Pretty sure I spent around 200 orbs on the Legendary banner. No Elise for me.

But I did get 3 Gunnthra merges and a Halloween Nowi. I'm just going to save up orbs until my next chance.

My ultimate goal with 120 Orbs was Zelgius/Nowi/Robin, though extra BowLyn's and Ike were appreciated, and I would have a niche fit for Sakura.

Got a terrible Sakura, but also a +Atk/-Res Zelgius. Given my track record with previous Legendary Banners, I'll take this as a win.

I usually love these fodder banners but it hurts to have no Reposition or Triangle Adept anymore. And why is Jeorge still here instead of Sothe? :(

I'd count it as a success any time 120 orbs gets me a beneficial nature on the unit I was targeting. Sakura is decent fodder with her weapon at least. Sothe with that dagger can one shot most mages.

Yeah, I meant to say that's a huge win compared to what I'm used to.

Hmm, I had honestly never thought of trying that with Sothe. The only one I have is 5*, but he's -Spd. If I ever pull a 4* one that has any other bane, that does seem like a really good use for him. Thanks for the idea.

Minus speed isn't even that bad for this purpose. Attack boon Sothe with Fury/Vantage is a great mage check. That's 75 worth of attack to mages, and you can push it higher with team support. That will be enough to OHKO just about anything you need.

Well, he's +Def, so that would be some real identity crisis he'd have with Kitty Paddle+.

I'm considering dumping one of my new armor units for something like atk/spd bond or brazen atk/spd. And using desperation 3 over swordbreaker. Thoughts?

Atk/Spd Bond would be a waste on her with her refine. I feel her role is as support and not as a primary attacker, but if you want to take her to the frontline, Desperation with Brash Assault could be an option

Nice Eirika. I kinda feel like Rally Resistance is overkill and a Reposition or Draw Back would serve your purposes better, but otherwise she looks really solid.

Congrats on the Eirika. I'm two merges behind. Desperation on a support unit doesn't sound great, and it doesn't work well with the bond skills. I'd consider distant counter if you want to give her an expensive skill and make her a green mage counter.

I typically have a rally on my Eirika's support skill too. If the three other units have positioning skills, it is usually fine. The extra boost is sometimes necessary for my Tharja to blow something up, like an OHKO on Myrrh. I'm thinking of going Iceberg on mine now to make use of that resistance

So I know most of us use adblock(or Ublock or something else) and thus have no trouble with ads, but man I didn't realize how awful using gamepress is on mobile. Instantly had about 4 popups blocked before I got hit with a redirect, and that was within seconds.

Also for what it's worth(Rival Domains is some incentive now) we should totally update that FC list. Or remake it so it can actually be updated.

In other news, trying to figure out how to get some more barrack space. Not sure what to merge up. Maybe Kagero. I don't use her anyway. But then could she really do anything with a 2 base dagger(She'd be pretty much on the bottom of feather priority)?

Also special shout out to Beruka who has 9 3*s sitting in my Barracks but I've apparently only pulled 5 4*s of her. So tempted to just merge the 3*s into each other just for the "This unit keeps bothering me" meme like I did with Saizo and Bartre. Too many other units I want to use feathers on than her.

I was lucky enough to get Beruka at 5* +Def/-Spd on the only banner she received and use her as an absolute physical wall occasionally in AA. Was able to make use of a Bowie and gave her Earth Boost, which combined with her weapon refine, activates quite often and powers up Ignis for significant damage. She is not the absolute fodder trash she used to be now that Glimmer is actually good, and it would be nice to +10 her at some point, but she is bottom priority and you get so many of her from pulling greens, so I would just send her home

Attack boon Kagero is still useful in arena assault for me. For skill inheritance, she really only has that dagger.

If you're thinking of merging 3* units, why not release them.

On a whim I decided to actually try at Arena Assault.

It's clear that I still need to raise up some units. I only have two built raventomes(Cecelia is +10 but she has no inheritance unlike Robin and Lyon). Almost died to Micaiah because it turns out the only green I have that can attack her at range(That doesn't die instantly due to being an armor/horse) is Nino...who is my team 7 "I win" button.

Olwen apparently can't even take out BK/Zeligus without dying(Though that match was the classic "everyone has vantage" cheese) and had to resort to BLyn poking everyone down. Slowly.

Ranked at 7905. I'm sure I'll drop, but it's nice that I can get a decent amount of feathers by putting in actual effort.

You've been avoiding AA this whole time? Even when I have a lot of good units, it's still stressful because I don't want to use up too many good units on a single map, but sometimes I end up going in underprepared and need to start over to get that perfect score. It's very annoying how increasingly difficult it is to stay in the tier I want to be in

I also noticed it took a lot more to stay in top 5k in the last TT, so there must have been a lot of new players in the past two months or something. You needed a score of over 170k, when I previously only needed about 30k less...

I haven't avoided it. It's just I did the minimum effort run. That is, have one unit fight beginner, then beat up on easy foes in intermediate(To get a few extra points on the people who did 7 beginner).

Arena assault become a lot more manageable once I took the time to setup a bunch of prebuilt teams with some level of synergy. I mainly roll with them and and occasionally sub in someone like Rhajat when they can basically solo teams. I bladed my Olwen, and I've yet to run into a Zelgius that she can't blow up.

Cecilia and Spring Camilla are my only raventomes, and I don't think I need anymore than that for this. I used to be able to get top 5k, but top 10k is more typical now.

Holy hell, you guys weren't kidding about Auto Battle on the Rival Domains maps. I did Lunatic on my own and barely passed with a 1240/1100. Decided to say hell with it and try to let Auto Battle win me Infernal and it scored 1820/1400.

Infernal only took me two tries this time, discounting surrenders to avoid starting archers. Seems like having a healer helps a lot

Arena Assault I do:

Highest Possible Scoring Team on advanced to start
Beginnerx6 with 6 preconstructed balanced teams.

Generally I get somewhere in the 10000-20000 or 20000-30000 range with minimal effort.

Random note at present it seems literally impossible for me to stay in tier 20. I just got a flawless run with my highest scoring team possible and it's only good for 4984, which is just outside top 30%

I guess I could constantly reload opponents to get 714 or 716 every match-- that'd be good for a bit more points but skeptical it'd be enough.

Yeah, I did the same, but only good enough for a 4928. Checked the ranking and found I barely cracked the top 10,000, and the cutoff is 5,444.

You generally need a score of 5060 or higher to stay in Tier 20. I currently have a score of 5044 and I'm about to drop out already.

Hrm... not sure if I should have dropped those last 100 flags or not. I have my doubts I'll get into the 2.5k feather bracket. Not sure how much I'd drop if I didn't burn some flags though. Falling back into the 1.7k feather range would be tragic.
