The catch is that if we guess wrong about the role, no kill happens at all that night.

We just werent sure which part of Corriks role was true... we knew he did target Ulti with something since I tracked him night1.

I wasn't reading incredibly deep into this, but it might be funny for y'all to know that I guessed the scum team and an equal number of Town after the Plum lynch because I was screaming that there was no chance he flipped Scum. I got zero scum on my scumlist (HB/Corrik/Ben/Isquen) and Death and Lopen on my townlist. Honestly, I think Scum played fine the first few days, and just got absolutely ruined by great power usage from Corrik, Sultan and Chang.

On bad read i have during the game was one on HB tbh I had him as scum still had him as potential scum unt the suicide. But the suicide basically sealed it

Corrik day 1 said half the game was town and was right about every single one of them. Town mvp right there.

Congrats, Town! I agree with Chris. Chang targeting Lopen was the game-changer that got scum to fall apart. That, and, well... scum not believing literally any town claim.

And thanks to Chris for hosting. Even though I was in no shape to be pushed around in this (especially since nobody agreed that SBell was obviously scum, which... he was).

Wouldn't have mattered, I claimed BG as the Roleblocker.

You weren't mortally confirmed, but it was very unlikely you were scum.

Was not a fan of the setup having Detective gotta say. Tracker or Jack as Corrik's night role and I wouldn't really mind but seeing him as actual detective I was pretty put out by that.

something about Lopen railing on red for all of day 1 with some weird logic (imo) really didn't sit right with me even though nobody else seemingly took any issue.

Now that aside I didn't hate the setup. I think taunter is a little strong with journals and a full power game as it has a lot of townconfirmness and can potentially catch mafia and if it does theres no ambiguity due to journal, but that might be me being bitter. I also didn't like that our role guess stopped our kill if it failed (and I think our team was balanced for getting the Janitor right as flavorcop wasn't very useful)

I will say however this game wasn't what I expected when I signed up for role madness. I was expecting more creative wacky stuff like our gun ability, not just a million power roles. So that and detective made me a bit unsatisfied with the game. But oh well.

Go very far for demon slayer. Noted.

I will not redo journals again. I was just seeing how people interacted with things. I feel like taunter into journal is rarely broken but also poor lopen lol.

I think journal's were cool but need to be tweaked a bit.

All town vanillas getting journals would be dope

Yeah it wasn't just that it was about mafia, he was excited for mafia.

I just wasn't buying that from isquen scum. Especially from my current PoV where I'm completely fucking terrified of drawing scum.

Confirm with Chris - I was pumped to actually draw some suspicion and not be pocketed until endgame for once... even if my enthusiasm was unfounded because I *passively* got roleblocked, instead of actively.

I mean, I can host if nobody with more experience is able to. It'd just be a simple game with only a few roles (doc, cop, godfather) and a minimalist setup. That may be a good way to follow up the chaos that was this game tbh.

But if someone else wants to, that's okay. I'm just offering.

Good game.

That was a fun game to follow along, especially completely blind! My personal Town MVP award goes to Han for burying Lopen and having a strong presence on his last day, though honorable mention goes to Chang for being pivotal to Lopen's lynch in the first place.

That being said, I thought Lopen was Town until that moment of contradiction regarding his Bus Driver claim. Lopen played a very strong scum game.

Corrik got some amazing scans but did a horrendous job at trying to convince people while keeping his role hidden.

Lea gets the award for being most entertaining to watch. I feel like I learn new words or phrases with every couple of posts, and her witty humor combined with her eloquence led to some hilarious moments. Damn shame she died so early; she was one of the few town players who didn't have an ego the size of the sun.

And finally... Ctes gets the Kirby award, which is a special reward given only to the local Town Punching Bag. Even though many kept suspecting you, I always believed in your towniness! After all, I've been on the receiving end of that before lol

It's kinda funny thinking about how different this game could've been if a townie was mislynched on Day 3. Hb getting modkilled burned the mislynch that y'all had earned from lynching Sbell (or alternatively, no lynching). I could only imagine how awful it'd feel losing the game to a very avoidable modkill.

Shout-out to Chris for another unique Mafia game! Thanks for hosting!

Corrika aura of no one believes me was well crafted for years. Its perfect for him when he rolls scum or a power role, and people really sell him short game after game after game. The dude buried 3 scum and town cleared half the game by day 2. Like jesus bro, too good.

Thanks! I would have refused claiming these last days too if it came to it. I didn't think it made sense with my role at all, especially given the anti claim mechanic. I felt pretty good about not being night killed since scum needed mislynch options. I thought there'd be a push on me in the later days and I was ready to comfortably lean back, but then the remaining scum all got caught and Han managed to townclear me before dying.

I don't buy it. You didn't believe a single town claim. You thought both Corrik and Ulti were lying. You doubted both HB and Red. You weren't certain about Ben. I'm sensing a trend...

That said, you did see through my "roleblocker" lie, going from theorizing Doc to correctly concluding Jailer. My claim was just a move of psychotic desperation to get heat off of me. Wasn't thinking straight. My bad. Won't play again when I'm in that state of mind.

You could try to Metta it but their would be twists and turns to what I made people and why.

I'm still not signing up for non replacements right now so I'll throw together another game if nobody else has one ready to go

Or actually I think I would try to help get Sbells crazy game off the ground

If you're creating the roles based on the players who sign up, how will you decide who is scum? How will balance work? Lots of questions with that.

Alot of good questions this was just a sper of the moment idea I had while playing role madness lol
