Mainline FF games dont get a free pass just for being mainline FF games. If there was another game with XIII/XV reception I dont think it needs to turn up if its not a weak year otherwise. XVI is a snub because it reviewed much better not because it has Final Fantasy in the title. Contests have nominations anyway so its a different thing.

I know why it got snubbed and i wasn't really saying it deserves to be there just because of the name. Honestly why even bother at all when Zelda wins everything. We're jumping through a bunch of hoops just to find out what % BG3 gets beat by.

Leaving a mainline FF game out of a poll like this is unacceptable. If this is a sign of things to come maybe it's better we don't get another contest.

Ordering online in the UK has been cheaper and faster since the mid 2000's. Buying from shops was always more expensive and you had to wait until the official release day. There were of course the back street game shops that would sell you stuff a few days early but their prices couldn't really compete with online either.

PUBG used to be great. Kinda lost interest a bit when they started adding way too many guns and attachments though. Plus the game started to become unplayable on PC.

I swear that content creator one must just be them randomly picking names out of a hat.

If you include PC in gaming then that. Otherwise it's pretty close though as i'd probably pay 400 max for a phone and at the moment i'd probably pay 400 max for a PS5 if it had a few games or extra pad with it ect.

That's why SA dominates in terms of level design. Such great variety in both cities and rural areas.

Yeah SA had a really good map.

One thing i do hope they fix in 6 is having more than one big city area. The problem with 5 is they gave you this amazing city and then the rest of the map was filled with pretty much nothing in comparison.

I played and finished 5 before they even launched the online for it. Never really saw the appeal in it tbh. The game was better than 4 but i really didn't like the "lol you get no money again" thing for most of the game. Also in games like these the radio needs to have at least 1 good station otherwise i lose interest really quickly. As mentioned a lot of it is driving around and if the radio sucks it turns you off the game.

I think kart racer may be the best spin off any game series can do.

Everytime we touch defo felt like it was around a few years earlier than it came out.

It'd probably be Marth>Duke. Altair is one of those flavour of the moment characters that falls off a cliff the further you move away from their games release. Duke at least has age behind him which probably gets him over the line.

I was gonna say i was shocked to see Vanille winning this when i always thought everyone disliked her. She was my fav character in 13 though.

I've heard that Cold Steel is the most popular arc with casual viewers.

They hit it out of the park with Cold Steel 1. The Persona vibes really helped the sales i think.

Sky is like watching paint dry and Zero is actually decent.

I'm a massive fan of turn based.The trouble is when you've got a series like this that just keeps adding more powerful mechanics over 10 games then you're gonna reach a point where it becomes a problem. Even the character crafts became a problem eventually. They just kept boosting them all every game until they had broken stats.

Been waiting for this. Never got the chance to play Spirits.

I've heard that this one got a pretty muted reception from the fans. I'm still interested but also I wonder if I'm just not done with the series after CSIV. Felt like a pretty good ending point.

I'm gonna give it a chance because they're changing location and the battle system. I feel this is a pretty crucial game for the longevity of the Trails project as a whole.

That's your opinion mate. I got the impression UshiromiyaEva wasn't that into Zero which is why i said it. Plus there are some of us that felt Cold Steel was the best arc.

I suppose I'll pick up Reverie then, especially if it does build towards Daybreak! I wanted to force myself to keep going with Zero first, but I'm certain if I hold myself to that I'll never play another Trails game again.

If you're not feeling Zero then you may as well just look up story summaries on youtube. To be honest i wish i'd just done that for sky and crossbell as i was basically just rushing through them to catch up after i'd played CS2. There are that many games in the series now i wouldn't blame anyone for doing it.

C's route was fantastic in Reverie.

With this one basically being like a reset for the series it'll be interesting to see the sales. Not gonna lie i was starting to get burnt out a bit by the end of Reverie. The series had lost some of its magic. We've seen enough of Western Zemuria now and the battle system was just boring with how broken it was. Hopefully this arc can recapture some of the magic that lured me in with Cold Steel.

I can't think of anything worse for gaming than digital only. Hey you want that new game day 1? Well you better be prepared to pay the RRP for it and there's nothing you can do about it.

Looks like everything in that direct has a release date of Spring latest with the exception of Luigi's Mansion 2 which is summer. They're keeping the back half of 2024 free.

If that F Zero leak is real it's making me doubt if Nintendo will even release a new system next year. Why would you throw so many games at the Switch when it only has a year left as the main platform.

I thought Crisis Core was better than 7. Although i played it on release so maybe my opinion on it would change after another playthrough.

Look he's one of the best managers we've had. The trouble is the only way England will win anything with any manager not just Southgate is if we get a lucky draw that includes the final. If Switzerland make the final of Euro 2020 then we win it. If Russia beat Croatia in 2018 then we make the final. We have to rely on other nations to take out the big boys. It's almost like a curse at this point the amount of times it's happened.

I mean he's better than most of them but the point still stands he can't get the job done when it matters. Doesn't matter if you're beating teams 10-0 or crawling over the line with a 1-0 AET if you fall as soon as you face one of the favourites.

That's Germany winning the Euros next year then. They must've been desperate to put Voller back in charge but whoever the next manager is will probably win it.

As for Japan they are showing everyone they weren't just lucky at the World Cup. They have excellent teamwork and will be a team everyone will want to avoid come the next World Cup.

Southgate is just doing what every manager since Ramsey has done. Beat what they're expected to and then lose to the better teams. The only exception of course was to the current German team in the Euros.

Meanwhile England have one of the best squads in the world but won't go anywhere because the manager is clueless.

Just make it backwards compatible and it'll be a winner.

Cold Steel 3 was 2019

Rallies are crap because they only care about the meme character.

Saints Row 1 and 2 were brilliant. The 3rd one was good but that's where it started to get over the top silly and then the 4th one went completely overboard and looked awful. Shame really as they had something really good going in the early years that rivalled GTA.

Got a Pixel 6a in Feb but my phone before that was an Iphone 4s which i had been using since launch. The hard drive on it was starting to fail.

This game is triggering me. I'm attempting to get the Emblem quartz and the game refuses to give me Angelica from this stupid gacha system. What makes it even worse is i have to keep fighting the same mini boss for 5 minutes to reset the seed. According to a guide, i seem to have pulled literally every other person i can at this point but her.
