I probably won't be watching it live, but I'll check r/FireEmblemHeroes and find out what they announce. Besides Zephiel and the CYL Roy, we haven't had any new additions from Binding Blade in a while, so hopefully we can get some more reps from that game soon. Sue, Zealot, Cath, Gonzalez, maybe even Idunn or Old Man Hector. Since we just got Micaiah and friends, I doubt we'll see more Tellius characters any time soon, but I'd love to see Boyd, Ilyana, Volke, or Ena get added.

But all I'm really expecting is a legendary banner and CYL2 winners. Expecting anything more than that is only setting yourself up for disappointment.

I need a Brave Ike, period. I still haven't pulled any of the brave heroes besides the free one we all got (I picked Lyn) and I have multiple units that would love to inherit that Steady Breath... about half of them are dragon lolis, but still, my point stands.

Shame on you. I chose Brave Ike and he's lovely. Honestly, right now, I don't know who I'd give SB to if I got it. I have Myrrh, but she's a flyer. I have Corrin, but she needs DC more. I have Y!Tiki, but I haven't put any investment in her in the first place so I don't know how she'd fare with it. I'm not using Nowi nor Fae. Who to choose, who to choose?

It's a free legendary hero so it means you should also be getting a free earth blessing which likely will give +3 def and +5 hp to unit during earth season when brought with legendary ike.

Hector's good an all, but having 2 free legendary heroes would increase your chances of having a bonus active at any time.

Honestly, I wouldn't be upset with either Hector or Legendary Ike. Both are solid units who aren't easy to get.

I have three Brave Ike and he's not that good. The fact that he's an axe user without distant counter makes him very situational.

Can't counter common arena blues (Reinhardt, Linde, Summer Corrin, Nowi etc)
Can't counter common arena green (Nino, Julia, Spring Camilla, Sonya etc)
Can't counter pretty much any red.
Can't counter pretty much any colorless.

He's basically just a counter for Effie and that's it

Did they mention when any of these events will start

The legendary banner is actually kind meh when you get over the lack of pity breakers.

You have a 1/3rd chance to pull the unit you want and every color has a meh unit you could grab.

Blue has summer robin.
Green has summer xander or gunthra. Tho summer xander does have infantry pulse SI at least.
Colorless just kinda everything. Though Faye at least has Firesweep bow and Takumi brings CC for the few range units that would want to run it.
Red has sanaki, who at least is slightly better with the recent forge upgrades to her weapon.

With the CYL banner coming soon and sniping a single color is very costly for orbs, I would say the legendary banner in general isn't really worth while to pull.

The Brave Ike, Brave Lyn, Sigurd, Nephenee banner is better to roll for. Starts at 5% instead of 3%. Brave Ike and Nephenee have strong SI skills(Steady Breath and Wrath). Brave Lyn is a great unit and also packs Swift Sparrow and Smoke Atk if for some reason you want to SI her. Sigurd is another great unit.

At the very least, that's the least likely to happen due to how many 3*-4* units are red. But you will more than likely draw a lot of trash red units with poor SI trying to sniper any of those 5* reds.

He's my pseudo-Nowi counter actually. As long as Nowi initiates on him while he's at full health, he'll Quick Riposte-> Aether her to oblivion. I will admit he's liable to mages even Blue mages with his Urvan's secondary effect. But he gets the job done when I need him to oneshot low defense Colorless or blue mages up close or absorb damage from non Reds.

He's on my core team with Lilina (who covers Greens, Red mages, and colorless), and F!Corrin (who covers Red phyiscal and debuffs everyone else).

Oh Jeez. Your analysis has opened the light to how I could feasibly replace him with Myrrh. Decent bulkiness but can also take Magical hits. Now I really really really really need another Hector. Or Fjorm for Atk/Def bond.

Effie doesn't need Distant Counter imo. Almost all Reds in the Arena are sword users and she has low Res anyway.

I have an armor team of Christmas Tharja, Effie, Halloween Henry and the Black Knight and I never thought Distant Counter could have helped her.

But I gave Henry TA3 and Gronnraven+ so I use him to kill all colorless

I ran into an monster Effie in the arena last week that can prove you wrong. This Effie had Distant Counter, Wary Fighter, Distant Defense from a seal, and a +Res refined Berkut's Lance. That's what I was planning on building for my Effie, a Berkut's Lance rendition. Mine is +DEF/-SPD, so I can get up to 32 resistance. Which doesn't seem too shabby at all.

Just got legend Ike from the free pull! So happy. Got the dragon girl with the gold wings from my first orb pull last week too. This and Bleach:BS are my luckiest mobile games. Got all the units I want from while being a f2p player.

I pulled a Nephenee from the Hero Fest banner, but sadly she's +HP/-Spd, so I guess I'll just figure out who to pass Wrath to. I don't really have an interest in Vanguard Ike, and the only character in the Legendary Hero banner I even have a slight interest in is Sanaki, so I think the rest of my orbs will go into the Hero Fest banner instead.

I got a +Attack/-Speed Bow Lyn and a bunch of Draug, Raigh, Odin trash.

B!Lyn still has an insane amount of speed. If you're that worried about her speed, run Brave Bow on her. She'll obliterate any mage that isn't built to counter her. And those who are built to counter her will be doubled either which way.

And Odin is far from trash. Red Tome breaker, Barblade, Moonbow, those are all prime skill inheritance material.
