Well whatever the case it was the right call in the end. The screw up happened when they didn't bother going back to Crossbell between CS2 and 3 because we had no publisher.

Hm? CS1+2 had the same 2 year gap CS3+4 did.

The difference being CS1+2 were right at the end of the PS3 so needed to come out faster to maximise sales. Pretty sure that's the reason xseed decided to localise those over Crossbell at the time.

Kinda sucks the PS4 doesn't have a shelf life like the PS3 did. Means they don't really have a reason to rush any of these games out like that had to with CS 1 and 2.

They're assholes for spoiling it for people. But we're probably not seeing the events of that game in English for another 3 years at the bare minimum so you were always gonna get impatient people wanting to know everything right away. After the delay translating Crossbell has caused they really need to knuckle down and try firing these games out yearly in a hope to getting closer to Japan. We can't afford to get even further behind.

Should've probably been out late year or early this year.

Sources told the site that this new model of the PS5 has been in production since the PS5 launched in November 2020.

If this is true then this was probably the original plan to begin with but they caved and threw on the disc drive last minute. The digital console does look better.

If it wasn't for people milking GTA online for so long i think we'd already be playing it. That being said we'll be lucky to be playing it in 2024.

But the Sky games are treated like OOT & FF7 and nothing bad is allowed to be said about them.

Every time i see a Trails topic i'm reminded we still have another year to wait for the next game.

Makes me wonder just how much of this would've been in the game if it launched at the start of this year like it was probably going to before the pandemic delay.

The big news here is RE4 being on PS4. Thank you Capcom.

Yeah at least with P4 they tried making new games. The longer they hold out on 6 the more likely it is to skip out on the PS4 which would suck.

Sucks it's sticking to turn based but i have Ishin and Gaiden to keep my happy. Hopefully Judgement coming to PC means we'll get another one of those as well.

Maybe i'm making this up but i always thought they alternated the gender of the canon hero since Awakening. I've only played Awakening and Fates but in the former they gave you the perfect number of pairs if you had a male Robin and the same for Fates with the female Corrin.

We're finally getting a Samurai Yakuza game! Ok this has surprised me.

The only thing that can make this good is some RE4 gameplay but i have a feeling Capcom will save that for TGS.

So they remastered Tales on PS3 and now they're remastering it again. I tried playing it on PS3 but thought it was crap and outdated. Then again i've never been overly fond of Tales in general.

Crisis Core is a bit late in the year. Unless it'll be on Playstation sooner.

Can't believe A Wonderful Life is getting a remake. I've tried finishing it twice and got bored. It's enjoyable but damn does it drag.

This would be pretty hype. Still haven't played 5 yet.

Doubt they'll announce anything major this late in the lifecycle. Zelda is probably already being developed for the next console.

The end of the game is amazing but most of it just drags doing the same school stuff again.

I mentioned this before in an older thread but 3 felt like a reskinned 1 for the most part. That's not something i want smack bang in the middle of an arc when we're meant to be getting to the business end of things.

I realised when i looked at the poll that i never really had a favourite.

I've noticed the PS5 is starting to remain in stock at a few online retailers in the UK lately. The supply/demand is starting to plateau a bit.

I was never paying 450 for a PS5 so i'm certainly not paying 30 quid more. I can see retailers sticking to the 450 price point but saying "look guys we're knocking 30 off the RRP!".

Of that list it's RE4 but overall it's The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie

It'll probably come out in Feb just in time for the CPT. Could argue Evo Japan having a SF5 tournament means it'll come later but i'd still wager on Feb.

From that list it's Mickey Mouse. The key is to think of characters who pensioners grew up with that are still recognisable by young kids today.

I always did Sabrina first. Made more sense seeing as you get to Celadon where you have access to the water to get into Saffron.

SF vs Persona is basically can Nintendofaqs SF2 on the SNES beat the Persona series.

Will they ever learn basing characters in these games off real life people always leads to trouble down the line. Anyway i really didn't like Y7 much but i'll see what this one looks like before i completely write it off. Hopefully we get another Judgment game at some point.

Not sure i'd put it top 5 but i think it's one of the better ones. Certainly the best of the 13 trilogy anyway.

Got a PS2 for Christmas the year it came out. Bought 2 handheld systems myself within a year though and that was the Mario Kart DS bundle and a PSP with GTA:LCS. Never really saw the point in buying brand new systems as there's never really anything to buy for them within the first year and a half at least.

I miss that era of the internet.

Only ever played the 3rd one on PS2 and got bored of it not long in. Since then i've heard nothing but bad things about these games.

The fact Dr Mario beat Wonderboy 3 shows how biased everyone is to Nintendo.

Yeah the big test was meant to come at this World Cup. I was expecting us to reach that quarter final clash with one of the big boys to really see what Southgate was made of. If he puts together a run that actually includes beating one of the elite teams then let him carry on. Otherwise i think it's time to see what someone else can do with the players.
