transphobia is best thought of as a system. our society is transphobic. we were raised in society. this has an effect on the way we view the world, whether or not we realize it.

it is reasonable to assume that this would have an effect on peoples' dating preferences.

Simple. You (or anyone, really) have to make a conscious decision to not be attracted to all members of a group as diverse as transgender people. I'm assuming you're attracted to women. There's going to be trans women who you won't know are transgender unless otherwise told that they are. If, upon finding out somebody is transgender you're suddenly not attracted to them then it's because of transphobia at some level. It's no different than if you found out some girl you liked was black and suddenly weren't attracted to her. If you discount a massively diverse group of people from your dating pool based on a factor that itself may present itself in countless ways? The person who holds those feeling would have to have some degree of bigotry towards that group. And being unwilling to address that bias, especially when it's been consciously presented to you, is a missed opportunity for growth. But then, nobody's going to force you to be a decent person, it's why systematic transphobia is still so strongly supported by the ruling class.

That said, Blair White is also the type who supports a lot of things like white nationalist groups who would want nothing more than to kill her one day.

That's not how it works and you know it. Trans women are women. Black women are women. If a hetero male loses all attraction to any women upon discovering she's trans or black, despite the massive variety of people to whom such a label could apply? Then the person who isn't attracted would be transphobic or racist respectively, though to what degree remains to be seen. Some trans women have a vagina. Again, the issue is excluding all members of a diverse group at once based on an immutable characteristic. At the end of the day though, if a hetero male or bi/ lesbian woman would have zero attraction to any woman upon discovering she is trans then it's because of transphobia. Mostly the "they don't consider trans women to be women" variety, mind you.

And plenty of cis women DO actually have to regularly dilate. Ever hear about women doing kegels, especially as they approach/ reach menopause?
