Episode 1 of Dragon Quest Dai beated. Love the old school designs (which I guess makes sense since it's a remake) and all the DQ monsters in action. Kinda sad there's no actual DQ music in it, but I guess it is kinda its own separate thing

seems like unlike the first anime this one will actually be a full adaption of the manga.

Did watch the 2nd to last episode of food wars though. Sounds like the final episode will change the manga ending to hopefully something fans would be happier with. (Granted I don't think fans like the entire final arc so maybe not)

two weeks late to the party but Franky running over Big Mom's face with his bike is the coolest thing he's ever done

it'll still be rough with the non-existent budget they had during Dressrosa, but at least it improves significantly after that

even though the pacing is what it is still, I would say the anime today is on par or even better than the manga just because Oda purposely leaves details out of the manga now so the anime can fill it in later.
