system, as every non 1st world country uses the US Dollar as their reserve currency.

If you're going to argue based on moral reasons, then that's more than OKAY. But if it's based purely on economic terms, then I'd have to correct you on several points.

It doesn't necessarily require discarding anything. They could set up an appointment to collect one egg and make an embryo from that. If it isn't viable, just make another appointment. It'll just substantially increase the price of the treatment for those who cant get it on the first attempt

No IVF lab is trying to do this with one single shot, using only one embryo. They're going to collect multiple eggs, and fertilize them all, even if the couple can only afford one. That way, the couple can decide some time after, whether they wanna try implant the remaining embryos.

There's something a bit wrong with Disney if they can't figure out how to make a Hulk movie for less than $500 million while Fox (a studio they now own) could make War for the Planet of the Apes with primarily CGI characters for $150 million.

Is it full CGI? or did they use monkey face models and alter some details around it? But, anyway, I can imagine it's a lot easier to draw CGI monkeys than it is to draw a realistic looking closeup of a green humanoid with skin pores, sweat, and muscles rippling and expanding during the Hulk transformations. You said it yourself, Apes cost less to make than Quantumania, or even Across the Spiderverse. Perhaps you're right though, a lot of the budget could just be licensing crap.

You don't want to make a mistake and destroy the uncle without 100% guaranteed proof, so everyone tiptoes around the issue, and gossips behind his back.

This is actually a misconception. The majority of office space in most major cities are not suitable as residential living space. Many of these have to be fully gutted in order to convert them back as residential apartments.

Also, many of these commercial districts don't have enough facilities to deal with actual residents. We would need to put in more supermarkets, hospitals, medical facilities, transportation, etc., etc., etc.

by just militarily rounding everyone up and moving them to a remote location, right? Is this how Americans want to deal with the situation? Round up all of the Muslims, Mexicans, homeless, etc., and ship them off onto a national park in Montana or something?

These changes tell me that prices have a lot more to do with transportation and real estate costs, than it has to do with monetary policy.

Rich Mexicans aren't going to immigrate to America, because there's no need for it. They already have their power. At best, they come to America to buy property and investments , or sell shit.

On the other hand, people who fly to America via airplane aren't dirt poor. They are often educated immigrants who were able to make some money, save up enough, then fly over. Then they overstay their visas, and then find ways to stay because they've gotten jobs or used legal/business connections.
