My biggest disappointment is never greeting any type of Han, Luke, and Leia reunion. Disney absolutely wasted their chance there.

This is absolutely the biggest sin of the sequels. Everything else can be fixed. This is forever.

Expect things to be different from BG3. Don't get upset if something doesn't go the way you wanted because the wrong rule didn't carry over.

Nah, I agree. It was still amazing TV but the time jumps made it feel less like a cohesive narrative. I wanted more time spent on each storyline and for more through lines to carry across the season, which doesn't work when you keep skipping. 5 seasons was probably too many but 4 would have been ideal.

Just popping in to offer a potential alternate characterization for Luke in TLJ, since certain people seem convinced that people who hated TLJ wanted to see a flawless, boring Luke. This change keeps literally everything else about the movie the same, but gives Luke a flaw that actually makes narrative sense.

Just have Luke buy into his own success a bit too much. He's juggling way too many balls post-Endor and so while he senses Snoke's attempts to influence Ben and Ben's growing darkness, he just thinks "yeah, if this gets out of hand, I'll just redeem him like I did with my dad." So he lets the problem get out of hand, and then when they have their confrontation, Luke tries the same love-and-compassion trick that worked on Vader...and this time it fails. Ben takes advantage of Luke leaving himself open and manages to knock him out and flee.

Of course, we'd still have the issue that Luke decided to hide away from the world and let the galaxy fall rather than lifting a single finger trying to help, but at least (imo) it's...better?

Well, I think it's an interesting idea but the roles would be tricky to work out. Like, do we now have a light side-ruled First Order trying to chase down this one Sith? Or does Rey somehow become in charge of the First Order? Lol.

Before TLJ, it was hard to tell how big the FO actually was. In my ideal version of the script, they would be a lot smaller, and have been completely screwed over by the loss of Starkiller Base rather than absorbing that defeat like it didn't matter. As a faction, they would be essentially defeated by the time dark Rey was stepping into her role.

Gosh, I wish Disney had had the stones to have Rey and Kylo switch roles. Give us a redemption arc ending with Ben returning to the light and being the protagonist for ep 9 while Rey actually turns to the dark side and becomes the episode 9 villain. It would have been a really unique twist on the classic Star Wars struggle with corruption and redemption.

My prediction: Dedra gets Axis. Luthen sets up a self-sacrificial play that gives the rebellion a small victory/fighting chance.
She's given a new assignment as a reward: ISB liason aboard a new top-secret battle station...

It's a true story, but you're leaving out the part where they gave him a plan and he never got back to them. Interesting detail to leave out.
