Today's a bit different, with all the options being from the same generation. But it felt wrong comparing these man-made abominations to anything else. What would these prehistoric pokemon have looked like intact? We may never know, but we do have these four bizarre hybrids to enjoy instead.

I used both Arctozolt and Dracovish in Sword. They're fun! I feel so bad for them, but they try their best.

I don't like the designs of any of these at all aside from Dracovish which gets my vote by default on those grounds. They're all ugly as hell, and four of them is honestly too much. However, this is an excellent and hilarious concept for a Pokmon line and I am very glad they did it, even if they didn't need so many.

Are these real?

The one that looks like a cupcake/candle/wig on a mannequin head makes me laugh, so I hope that I voted for the right one.

A fossil chimera Pokmon is a really cool idea, but I'm not a huge fan of the execution. I think my big issue is that Arctovish looks much more "correct" than the other 3, which makes me think there should be others that match up too, but there definitely aren't.

Dracovish's head is on the wrong end of its tail, and Arctovish's head is facing the wrong way. Arctozolt is freezing, Dracozolt is the only one that looks like it might survive on its own for longer than 12 hours. But does that make it the best or worst? IDK, these things are hilarious and horrifying. 'Zolt' is definitely my fav mini design here but idk what to pick overall.

Sure, but it's easy to see the mouth as a decoration and the decoration in the front as a mouth. Plus the color schemes match up, when none of the others do. I'm not saying it is correct but at a glance it's wrong in a much more subtle way.

That's because they are.

Dracozolt: The powerful muscles in its tail generate its electricity. Compared to its lower body, its upper half is entirely too small.

Arctozolt: The shaking of its freezing upper half is what generates its electricity. It has a hard time walking around.

Dracovish: Its mighty legs are capable of running at speeds exceeding 40 mph, but this Pokmon can't breathe unless it's underwater.

Arctovish: Though it's able to capture prey by freezing its surroundings, it has trouble eating the prey afterward because its mouth is on top of its head.

As far as the parts go: Zolt is adorable, Vish looks kinda dumb, Arcto is cute walking but less interesting swimming. Draco impaling Vish is funny.

None they are all shit

These 4 Pokemon were poorly received by players that didn't realized the context, and only just saw their designs at a glance. But when you talk to the fossil "expert" that creates them for you, who is named Cara Liss, you realize how hilarious of a concept they are.

Dracovish is an absolute beast though, and he got pretty popular just for how good he is in the game.

I hated them when this topic first started but the more I look at them the more I love them. Gotta give it to Dracovish, because the head being at the wrong end is too good, even if upside-down head is also amazing

I think that people who say "yes I get the design joke but they should have made properly connected fossil Pokemon instead" don't actually get the design joke.
