Oh god, these two guys really do not like each other. Backbreaker from Irwin and IRS is sent flying right out of the ring.
They are now brawling outside the ing and IRS gets the face right into the steps.
The Bad Guy is in trouble now, Gorilla is confused by IRS's strategy.
Winner of this bout goes up against Owen Hart, because how the hell is the 1-2-3 kid going to be able to come out.
Reversal and clothesline from IRS, Donovan is getting his moves confused.
RAZOR'S EDGE IS ALREADY UP THERE AND HE GETS IT! Razor Ramon goes to the finals!
Bret Hart looking for Jim backstage. Now what's Todd up to these days? He's the most energetic of the backstage interviwers.
Owen Hart vs 1-2-3 Kid
Owen is a man on a mission today, he's desperate to emulate what his brother did last year.
Now will the 1-2-3 kid show up? The beginning of his theme sounds very familiar and here he is!
He's not even in the ring and Owen dropkicks him. Owen is going after him hard and a splash and the kid kicks out.
reversal knocks down owen and here's the moonsault a lot of near falls from the Kid.
But Owen isn't giving up in a battle of speed. Kick to the head and a quick cover.
Owen setting up a backdrop but countered, nice bridge, but the foot was on the rope and moonsault over the top.
quick series of reversals and Savage is retiring at the table and KID GETS POWERBOMBED AND THE SHARPSHOOTER'S ON! Owen goes to the final.
Savage is plugging in the New Generation hard, if anything, The Rocket has been winning his matches legitimately.
Hot Rod stuff.
TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH:
Yokozuna and Crush vs The Headshrinkers (c)
Donovan sees Yokozuna and is marking out like crazy over his weight.
Lou Albano is with the Headshrinkers and Afa, so they're faces.
The teams are now brawling and the headshrinkers are beating on each other and everyone's got a hard head! Everyone's headbutting each other.
The challengers are somewhat dazed, piledriver on Crush.
BIG HEADBUTT INCOMING, not enough. and the Headshrinkers are on the receiving end of a piledriver and here's a drop toe hold and Yokozuna drops his leg on him.
I think that's Fatu in the ring, and Crush is working on that trapezius.
WHOA, EVERYONE'S DOWN AND THE CROWD IS CHANTING USA!
Powerslam and Yoko jumps into the ring, but gets clotheslined to the floor, all four men in the ring and Yokozuna, who onced looked so indestructable a while ago, is now being made to look foolish by the headshrinkers.
Superplex is coming up and Crush gets it, he's not going for the pin, legdrop instead and Yokozuna with a legdrop of his own.
LEX LUGER IS COMING OUT TO THE RING! Crush is the reason as to why Luger isn't on the card, rollup and Crush nearly got pinned there.
Donovan: Who's the fella in the american flag.
Headshrinkers pick up the win and now Crush is getting beaten on by Luger, all out brawl in the ring.
Owen Hart vs Razor Ramon
This is not the main event, thanks Piper and Lawler.
Owen Hart starts off quick but goes down hard from a clothesline. Owen Hart is overpowered early on here.
The Rocket is now leading things off and ahere's the abdominal stretch and the Rocket using the ropes as leverage.
Owen is not letting go and Razor eventually shrugs him off.
Rocket with some flashy counters and Razor just smashes him right down the mat.
Fallaway slam and near fall, legsweep and Owen thinking moonsault, the bad guy thinking Superplex.
The Razor's Edge is coming, no backdrop. Jim The Anvil Neidhart is coming out, aww he's out to help Razor back in the ring.
OH NO, JIM NEIDHART JUST SLUGGED OWEN IN THE FACE, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? WHO'S SIDE IS HE ON?
THE ROCKET IS THE KING OF THE RING!
Both Harts are now working on Ramon and beating him down.
Two Harts have turned into complete monsters.
WE WANT BRET, WE WANT BRET!
Randy Savage has a crazy theory, Anvil ensured Bret kept the title so that Owen could challenge him for it.
Gorilla: Do you think the Anvil is that smart?
Neidhart is crowning Owen, he is now the King of Harts.
Recap of the feud between Lawler and Piper. MAIN EVENT:
Roddy Piper vs Jerry Lawler
Gorilla: This is what the New Generation is all about.
those were some looong entrances and Hot Rod is now beating up Jerry Lawler.
In fact Lawler's just running but Piper bring him back in, there's no a lot of technical wrestling on show in this main event.
I think Piper's only got a match here because of his movie.
Lawler keeps going after the kid from RAW and Lawler's doing some clobbering.
Piper is protecting the kid by taking the hits for him.
But Jerry is very insistent on attacking him. Piper is dazed and he's taking some big shots here.
Sleeper on Roddy, and I think Lawler may have slapt that sleeper on me too, because this is a very underwhelming event after the showcasing of the new generation's talents.
Piledriver from Lawler and he's not getting an ovation from the crowd here.
Piper taking a lot of hits but he's a man! More guts than Brains right now and Bulldog!
Another Bulldog and is shoved into the ref and Lawler gets something from his tights and Down goes Piper.
Lawler wit his feet on the ropes, the kid takes em out and back suplex wins it!
Bret/Owen is a fantastic match, ladder match is a fantastic match, Savage/Crush had a stipulation that could've made it good but for some reason wasn't nearly as fun as I remember. I blame the 60 second rule. Mr Perfect somehow gets the biggest push in his reffed match but that's because he's awesome whereas Lex struggles to wear t-shirts. And another Bret Hart match is always good.
The Finkel/Wippleman encounter lead to the Tuxedo match at a later date. Let's never speak of this again.
Jim Cornette is fantastic at promos.
After this, we've had 5 PPVs in the past year period. Bret Hart has wrestled in 10 matches across those 5 PPVs. That's nuts.
--
ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi...
Savage (angrily putting the pieces together after Jim Neidhart screwed Razor to give Owen the KOTR win): I got a theory! Call me crazy, call me nuts. But Im just thinking that Neidhart was out there in Brets corner, and possibly the only motive that he had, being in Brets corner, was to make sure that the Hitman didnt lose his title to Diesel. But hes hoping that the Rocket will beat the Hitman. I dont know. Gorilla: Ah, wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute, Randy Art (again with the interruption): Lemme ask a question. Did you two guys act like dat? In the ring? When you were wrestling? Gorilla (ignoring Art and not missing a beat): Do you think the Anvil is that smart, Randy? I dont. I dont. Savage (finally jumping on board the choo-choo bound for Ignore Art Donovanville): Yeah, but the Rocket might be!
Gorilla: This is what the New Generation is all about.
You have to be kidding me. He REALLY dropped that line there? ROFLMAO.
This match basically fell into main event status by default, since Bret vs. Diesel had to happen before the KotR Finals to properly tell the Neidhart story, and then you can't close the show with Owen's coronation since heels don't celebrate at the end of PPVs ever yet, except in Rumbles for some reason.
But even then as a 13-year-old semi-mark it was SOOOO BORING.
The only title change between KotR and Summerslam is the Headshrinkers dropping the Tag Titles to Shawn and Diesel. Diesel is a dual title-holder!
--
Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
And they weren't really trying to "compete" with each other's PPVs by this point.
WWF had PPVs in January, March, June, August, and November, and not coincidentally, WCW had PPVs in February, April, May, July, September, October, and December.
--
Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
The wrestling countdown features some softball, Macho Man was playing in that game.
Yes Randy Savage the guy who had enough natural talent to make it in the minor leagues and possibly go on to the majors showed up everyone.
Savage too good.
Well Lawler and Vince are out and OH GOD, YOU CAN'T EVEN READ THE NAMES.
What horrible font, like worse than lefty's aim font.
Bam Bam Bigelow and I.R.S vs The Headshrinkers
Bam Bam is still incredibly agile and he goes up to the top and misses the splash, Samu clotheslines him down.
Double team effort and the headshrinkers knocked him down.
IRS is tagged in and to no effect as he's being beaten up hard, he manages to get back into the match for a while but is swiftly dumped out of the ring.
Crowd still chanting Irwin, DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE and Bam Bam is down.
Double legsweep from the headshrinkers, BIG SPLASH and Dibiase is distracting the officials.
Afa and Bam Bam are brawling, why I don't know, but why not. Three samoans meaning a triple headbutt and Ted Dibiase is heading to the back.
IRS is still getting beaten up on, the are brawling on the way backstage.
Leslie Nielson for some reason is playing in skits looking for the Undertaker.
Razor Ramon speaking to coliseum video.
WWF WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP:
Bull Nakano vs Alundra Blayze (c)
Luna Vachon is no longer with Bam Bam huh. Some weird girlish scream can be heard from the crowd.
Bull Nakano with an initial power advantahe, dropkicks from Alundra Blayze and some more showcasing of Nakano's power.
Which is her grabing the hair and then throwing the champ around.
Bull Nakano with the legdrop, kickout at two, Blayze is stuck in a hold and she gets to the rope.
USA chants, Frankensteiner from Blayze and here's another few kicks and Bull Nakano catches her and slams her down to the mat hard!
Boston crab, ONE HANDED AS WELL! Alundra Blayze is in trouble. Champion reaches the ropes and NOW SHE'S BEING STUCK IN A SHARPS---NO WHAT THE HELL IS THIS HOLD?
Luna cheap shots the champ, ARMBAR! Bull Nakano, the woman of a thousand holds. Blayze tries a pin.
PILEDRIVER FROM BLAYZE?
Lawler: SHE'LL BREAK HER HAIR! (Nakano's)
Nakano gets the backdrop instead, Blayze with a backslide, no, POWERBOMB from Nakano, the champ is down and Nakano's going for a top rope legdrop misses and GERMAN SUPLEX she wins the match.
Legendary Running Back Walter Peyton is Ramon's equalizer to Diesel's HBK.
Thank you Perfect for gving Shawn that moniker.
Razor is still oozing his machismo and Diesel has to regroup a bit out of the ring, Diesel has the most incredible hair.
Right hands by Razor but here's the clothesline.
Ramon sent flying because Diesel in spite of his height isn't actually that slow.
Shawn and Walter look like they might fight each other, Shawn's backing off, a tactical retreat, the ref slides out to hold back Walter and Shawn uses the opportunity to cheap shot Ramon.
So far in this match, Shawn Michaels has proved to be a far better cornerman helping Diesel a lot.
But the bad guy while down is not yet out, HE'S GETTING READY FOR HIS COMEBACK AND GETS BIG BOOTED!
BIG DADDY COOL GETS HIM, NO FOOT ON THE ROPE.
This match is so far involving a lot of pain for Ramon as Diesel sticks him in an abdmoninal stretch.
BUT NOT RAZOR HAS BIG DADDY COOL IN THE STRETCH! NO! Ramon just got slammed back down to the ground, Diesel was running with Ramon on his back, but gets pushed in the uncovered turnbuckle.
Ramon is parrying Diesel's strikes and following up with great right hands and Diesel is hurting down low.
Ramon's comeback is featuring some close calls, Shawn gets decked, Razor thinking superplex, Diesel just elbows him out of the way.
Diesel thinking jacknife, Ramon just backdrops him and now the Razor's Edge has been signaled. shawn was thinking belt shot, THE RUNNING BACK STOPS HIM, REF GETS DISTRACTED AND SHAWN NAILS DIESEL WITH A KICK TO THE FACE.
the two men ringside are involved in a brawl and Ramon is able to pick up a win.
Backstage Diesel is angry he's just a tag champion and he's not happy about that.
Luger and Tatanka are backstage, apparently Lex has sold out to the Million Dollar Man.
I don't know what he sold out about.
Tatanka vs Lex Luger
A mixed reaction to Luger's entrance, I have no clue what this is all about.
Why is Luger apparently on Ted's side and why Tatanka is the one who took this personally.
Last Summerslam you were headlining this show Lex!
Tatanka is basically making a promo in the ring yelling, you sold out over and over again.
Finally they lock up, Vince apparently doesn't remember these two ever facing off against each other in the ring.
I DO! King of the ring yay! Hip toss from Lex Luger and a suplex.
Tatanka able to build some kind of momentum and a suplex of his own, he's now going up to the top and a tomahawk chop.
Luger is kicking out, but this is a very confused crowd. Another high risk ove by Tatanka, but this time it fails.
THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN HAS ARRIVED, HE'S GOT TONS OF MONEY AND TATANKA WITH THE ROLLUP AND HE GETS THE WIN!
Luger apparently never wanted the money, but Tatanka won.
Lawler: Luger's stuuupid. OH WAIT A MINUTE! THIS WAS ALL A SETUP ALL ALONG!
Tatanka was the one working for Dibiase and he uses a fallaway slam on Luger and beats on him some more.
WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT TATANKA WOULD BE THE ONE TO SELL OUT! I am shocked, in awe and appalled.
Tatanka in on this all along, like damn, who to trust now!
Country music star Jeff Jarrett going up against Hip Hop superstar Mabel, this is a culture clash contest.
Mabel mocks the strut, failed big boot and Jarrett is happy, big leapfrog and oh dear, Mabel jumped and sat on Jarrett, clothesline now.
Double J with some top rope maneuvers and he wants Mabel down. He can't get him down and he get caught, but nothing much comes of it, plenty ofstrikes from Jarrett have no effect.
Sleeper from Jarrett on Mabel, but he gets squashed in the corner. Sleeper again and this time Mabel has one knee down to the floor.
A guy walks in with a sign saying I'm on strike. I assume this has something to do with the Baseball strike.
Mabel using heel tactics and Jarrett is flat on his back, with Mabel going up top and Jarrett avoids harm.
All he has to do is cover, but no kickout with authority from Jarrett, Mabel tries to squash Double J, but he avoids it and Mabel lands on his bum while Jarrett covers him in a rollup win.
Mabel is not happy and he runs right after Jeff backstage.
Ooh, there's a steel cage match later on tonight.
holy crap Bulldog looks really different. Look at all these Harts.
I'm assuming the reason this is taking so damn long is because the cage takes forever to setup.
Apparently the Anvil is the one who's been the mastermind behind all of this.
WWF TITLE MATCH:
Owen Hart vs Bret Hart (c)
This match starts off with a bang as Owen goes in really aggressively, its still the ugly blue cage they're using.
A few nasty hits ad now an atomic dropped followed by a clothesline from the Hitman.
The King of harts knocks Bret down, both men reaching a vertical base. gets downed by a DDT.
Bret's the first to try and escape, this is an escape only cage match, Enziguri and Owen almost out and Bret holds him down.
Suplex from Bret and both men are down. Bret was goinng for the door but Owen held the leg.
Bulldog and Bret's heading back to the cage and Owen drags him back an made a dash for it, the two of them are racing for the exit.
Hitman trying to get out via cage escape and now Bret's tossed back down by Owen.
Owen just has to drop to win the match, but Bret's holding him by his head and pulls him back in, they are now slugging away at each other.
Bret loses his balance and falls down and a top rope dropkick stun Bret, kip up and Owen launches himself at the cage.
His brother is pulling away at anything he can, the two are dangling at the top of the cage.
The cage keeps tilting and they're back at it. Owen's hammering away and sets up for maybe a piledriver, but backbodydrop ends that thought.
Two guys knock each other down and who's going to get up first?
Owen is making a dash at the door, but Bret has him, Champion goes up top, Owen chases but gets kicked in the face.
Owen just pulls away and Bret's knee is blown.
While bret is down, his brother is trying to escape, but his ankle is held down and SHARPSHOOTER POSSIBLY? No he headbutts.
This time its the champ going up top and he tries to get a move on Owen who avoids it.
Now its Owen's turn again and he's close, but his kneepad is grabbed by the champion, OWEN JUST NEEDS TO DROP, HIS LEGS ARE DANGLING, BUT BRET IS PULLING HIM BACK IN BY THEHAIR.
the king of harts does much of the same to his brother and a suplex, both men are down.
OWEN IS EVEN CLOSER THAN BEFORE AND BRET MAKES ONE AST DESPERATE LAUNCH HE GETS HIM BACK IN AND NOW THEY BOTH CRASH INTO THE CAGE.
THE WWF CHAMPION S MAKING HIS WAY OVER THE TOP. BUT OWEN IS GRABBING, ANYTHING, WHATEVER HIS HANDS REACH AND GETS HIM BACK IN, Suplex off the top rope.
PILEDRIVER, FROM OWEN, THIS IS IT! OWEN'S ONE BIG CHANCE! Is Bret playing possum? NO HE APPEARS TO BE DOWN HE'S WATCHING OWEN CLIMB UP AND HE GRABS THE LEG!
Here's a string of right hands and now Owen is free NO, HE LOSES HIS BALANCE AND DROPS TO THE GROUND.
BRET CRAWLING TO THE EXIT AND OWEN IS HOLDING ON, BRET KEEPS KICKING AWAY AT THE FACE!
DRAGGED BACK IN AND HE'S STRIKING AWAY AND TRYING TO GET BACK IN! BOTH OF THEM ARE JUST UNLOADING WHILE ON THEIR BACKS!
OWEN IS PULLED BACK IN AND SLINGSHOT TO THE STEEL CAGE.
The crowd is going nuts, people in the audience are clapping. Bret gets to the wrong corner and OWEN LAUNCHES HIMSELF TO SAVE THE MATCH, HE WANTS THAT WORLD TITLE!
Right into the turnbuckle.
Bret and his brother Owen, but he gets whacked right into the middle of the cage.
Owen is down, Bret has no more knee, he's climbing, he's still climbing, but Owen can't stop his brother, HE'S DESPERATE, HE'S GOT THE HAIR AND BRET IS UPSIDE DOWN!
AND OWEN KICKS BRET IN THE FACE, HE'S DOWN! WHAT CAN THE CHALLENGER DO? HE'S THINKING OF CLIMBING, SLOWLY BUT SURELY HE'S MAKING IT!
HIS BROTHER STOPS HIM AND THE MATCH IS STILL CLOSE! They are on the top rope standing whacking away at each other and the cage is moving around, OWEN LOSES HIS BALANCE AND NOW BRET IS CLIMBING BACK UP, BUT SOMEHOW OWEN WAS CAPABLE OF PULLING HIM BACK INTO THE RING.
NOW OWEN IS DOWN. HE'S GOT A BIG HEADSTART AND BRET CAN STILL REACH HIM AND SUPERPLEXES HIM FROM THE TOP, THE FAMILY IS AGHAST!
THE CAGE DOOR IS OPEN AND BRET CRAWLS, EVER SO SLOWLY AND OWEN HAS ONE LEG HE PULLS HIM BACK IN AND NOW HE'S GOING FOR THE SHARPSHOOTER, HE YELLS THAT HE'S GOING TO BREAK BRET'S LEGS.
BUT BRET REVERSES AND GETS THE SHARPSHOOTER LOCKED IN AND BOTH MEN'S LEGS ARE HURTING! Bret is climbing, HE'S THERE JUST NEEDS TO DROP AND ONE LAST LUNGE FROM OWEN, BOTH MEN FALL!
Neither man is willing to give up, Owen hart trying to make his way out but Bret is again on him, Owen's out, but so is Bret, both men are out OWEN'S LEG IS TRAPPED AND BRET DROPS DOWN SAFELY TO VICTORY.
BULLDOG AND HIS WIFE ARE CLOTHESLINED FROM BEHIND BY JIM THE ANVIL!
Anvil gets Bret in the cage and locks it, meanwhile Owen keeps beating up on Bret. The whole Hart clan is trying to climb into the cage while Owen kicks em out.
This is one heck of a family feud and Bulldog takes off his shirt and starts climbing up top and he's hammering away at Owen.
The rest of the Harts are in and Owen escapes and so does Jim and they escape.
So after this, who wants some Undertaker vs Underfaker MAIN EVENT:
The Undertaker vs The Undertaker
Well, so far Ted Dibiase is two for two. I think what makes this feud really fall flat is that we get TWO Undertaker entrances.
Not only that, but we get the theme three damn times! I was able to have dinner several times over.
One undertaker is noticeable shorter. Paul Bearer's Undertaker is dominating the fight. But the other Taker still gets some offense in.
Though the real taker is generally in control. The crowd though is just confused.
Tombstone from the fake undertaker. Now the Real Taker does a Tombstone and now he gives him another one.
Oh look a third one. This match is mercifully over.
A lot of people say that the cage match was better than the Wrestlemania match. I disagree. Your thoughts?
The only title change between Summerslam and Survivor Series was Bull Nakano beating Alundra Blayze for the Women's Title just a couple days before SVS at a big show in Japan.
Bret/Razor/Shawn&Diesel/Nakano your champs.
--
Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
OH god the Audio on this vid is so bad, Gorilla and Vince looking to be the possible announce team.
We're going to get quite the match for the title and huh, Chuck Norris is on duty for tonight.
Diesel music!
Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Double J, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart vs Razor Ramon, British Bulldog, 1-2-3 Kid, The Headshrinkers
Go team Heel! 1-2-3 Kid trying to kickstart things, but nobody wants to face him, so Owen Hart starts things off.
Jim Neidhart geets in and he's still crazy. Double J with the hard right hands, they don't like each other at all.
New look for the Shrinkers, Jarrett is getting beaten up but he counters from the corner, incoming attack from the top, kickout.
Owen Hart is tagged in, they're in San Antonio huh. Davey Boy Smith vs Owen Hart.
Hammerlock and Wristlocks are keeping Owen in check, but he goes for a dropkick and is slingshootted into the corner of the faces.
Owen's in deep trouble here. The Hart family keeps imploding as Davey beats on both the Rocket and the Anvil.
Fatu with a big powerslam, Razor Ramon incoming and Jeff Jarrett doesn't want to face him, but Shawn tells him to.
Double J is making sure he infuriates Razor and now we're looking at oh dear, Diesel vs Ramon maybe?
The ref is counting out someone, Double J back in the ring, here comes the 1-2-3 kid Ramon uses the fallaway slam on 1-2-3 kid who lands right on Jarrett.
Abdominal stretch by the heel and he's far from his corner. 1-2-3 Kid tags in Fatu and Owen Hart is in there.
Was that some dancing by Fatu? DDT by Owen he celebrates and gets a kick to the face, but Diesel was tagged in and uses the pwoerbomb to eliminate him, 1-2-3 kid using his speed to try and catch Diesel out.
But the second he gets caught its over, second jacknife eliminates the kid, Samu is going right after Diesel now ANOTHER JACKNIFE and there goes the second headshrinker.Davey Boy Smith is a muscle man surely he won't get beaten up, but Diesel sends a huge big boot to his face.
RAMON WITH THE ROLLUP FROM BEHIND, doesn't get him looks like Bulldog was counted out. We're looking at a five vs one scenario here. But Diesel is dazed, Ramon after much difficulty puts him down and now goes for the Razor's Edge and no! Backdrop!
Michaels is tagged in and wants Diesel back in to hold up Razor. KICK TO DIESEL'S FACE! MICHAELS MISSES FOR THE THIRD TIME.
Diesel has finally had enough he just wants to bulldoze over Shawn Michaels. Ref still counting, I'm assuming the entire team is getting counted out.
Razor looks to have won the 1 vs 5 via countout.
Shawn trying to leave the building he's got his bags, he doesn't want Diesel on him.
Jerry Lawler, Sleazy, Queasy, Cheesy vs Doink, Dink, Wink, Pink.
Six people I really couldn't find myself to care about for now, they could be magicians in the ring, but being named SLeazy or Wink like damnit.
Oh did I mention that six guys in the ring are midgets. Doink and Lawler start things off and lock up, big boot and an Enziguri from Doink. Lawler is being mocked.
Comedy match isn't too funny for the crowd, this seems to be getting bad heat. But Doink using a series of bodyslams andthe midgets are runniing all over Lawler.
Lawler is now the Burger King and he's snapping while Doink laughs. Big Burger King chant.
Vince is laughing a lot here, King is furious, we don't know who the legal men are, but we're back to Lawler vs Doink.
Lawler manages to get control of the match, but a reversal from Doink has the king crashing into his own team.
mayhem and a flying crossbody from Doink, reversal and the big clow is eliminated.
Goatee pulling and uh I don't know, we're getting midget wrestling here. I think Wink just got eliminated.
Pink is eliminated but slides under the ring. Dink gets pinned after some ref distractions, the mini clowns are under the ring.
Six against one as all the midgets chase after Lawler.
Blayze lost the title in Japan.
WWF TITLE MATCH:
SUBMISSON MATCH
Bret Hart (c) vs Bob Backlund
The men in the corners are Davey Boy and Owen Hart
Towels must be thrown in for the match the end. Right from the get go a slam and Backlund's out.
Aged 44 what can the former champion do, he's overselling pretty well!
Bret drives in an Elbow and headlock on backlund. Reverse chinlock, according to polls 79% of people think the Crossface chickenwing is more lethal than the sharpshooter.
Backlund almost had the Crossface but Bret escapes and now a few holds reversals. Belly to Belly suplex from Bret and Backlund escapes from the sharpshooter and we're now looking at an abdominal strech.
Hip toss gets rid of the champ, Backlund working on the arm. Kip up and Bret escapes from Backlund, but both men hurt each other with a headbutt. Backlund's going crazy!
Neckbreaker and Backlund's slowly fading, forearm from him, Sharpshooter attempts fail, so Bret goes for the Figure four.
Backlund in deep trouble, is he looking for the towel? Owen refuses to throw in the towel.
Challenger turns and reverses the hold but we get another reversal and it gets broken up via rope.
Bret back to working on the legs, Backlund's collapsing. Bret pretty much just has to use the Sharpshooter at this stage to win the match.
Bret's fallen to the ground though and Bob Backlund going for the piledriver and he delivers!
Backlund using his head and just rams it against Bret and here's a neckbreaker. Bob Backlund is doing all he can and BACKDROP from Bret.
A sleeper from Bob Backlund, but Bret carries him to the ringpost.
BRET WITH A PILEDRIVER OF HIS OWN, lights out for the former champ, Bulldog wipes now! Hitman with the neckbreaker. HERE'S THE SHARPSHOOTER, OWEN THINKING OF GETTING IN THERE BUT THE BRITISH BULLDOG CHASES AND OWEN HITS BRET FROM BEHIND.
Owen now trips Davey Boy who knocks himself out and Backlund now has Bret in a precarious position. Just a little bit more and Owen's just realized, now that Davey boy is out cold he can't throw the towel in.
What is Owen doing, he appears distraught over the fate of Davey Boy, meanwhile Hitman is fading fast.
Owen shouting Nooo! Backlund has a crazed look on his face as he tries to make Bret surrender.
Nobody knows, is Owen trying to trick everyone again or is he genuinely concerned with the fate of his brother. Man Davey really knocked himself out for a while.
Bret is starting to faint, Owen is trying to get his parents to throw in the towel, he's gotta be tricking them, Stu hart takes the towel away.
Is this the record amount of time someone's been locked in a submission hold for the WWF?
THE TOWEL HAS BEEN THROWN IN! Owen has tricked everyone again and now BOB BACKLUND IS CHAMPION AGAIN!
Man, that is some cray heat for Bob Backlund. The Champion of the New Generation ,BOB BACKLUND!
This was all a setup and Owen is gloating!
Tatanka, Bam Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy, The Heavenly Bodies vs Lex Luger, Mabel, Adam Bomb, The Smoking Guns.
Lex Luger and Tatanka are kickstarting things and Tatanka is very aggressive on Luger. The chops aren't working at all, suplex knocks down Luger and here are the clotheslines and Tatanka keeps dropping down to the floor.
Mabel and King Kong Bundy might square off but Bundy wants none of him. Pritchard vs whoop there it is!
Look at this large man get in there and squashing the corporation. One half of the heavenly bodies has already gotten squashed out of the building and now we have Mabel vs Bundy.
Down goes Bundy. Maybe Bam Bam will have better luck? Nope. Bam Bam is at least able to toss Mabel from the top rope and he goes for the sunset but Mabel just decides to sit on him.
Clothesline and both men go out of the ring and Mabel gets counted out. Billy Gunn and Del Rey have a bit of a reversal fest. Now Bam Bam and Adam Bomb are fighting each other.Bundy clotheslines him from behind and a moonsault by Bam Bam eliminates Bomb and Luger went in for a rollup and failed.
Kick to the head from Del Rey. But Luger gets a big move in and gets the cover now we're on Tatanka vs Bart Gunn and some double team moves for Tatanka. Gorilla cares more about the Owen/Bret feud. Billy Gunn doesn't cover Tatanka he wants Bart to finish him off.
But Hey Tatanka doesn't job to no mere tag teams and he proceeds to wittle down Guts and Glory to 3 members as Bart gets eliminated. Lex Luger now going hard on the Native America and Billy has him in a wristlock, he's pulling on that arm like his life depended on it.
Ted Bibiase is overjoyed because now we're down to Made in the USA all by himself and King Kong Bundy hammering away on lex luger. Bad officiating, but Suplex from Bam Bam and it is still 3 vs 1.
Tatanka is just kicking away at poor old Lex, Bam Bam now joins the party.
Headbutt on Luger but this match still ain't over yet, the longer this goes on the less time for Yokozuna vs Undertaker with Chuck Norris.
Bundy dropping the elbow on Luger and a few more kicks and forearms, Luger now resting on the ropes, he's in the heel corner. Tatanka with the powerslam and Luger will not give up! America is greater than the power of money!
LUGER ELIMINATES TATANKA, but Bundy gets a quick win over him . The Million Dollar Man is overjoyed with this win!
Post match beatdown for Luger.
Bob Backlund crazy promo, he can switch between cartoony evil to badass evil at the drop of a hat, what versatility.
Woooo Chuck Norris MAIN EVENT:
Yokozuna vs The Undertaker
Chuck Norris the ultimate enforcer. The unearthly one has arrived. This has to be one of the longest Undertaker entrances to date.
Yokozuna is already on the casket, he fears it so much, what can he do though? His face gets rammed right into the steel steps, The Undertaker keeps stalking him,
What kind of trickery will they have to shift the momentum. The undertaker walks the ropes and hits Yokozuna, BUT A FALLAWAY SLAM FROM MIDAIR BY YOKOZUNA, Undertaker gets up.
Yokozuna tries very hard to put the Undertaker inside that casket but Taker just drops him on the ropes and Yoko is stunned and falls on his back in the center of the ring.
Taker misses with a move but gets up only to be sent back down. Undertaker is in the casket and now so is Yokozuna, they are both fighting in there but the managers start to get involved. Cornette gives us a lovely face while on the ground.
Yokozuna is in the ring looking down on the undertaker who is trying to get back in the ring.
Headbutts in the corner of the ring and The undertaker has stopped going down, he's striking Yokozuna in the face, clothesline now but the big man's still standing.
Not anymore as a forearm sends Yoko to the ground. Some wrestlers are coming in from the back, but Chuck Norris stands there in front of the casket, THERE'S IRS!
Norris has Bundy and Bam Bam in check, meanwhile IRS applies the sleeper and tosses Undertaker inside the casket. Yoko reaching for the casket lid, he's got it, but the Undertaker's hand is on him.
Double J is coming down and gets kicked to the face by Chuck Norris.
BIG BOOT TO YOKOZUNA'S FACE, UNDERTAKER SNAPS THE FLAG AND THROWS IT INSIDE THE CASKET AND NOW SHUTS THE LID!
And to think there are a lot of newer fans who think Bret Hart is overrated. Voltch says he was #1 for like half a decade!
Diesel and Shawn vacated the Tag Titles after this blowup. The tournament finals to crown new Champions will take place at the Royal Rumble.
The only other title change is a big one. 3 days after winning the title from Bret, in only his second defense, this happened at Madison Square Garden:
Needless to say that was quite the stunning bit of news when we all tuned into Raw the next Monday.
--
Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
Something else interesting at this point, considering who gets the title shot at the Rumble:
Until this point, there has been only one 3-time WWF Champion. Hogan accomplished that at Wrestlemania VII, and then went on to become (at this point) a 5-time WWF Champion. Unheard of!
There are a handful of 2-time WWF Champions though. Bruno Sammartino, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Yokozuna, Bret Hart, and now Bob Backlund. 3 is still quite a special barrier.

Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
Pamela Anderson is being hyped as the chick to oh this is a countdown shown, fffff, skipping time zone.
Pamela Anderson arrives and Mabel and Doink are very anxious to meet her!
So we're in tampa florida and uh welcoming us are Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler.
INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH:
Jeff Jarrett vs Razor Ramon (c)
Double J is just as fast as Razor Ramon apparently, now look out for the champ's mean streak.
The Bad guy is keeping his distance, is he preparing to launch himself?
No Armdrag takedown from Ramon, the announcers telling us Double J is using wrestling to further his music career.
Takedown by Double J and he's messing around with Ramon. Why on earth you antagonize hin!
A pair of clotheslines send Jarrett over the top rope. He's now drinking some water and posing.
Plenty of taunts but now Ramon is attacking his opponent, ducked clothesline, three dropkicks by Double J.
Backslide from the champ, not enough and Jarrett has a cover of his own, reversalls and a dropkick, The Roadie is angry at ringside.
Hit to the jaw and sleeper on Ramon. Neckbreaker, the more I watch this, the more It looks like Jeff Jarrett is doing all the work here.
Is Razor Ramon already dealing with his personal demons? Ramon from the top and only a two count. Jarrett sidesteps and tosses out Ramon who's staggering outsie the ring.
Jeff Jarrett wins by countout.
INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH:
Jeff Jarrett vs Razor Ramon (c)
Almost over from the get go but the small packages from Razor are failing. Jarrett is focusing on the leg and yeah, what the hell, Ramon is totally sluggish compared to usual.
Figure four leglock from Jarrett on Razor Ramon. But hey he's doing his best to turn around. The hold gets broken after Razor punches aways at Jarrett's face. Double J is being setup for a superplex, those never end matches!
Clothesline from the bad guy who now signals the Razor's edge. He trips and lets Jarrett go allowing for a rollup. We have a new intercontinental champion.
I should feel bad that you're dealing with the entirety of WWF 1995 PPVs while I (thankfully) only had to deal with three months of that year. Then I realized that I saw a Sumo Monster Truck match, The Giant thrown off a building and being completely fine a few minutes later, Luger/Meng in a near 15 minute match that ended in a DQ, Savage squashing Brutus the Zodiac Man with No Disciples and later Luger in one night, and a mummy (named after a creature that doesn't exist and later became a Ninja) hump Hogan. And that was all on one PPV.
So consider yourself.. Lucky?

Hell, I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.. My WCW watchfest topic Part II: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/59893341
IRWIN FROM BEHIND! IRS is relying on his very good speed to avoid any direct confrontation with the Undertaker.
But will Hit and run tactics work? He gets a few good shots in on the undertaker, BUT A BIG BOOOT KNOCKS HIM DOWN!
Irwin trips to the back and now he's got undertaker right in front of him, this could get ugly and Taker takes the tie and tosses him around.
Ted Dibiase has brought the druids around, who are the druids?
This lets IRS take over the match and he's stomping on the undertaker, the druids are attacking him, ref can't see anything.
IRS with the abdominal stretch. A lot of strength from the Undertaker as he keeps rising back up.
Elbow and a flying clothesline from IRS, elbow drop, two of them, will we see another one?
IRS MSSES A SPLASH as Undertaker is back up and now both men have gone down.
Lawler keeps complaining about the Urn, a druid puts IRS on taker, he kicks out though and now Taker is fighting off all the druids.
IRS misses a clothesline and down he goes chokeslam! which ends the match!
King Kong Bundy has now arrived, I think we got ourselves the setup for a mania feud! IRS stole the Urn and now Bundy is dominating the Undertaker.
Bret Hart is backstage and he wants his title back, they all do!
WWF TITLE MATCH:
Bret Hart vs Diesel
Everyone here has won all three titles, but Diesel has made it all inside one year! Talk about a megapush.
Well here we start with a fistbump? Lawler's royal prediction says Bret will emerge as the victor.Waistlock from the start, holds will be hard as Diesel is tall enough to get to the ropes from anywhere. Slugfest, Bret is bodyslammed.
Bret goes over the top and to the outside. Bret is losing a lot of momentum, but he catches the leg and he's already working on it. No wonder Diesel's legs are so fragile, everyone keeps working on them during matches.
Figure four leglock is already giving Diesel a whole lot of pain. Diesel is still close to the ropes though and he gets there, Bret's not releasing, HE HAS TLL FIVE!
He goes right back after the legs. Another figure four leglock. Diesel's shoulder keep going all over the mat.
But he's able to drag himself back to the ropes. Bret is using the full count here. Bret is hammering away and right into the ringpost, but now Diesel was able to just toss the hitman into the steps.
Diesel s very mad now, he wants to hurt the hitman bad. Bret falls to the mat and Diesel picks him back up so he can beat on him some more.
Some more slugging by the champion, here comes the power- NO HE'S TRYING TO MAKE THE HITMAN SUBMIT INSTEAD! But Bret is doing hs very best to escape and he does! BRET TAKES A BIG BOOT TO THE FACE! Elbow drop and a cover.
Kick to the face from Diesel and Big Daddy Cool is down after Bret lunged himself at him. Top rope move from bret is countered as Diesel just picks him up and Bret escapes.
Ref frees up Diesel and bulldog followed by a neckbreaker, Bret Hart displays a lot of tenacity and elbow from the top and Diesel gets to the ropes.
Clothesline sends Diesel over the top rope and bret jumps over but gets caught.
Hitman is motionless and Diesel is signaling for the Jacknife, here it comes and there it lands, the count BUT WHAT! SHAWN MICHAELS IS IN THE RING! HE'S ASSAULTING DIESEL!
Are we getting a disqualification finish? No Hebner rules that this match must continue. Both men are getting up.
Vince: Keep Wrestling!
Bret is back to working on the left leg.
The WWF title might go back to Bret again as he's got another Figure four leglock.
Bret is trying to bend Diesel's leg using the rope. His ribs are hurting now though and big elbows and knees by Diesel.
Gutwrench suplex and both men are down. This match is not pretty at all!
Missed big boot! Bret going for the ringpost again. HE'S NOW USING A CHAIR!
To attack that leg, but Hebner's not DQing him, fans starting to boo Bret.
SHARPSHOOTER! OWEN HART HART RUNS IN, BRET'S THROAT RIGHT INTO THE EXPOSED TURNBUCKLE!
Will the official DQ Diesel this time? NOPE, IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS SECRETLY A NO DQ MATCH!
DIESEL COVERS BRET AND HITMAN'S SHOULDER GOES UP! Diesel and the Hitman are still going at it, why this match is going to last longer than the Royal Rumble match!
Hitman keeps slugging away at Diesel, but Diesel is back up and now a series of forearms. Bret is now just hanging upside down by the rope.
Diesel jumps out and hurts his knee in the process, Diesel goes for the chair and Hitman goes back down favoring the knee, is he playng possum?
SMALL PACKAGE! He WAS playing possum and WOW, the official is down and NOW LOOK AT THIS, HBK IS BEATING UP DIESEL AND SO IS JARRETT AN THE ROADIE!
MEANWHILE OWEN AND BACKLUND ARE ATTACKING BRET!
This match is a draw! CROSSFACE CHICKENWING ON HART AND NOW MICHAELS ESCAPES! Diesel is now superpowered and has knocked down everyone even the roadie.
Diesel just saved the hitman. Diesel is now helping Bret back to his feet.
Handshake and a hug with some raised arms.
Pamela Anderson is naked
1-2-3 Kid and Sparkplug vs Tatanka and Bam Bam
Hey thats no tame racing driver, this man is clearly the legend known as Bob Holly.
A series of dropkicks from Bob Holly. Bam Bam and the kid fighting but Bam Bam is just as agile!
Kid soon finds himself in trouble as he can't beat a guy who has size on him if he's just as fast.
The corporation's members are just manhandling Holly and Kid for now.
A bunch of slams on Holly and now a POWERSLAM! Kid went to break the pin, BUT HE MISSED AND HIT HIS OWN PARTNER!
Tatanka now misses and nails Bam Bam. Sunset flip attempt and Bam Bam tells bob to forget about it.
Dropkick and a cover, followed by another. Plenty of jumping up and down from the kid.
Bam Bam thinks he can also moonsault, some miscommunication from Tatanka and Bam Bam leading to the beats from the east getting knocked out and the 1-2-3 kid picks up a fluke win!
Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam Bigelow confrontation.
#1 HOT DAMN, THINGS JUST GOT EXCITING! Shawn Michaels has just drawn the first entry number!
Who is #2? Holy hot damn WE'RE SEEING THE BRITISH BULLDOG! Two former Intercontinental champions here!
Backdrop from the Bulldog and already from the get go Shawn's in deep trouble.
#3 is Eli, I have no idea who this dude is, but come on Davey Boy throw out Eli!
#4 is out already and it's Duke The Dumpster, apparently for this rumble they are scared of having Pamela Anderson sit down for 60 minutes.
Everyone will be out already by the 30 minute mark! #5 is Jimmy Del Rey.
Currently nobody has been eliminated and Michaels is on the verge of going over. #6 is one of the headshrinkers, the one that's not Fatu and Jimmy Del Rey is out.
The wrestlers are just kinda standing there in the ring, Tom Pritchard hits the ring at #7.
#8 is already out and it's Doink, the timer for now really is 60 seconds.
Everyone's in the corners, Shawn aside, nobody is actually doing much of anything, no signature moves and #9 comes out already.
Kwang is racing down and everyone is sort of just standing there in the ring. #11 Rick Martel the model. He's already in his seventh Royal Rumble.
Shawn has been nearly eliminated several times already but has managed to escape from several guys. #12 Owen Hart, but OH GOD, BRET HART RUNS IN AND STARTS BEATING UP OWEN! Bret has snapped, Owen cost him the belt against Backlund and Owen cost him his chance against Diesel.
#13 runs in but he's already out and Bulldog is sorta just tossing out everyone, even Doink. #14 is a Bushwhacker who's already out. So we're down to Michaels and Bulldog.
#15 is Jacob and uh he Clotheslined Michaels and is already out after Michaels backdrops him.
#16 is King Kong Bundy and he's working on Bulldog, now why would Shawn attack him.
#17 its Mo, well he's already out of there. Can Bulldog slam Bundy? Nope.
#18 might stay a while, Mabel against Bundy, shoving match, old school agains new school, who are the best types of fat wrestlers?
#19 its Butch from the Bushwhackers and Bundy's out of there, Butch strikes Shawn Michaels and now he's out.
#20 OH MY GAWD MADE IN THE USA! LEX LUGER ELIMINATES MABEL! Luger is trying to eliminate Shawn Michaels.
#21 is Mantaur, god what is with the quality of workers on this show.
#22 Aldo Montoya, the hits just keep coming.
#23 Henry Godwin, augh, why, the roster has got to be incredibly thin for the ring to include all these guys.
#24 Billy Gunn, right now in the ring we have three guys worthy of a title shot against Diesel, Davey Boy, Lex Luger and Michaels.
#25 is Bart Gunn, what are the odds! The ring is filled with the best wrestlers of the new generation!
#26 OH LOOK, MR BOB BACKLUND! BUT WHAT IS THIS, BRET HART HAS ARRIVED! Bret Hart is just assaulting Bob Backlund, "you attack me after my match? I kill you dead!"
#27 is Harvey Wippleman with a client and uh, I doooon't know who this is¬ But Backlund has been eliminated by Lex Luger.
Meanwhile Bret and Backlund are still combating outside the ring,
#28 Dick Murdoch? THE NEEEEW GENERATION! Goddamnit 1995 has just started and I already hate it!
#28 is Adam Bomb, this might be #30 actually, I don't know I always lose track, but NOTHING'S HAPPENING!
#29 Fatu is running in and here goes Mantaur and Shawn's still in, he's only lasted 30 minutes!
#30 the final entrant hey look Crush! We totally forgot of his existence! He eliminates the smoking guns, someone else was sent flying, I no longer caaare!
We're about to go down to a final four that will include either Murdoch, Crush or Henri Godwin.
Dick Murdoch spins himself out of the royal rumble. Luger and Davey Boy form an alliance.
We are down to the final four already and this is the only time I get to care since all four guys are over.
Yeah even pineapple head Crush! BUT LEX LUGER IS ELIMINATED!
Michaels and Crush have formed an alliance to eliminate Michael.
Crush turns on michaels and Davey Boy eliminates him and now HBK is in deep trouble.
CLOTHESLINE AND MICHAELS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED, THE BULLDOG'S MUSIC IS PLAYING HE MUST HAVE WON BUT WHAT NO HBK FROM BEHIND AND BULLDOG FALLS OUTSIDE THE RING.
HBK wins one of the worst rumble of all time, but its the first ever time the #1 guy has won it all.
This is the point in time where I stopped watching weekly shows and just watched wrestling "sometimes" and didn't even see all the PPVs. So there's a few wrestlers at this point and onward that I won't recognize/know.
Dick Murdoch, you may remember him from... oh wait, you won't, I think he was last in the WWF prior to Wrestlemania 1. Why is he back now.
Michaels spent 80% of that rumble lying on top of the ropes in the corner. Every time someone new came in, he'd just jump back up there and lay down. His spot at the end was great though.
I also enjoyed seeing Bret come out twice during the Rumble.
And holy crap Mantaur why does this guy exist
--
ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi...
I'm gonna pretend to be Jakyl with info here about the belts. The two singles belts remained the same between the Rumble and the upcoming Wrestlemania. The night after the Rumble though, 123 Kid and Bob Holly lost the tag belts to The Smoking Gunns.
--
ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi...
Yeah, the Gunns were supposed to have won the tournament itself to really put them over as the new top tag team of the New Generation, but one of them got hurt going in so they just ran with the Kid/Holly underdog story and then put the belts on the Gunns ASAP after it was over.
And yeah, the 1995 talent roster is as thin as it ever gets. Although to be fair, they had 9 of the 15 most over guys in the company tied up in non-Rumble matches, and then in the Rumble itself they made Owen and Backlund non-factors.
If you go ahead and sacrifice the undercard, throw Bret, Taker, Razor, IRS, Jarrett, Bam Bam, Tatanka, Kid, and Holly into the Rumble, and let Diesel defend against Backlund or something, it could have been much better. But then the undercard would have sucked to high heaven. Decisions, decisions.

Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
^ When you say Top Ten PPVs, did you factor in WCW ones? If so, where did Halloween Havoc come in at? I'd hate to watch the show that was somehow worse than that.
--
Hell, I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.. My WCW watchfest topic Part II: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/59893341
Oh no, I said I was ranking the ten WWF PPVs, since they only had 10 that year.
And then I ranked the top ten matches ON those PPVs.
WCW was not included, although King of the Ring is IMO worse than Halloween Havoc. A show that's dull and boring and uneventful and disappointing throughout with not a single title match is worse than Havoc's over-the-top "What the hell am I watching" factor.
Havoc may offend you, and it may destroy your will to keep watching, but at least it's not boring!
--
Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
Also to be fair, I didn't start watching WCW PPVs until Uncensored 1995 (yes, the gimmick drew me in, because I was 14), so I don't think I've ever seen Superbrawl V, and then later Fall Brawl was during my Hogan/Diesel inspired month-long abandonment of pro wrestling (a story I will tell in more detail when voltch gets there), and then Starrcade (which was actually decent!) was during a period where I was away from cable.
So ranking WCW PPVs when I've never seen 3 of them would be unfair. <_<
--
Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg
The only two WCW 1995 PPVs I saw were Havoc and World War 3. I didn't see Fall Brawl at the time because I wasn't sure if I was going to watch the PPVs, and I couldn't even find Starrcade 1995 online. Which is a shame, because it has a pretty decent card.
Also, four Savio Vega matches isn't exactly what I'd call an appealing watch. Voltch, have the booze on hand.

Hell, I'm not telling you anything that you don't already know.. My WCW watchfest topic Part II: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/8-gamefaqs-contests/59893341
IRS appears to be combining his gimmick with Repo mans.
Who is Neal Anderson, I have no clue.
Vince: "THE UNDERTAKER, A MAN WHO HAS NEVER LOST AT WRESTLEMANIA!"
He's totally jynxing the Undertaker, King Kong Bundy is heavier and older and wider. How can The Undertaker defeat such a man, only advantage Undertaker has is he's got more hair.
Dibiase dropped the urn. Great displays of agility by The Undertaker. HE GOT BACK THE URN! (ref is still counting him out)
Uppercuts from The Undertaker. KAMA HAS ATTACKED BEARER TO GET THE URN! Dibiase is holding onto Kama while taker was trying to ripoff his face.
Kama wants to melt the urn and put it round his neck.
Slam by King Kong Bundy, look at that frame, so stocky. Taker your grim appearance will not be enough to defeat Bundy!
Headlock and Taker is fading.
Vince: " LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT NECK!" He has no neck though!
Big Boot from Taker and here's a bodyslam and a flying forearm AND he wins.
No Tombstone apparently.
AAAAH, ITS MONGO!
TAG-TEAM TITLE MATCH:
Owen Hart and Yokozuna vs The Smoking Guns (c)
Owen Hart struck gold with his partner and Yokozuna looking to be a tag team champion. The Smoking Guns will have their work cut out if they want to win.
Ray Rougeau and Jean Brassard prove the french commentary team.
Billy and Owen Hart start things off with and a slap right in the face of Billy.
Here's a retaliation and Bart is there, eyepoke from Owen and Yokozuna misses a clothesline but gets a bodyslam. Billy and Bart making a lot more tags and their double team moves are able to push even Yokozuna out of the ring.
legdrop from the ighty Yokozuna scrambles the brains of the guns and poor Billy's back is now making contact with the ringpost.
He's a king and they all love him. OWEN DROPKICKS YOKOZUNA, DISASTER STRIKES! Billy tags in Bart and we're getting a slam on Owen and EVEN YOKOZUNA GETS DRAGGED TO THE GROUND via hairpull!
OWEN INTERRUPTS A DOUBLE TEAM MOVE AND BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEX!
BANZAI DROP LANDS! Bart tries to stop the pin but gets thrown out of the ring, SHARPSHOOTER? NO OWEN GOES FOR A NORMAL PIN!
Owen's career has been on the up, a King of the ring a Tag team champion. What upside this an has.
There's a blimp around.
Bam Bam: "BAM BAM WILL NOT BE REMEMBERED AS THE MAN WHO LOST TO LAWRENCE TAYLOR!"
You're right, nobody remembers this mania as a whole.
