Which brings me to another point. Is anyone physically going? And do you want to meet up for a drink or something if so? I'm actually off work until Monday now so could meet up with anyone at pretty much any time. I don't have Mania tickets so wouldn't be able to meet inside the arena.

@ShatteredElysium I keep debating whether to grab a last minute ticket to go or not since it's so close.

it’ll be ten wrestlers from Smackdown, Tyler Breeze, Fandango, Dolph Ziggler, The Usos, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Heath Slater, Rhyno and Mojo Rawley. On the Raw side, there will be Braun Strowman, Big Show, Jinder Mahal, Bo Dallas, Goldust, R-Truth, The Shining Stars and Curtis Axel. So there is one spot left for a surprise.

I wonder if maybe that last one is Zayn and he just overlooked it

Seems like I remember VOW mentioning in passing once on their podcast that they got a tip there was going to be a surprise entrant of some kind. I may be misremembering, though.

In the build for Mania, Cena, Miz and Maryse should win an award for their work. When the match was first talked about, people groaned about what a waste it was for Cena to be in it. Cena himself even joked about that on an interview. The idea was fans weren’t getting Cena vs. Undertaker (and if you’re looking at big picture direction, Reigns vs. Undertaker really does make far more sense–Reigns is the guy they are building for next year’s main event–not Cena) and Cena was stuck with Miz. But between the interviews by Cena and Miz, and the great mocking skits that Miz and Maryse did in playing Cena and both Bella Twins, this was not only the most entertaining build to any match on the show, but in the end, the comeback promos by Cena did more to enhance the match than any promos for any match this year. And that’s on a show where you had super effective Goldberg vs. Heyman, and two of the best talkers in the business going at it like Jericho vs. Owens.

It's kinda backwards in that I feel like the Miz/Cena mixed tag build hasn't been great when I'm usually praising Miz at every opportunity.

I mean I guess in comparison to the other builds it has been but man they drug it out SO MUCH. Like I don't think it actually developed at all beyond "Cena is a phony who doesn't really love you and this is just for publicity" -> *SCREAMING CENA PROMO TALKING ABOUT HOW REAL HE IS* ad nauseam.

Now it's like... boring. It feels like, fake. Like the whole promo is set up just so Cena can go off on his rambling I'M SO REAL!! tirade.

WWE sent out another massive mailer to people who had at one point subscribed to the network offering them three months free, pushing that if you sign up, you get WrestleMania, Payback, Backlash, Extreme Rules and Money in the Bank all free. Not only did they send this to people who had subscribed in the past, but they also sent it to people who had gotten free offers in the past but never subscribed, so they were giving those people three free months as well. The offer is only good until 4/3, so essentially they are trying to pad the numbers for the 4/3 network announcement where they’ll announce and push a figure of like 2 million subscribers even though several hundred thousand wont’ be paying.

Elias Samson came out with his guitar, under a mask and said his name was the Straggler...Nakamura & Dillinger beat Moss & Straggler in what was said to be the most exciting NXT match in Florida this year. Nakamura spent the match trying to unmask the Straggler. He finally did, but he had a second mask underneath. Nakamura then put on the first mask and transformed himself into a luchador doing some lucha spots including doing a dive. Moss unmasked him, and he turned back into Nakamura doing hard hitting offense. It ended when Nakamura pinned Moss after the Kinshasa.

With a video of Trips' Terminator entrance and saying how I don't want to miss the excitement of The Game at Wrestlemania.

Still no free offer.

If they gave me a free offer I would watch WM. Otherwise I will just watch CHIKARA or Lucha Underground that day.

Anyway, the Battle Royal is Strowman's to win. They may give Balor the Demon entrance at WM. That is the only reason for him to appear. If he does get it, he should win the Battle Royal. It feels like a waste of a spot for Balor, but I doubt he'd care. Getting to do his entrance in his first Mania and winning would probably still be worth it. He isn't injured anymore, and being held off Mania in any capacity would suck. Case in point, Joe has to figure into Rollins/HHH somehow.
