No title changes before WM. Bret/Goldust/Vacant
I was talking to voltch a minute ago and was wondering what they do in rumbles if some guy botches a spot and accidentally goes out, or if someone gets injured mid-match, namely the winner. Maybe you'd know Jakyl. Would the next to last guy generally be the backup winner just in case, or do they have an alternate plan to try and follow? Well in the era of two World Championships it has always been easy enough to have a backup winner. There was a stretch there from 2005-2010 where both the winner and the runner up both ended up in World Title matches at WM. Santino just broke that streak this year. Oddly enough I can't ever remember ANYONE getting injured during a Rumble, except on the actual elimination spot itself. -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg ... In Your House 6: Something about a cage match stipulation
I've got the pre-match whatnot and such. Todd Pettingill hyping the crowd, recaps of past events. Dark Match: Tatanka vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts Thank god everyone DiBiase manages uses his theme song, that thing's too good to be retired. Jake looks like he's wearing a pillowcase. Crowd chants "DDT" Jake mostly in control quickly. Ted trying to distract him, but Jake is keeping a good eye on both. TEN FREE HOURS OF AOL IF YOU ORDER IYH! Wow, it's not often AOL gives out free hours! Some more back and forth action, Jake breaks free of a hold, and DDT! Crowd pops ridiculously for this. Jake wins. Albino snake thrown on Tatanka. Recapping vader going nuts and beating up president Gorilla Monsoon. Now the event starts. Razor Ramon vs 123 Kid - Crybaby match Oh yeah, this is after the Kid beat up Razor with a baby bottle and a stroller. Quite the angle. I've seen this match before. Razor quickly beating up the Kid and throws him out of the ring. The Kid jumps back in and starts his own attack. After knocking down Razor, the 123 Kid points both his hands towards his crotch. Is this the first instance of this signature motion right here? Razor's gonna have none of that, he does his backwards toss and the Kid rolls out of there. DiBiase gives Razor a faceful of baby powder. Quick legdrops, drop kick, splash, Kid dishing it all out now. He even tries a sleeper. That's not gonna work. Somehow, three sleepers later, Razor is down on the ground. Razor with some counter moves, throws the Kid from the second rope. The Kid grabs more baby power, but Razor kicks his hand it ends up in the Kid's face. Razor's edge, he covers, 1, 2, and... no? One more Razor's edge, then the win. Sean Waltman in a diaper. Professional wrestling. HHH vs. Duke "The Dumpster" Droese" HHH comes out with some model. "Elizabeth Hilden" Vince says. Duke starts out in control while Lawler hits on the model. They end up out of the ring for a bit and Duke gets run into some stairs. Dumpster with a back body drop and a series of power moves. "It's time to take out the trash!" He brings the trash can in to hit HHH, but HHH grabs the lid, and smacks Duke to knock him out and win. Yokozuna has turned face. Let's see what his promos are like. Well, he's no Jim Cornette. British Bulldog vs Yokozuna Bulldog trying to go blow for blow with the giant, but he's no match apparently. Nothing the Bulldog does can phase Yokozuna. Cornette runs in the ring and starts whacking Yokozuna with his racket. Disqualified! Yokozuna's gonna beat up Cornette, but here comes Vader to fight Yokozuna! They handcuff Yokozuna to the ropes! -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... Copied to Clipboard!

Owen Hart vs Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels comes out on top of the house instead of through it, and dances on the roof. Shawn not wanting to fight, instead high fives everyone at ringside, and kisses a girl. Owen slides out and nobody high fives him. Shawn using hair pulling and other heel tactics. Both men with very acrobatic moves. Lawler claims Owen invented the camel clutch. Michaels suplexes Owen to the outside, and tries to leap on him, but Owen catches and turns it into a slam! Good match so far. Owen gets Shawn in the sharpshooter! But Shawn gets to the ropes and a surprise sunset! Owen kicks Shawn in the head, the same kick that put him out last time! But Owen doesn't want a count out, he wants a pin! MICHAELS KICKS OUT! Shawn mounts a comeback, goes for the superkick, BUT OWEN DUCKS IT! Then Shawn ducks a kick from Owen! Shawn gets the kick this time, and wins. Piper comes out to talk. Yokozuna versus Vader at Wrestlemania, anything goes. Diesel vs Bret Hart They say Bret's never lost a cage match. Diesel starts off with lots of power moves, throwing Bret into the corners and ramming him into the cage. Both guys try to run out the door a couple times, but Diesel's not being beat up enough for me to believe he can't just walk out. <_< Bret tries to climb out a couple times, but Diesel's just too tall and catches him. So Bret goes to work on that leg. Bret thrown into the corner chest first, man, he will run into that harder than anyone. Bret tries to get Diesel into a sharpshooter, but Diesel stops it with an eye poke. Crowd getting a loud DIESEL chant going. Diesel catches Bret climbing out, and punches him between the legs. Diesel sliding out towards the door, but he's... what? What in the hell? Undertaker bursts up through the middle of the ring and swallows Diesel up into the hole. A cloud of smoke comes from the hole, and Bret climbs right out. Uh. What. Guess a Diesel/Undertaker feud is coming up. Star of the PPV: Shawn Michaels -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Wrestlemania XII
Vader, British Bulldog, & Owen Hart vs Yokozuna, Ahmed Johnson, & Jake Roberts IT'S VADER TIME! The two big men start paired off, and then everyone comes in. Faces clear house. Yokozuna beating Owen until Vader comes in, then Vader knocks down the huge man. Ahmed gets a tag in, clears house. Cornette distracts the ref and Owen illegally drop kicks Ahmed. After fighting everyone, Ahmed tags in Jake. Jake sets up for the DDT, but no, Owen grabs the ropes. Bulldog tags in and has Jake down. Vader with a slam, Owen with a splash, Bulldog with a power slam, Vader with a splash. Nobody can pin Jake though. Jake finally tags in Yokozuna, who takes it to Vader. All the heels rush in, and I'm sure Vader is still the legal man in. Jake DDTs Owen and covers... but the ref is distracted! Vader makes it back to the ring, drops a Vader bomb on Jake, and covers for the win. Goldust is attracted to Piper in a short segment. Roddy Piper vs Goldust - Hollywood Backlot Brawl Piper shows up with a bat, Goldust shows up with a gold car. Piper busts the car windows. Oh no, Piper rams Goldust into the catering table! Piper grabs a firehose and starts spraying GOldust. Piper with some punches to the face, Goldust is bleeding, so is Piper's hand. Goldust escapes into his car. Piper hops in a white Ford Bronco to chase. "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs Savio Vega Oh, Austin has the Stone Cold nickname already? This is for the Million Dollar Championship, I guess. Lots of punches and brawling early on, these two hate each other. Lawler corrects me, this is a non-title match. Roddy Piper on cell phone calling in to Vince. There's a car chase. Austin took control during the call somehow, he's got Savio in an armbar. A series of near falls for both men, then "aerial footage" of Roddy Piper's white Bronco driving on the highway being chased by many cops. Hmm. Austin climbs to the top and tries to drop an elbow, but Savio gets a boot to Austin! Savio in control, tries a flying kick, and Austin ducks and the ref gets hit! DiBiase gives Austin the Million Dollar Belt and he hits Savio twice with it. Savio's out, but the ref still is too! Austin pretends to hold Vega in a sleeper, and the ref determines he's out once he finally gets over there. Crowd doesn't like this guy at all, bet they never will. HHH vs Ultimate Warrior HHH with a new lady. Her name is Sable. Fireworks everywhere for Warrior. Warrior gonna waste all his energy with this three minute entrance. HHH gets a quick setup for the pedigree and nails it, but the Warrior gets back up! Clotheslines, spear, big lift and toss, and Warrior squashes down HHH. Interview with Johnny B. Ba- I mean, Marc Mero. HHH jumps in the interview and fights him. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... Copied to Clipboard!

Diesel vs Undertaker
Both men outside a lot early. Diesel hits the stairs, and he misses hitting Undertaker with a chair. But Undertaker gets run into the steel barriers. Diesel strongly in control after some dirty outside the ring tactics. But the Undertaker gets an elbow up as both men go down. Diesel puts Taker in a bear hug, ugh, this is the worst hold. Lots of laying around frmo both, but Diesel gets the jacknife! He lets Taker get up, then another jacknife! He's just taunting the Undertaker at this point. Not a smart move, Undertaker keeps getting up. One too many times Undertaker gets up, as he gets Diesel in a chokeslam, then a tombstone, then the pin. We cut back to Goldust/Piper. They both pull up to the arena, and Piper chases Goldust and Marlena into the main ring area. Goldust beating down Piper, we keep being reminded that this is just a brawl, no refs, no rules. Then how do we know who wins? Goldust lays a kiss on Piper, and Piper snaps. A knee drop to Goldust's crotch. Piper rips Goldust's shirt and he's in women's lingerie. Marlena is embarrassed. I guess Piper wins. That was weird. Lawler was covering his eyes and he's speechless after this. Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart - Iron Man Match for the Title Recap of the stories for both men. Shawn really is deserving of the title at this point, I blame Diesel for Shawn not having it yet. Bret's a 3-time champ, second only to Hogan. Shawn's music plays, but where is Shawn? Oh, there he is, at the roof of the building. He slides all the way down on a cable. This beats the pants off of appearing on the "In Your House" house. 60 minutes, man with the most decisions wins. Fair enough. Both men lock up early, taking things slow. Bret gets a headlock applied early. A series of escapes and grabs, and we're back to the headlock. 7 minutes in, Shawn with a couple hip tosses, and an armbar. Both men trade blows in the corner, and Bret is thrown out. Bret tries to throw Shawn out, and he skins the cat. Back to submission holds, lots of these in play obviously. 14 minutes in. Bret tries to get the sharpshooter, but Shawn grabs the rope, so Shawn gets knocked outside the ring. Bret chases out, gets thrown into the timekeeper. Shawn tries a superkick, but Bret ducks and the timekeeper eats it right in the face! 19 minutes in, Shawn gets a dropkick after some running across the ring, and now he's putting Bret in holds. Bret breaks free and is pummeling Shawn in the corner, but Shawn pulls out, and throws Bret shoulder-first into the ring post. Shawn tells the camera man to "get the f*** outta my way" -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... Copied to Clipboard!

24 minutes in, Shawn gets a shoulderbreaker, double axe handle, lots of attacks to Bret's shoulder.
Bret escapes from holds, but fails to capitalize because he's so worn down. Finally, he picks up Shawn and drops him onto the ropes. Then, a slingshot to the corner. 28 minutes in, both men down! Bret finally has some momentum his way, tries some covers, a bulldog, climbs to the top and knees Shawn, but also bumps the ref! Bret gets a piledriver, Shawn must be done for sure! But he kicks out! Lawler doesn't know how someone can kick out of that. Things have really opened up here, Shawn gets a frankensteiner, but can't pin Bret. Bret also ducks away from the chin music. Michaels jumps on Bret outside, both are down! Shawn gets back in before the count, then Bret's in, and Bret reverses a splash into a cover! 2 count! Small package! 2 count! Perfectplex, 2 count! 35 minutes in, and Shawn can't beat Bret. Shawn gets Bret in the corner and runs at him, BRET FLIPS SHAWN RIGHT OVER THE CORNER! Shawn's back in, and his back is hurting. Bret attacking that back over and over. 41 minutes in and Bret drops Shawn down from the top. But only a 2 count! 44 minutes in, Bret throws Shawn to the corner, and he flips right out of the ring! Bret throws Shawn into the stairs next! Shawn's mentor at ringside gets hit as well! 47 minutes in, Shawn rolls out of the ring again, Bret launches himself onto Shawn again. As Shawn comes in, Bret tries the suplex, no reversed, no reversed again, german suplex pin, but only a 2 count! 50 minutes in, Bret puts Shawn in a camel clutch, the crowd getting antsy. Shawn finally escapes and... double clothesline, both down again. We're down to 3 minutes left, both men down again, but Shawn gets up with way more energy than Bret! Victory seems sure for him! Jump from the top rope, but can't pin! And again! It's all Shawn now, a moonsault, BUT CAN'T PIN! Bret keeps kicking out! 1 minute left! 30 seconds left and SHARPSHOOTER TIME BRET GETS IT! The clock ticks away but Shawn's not giving up! The bell rings! Bret releases the hold! The ref hands Bret the title, but Gorilla Monsoon is here. WE NEED SUDDEN DEATH OVERTIME! Bret goes right to work on Shawn, back body drop, back breaker. But Shawn hops over Bret and hits the superkick! They both get up and Shawn hits another kick, then the pin! Shawn wins the title! Star(s) of the PPV: Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels As a side note, this result pissed me off a ton back in the day. As much as I could tell Shawn was a good wrestler, he was always the one I hated the most as well, despite his face turns and various pushes. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Wrestlemania XII
The card: check knee's writeup above that last crash was baaaaad. Awesome package of Shawn Michaels and Bret. MAIN EVENT: WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH: IRON MAN MATCH: Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart (c) OH MY GOODNESS, this Shawn Michaels entrance he's got some serious style. Landing is always awkward since it takes forever to take of the necessary safety equipment. The ride itself was to a huge pop. Here comes the Hitman! To a great reception, they're using a boxing style presentation here to give this a real big time feel. Hebner meticulously explaining the rules. Shawn can only stare at the belt. Bret kisses the belt, that's never a good omen. HERE WE GO, get ready for sixty minutes of the two best wrestlers in the company. Early lockup, quick break. Mat wrestling, Shawn trying to break this up swiftly. Takedown by Shawn. This is starting really tense. Shawn holding his own against Bret right now. Reversal and takedown, Hitman is in charge, he's not letting go, man the sounds you can hear on the mat, this is a hard one. Lawler may be a heel commentator but he's always playing up the importance of this match. 55 minutes left we are still 0-0. Shawn Michaels trapped in a wristlock and down goes Bret Hart. Front facelock, this is a really cagey start. Things are now opening up, armdrag takedown by Michaels. Freddie Blasie and Stu Hart are in the crowd, that's nice. We've reached the ten minute mark. Michaels now unloading in the corner, Bret catches him and out goes Hitman. Here he falls out of the ring. Skinning of the cat and Bret is getting frustrated here. He's working on Shawn's neck slowly and methodically. Lawler says these two hate each other, Vince says they might after this match is over. Michaels working the arm, this is the first time Michaels has displayed so much skill on the mat. Nip up by bret and leapfrog by Shawn and slam by Hitman, sharpshooter attempt and quickly to the ropes. Out goes Shawn over the top. Bret all over the time keeper, THE TIMEKEEPER ATE SOME SWEET CHIN MUSIC. Back to the mat and a headlock. Both men back to a vertical base and down they go again. Timekeeper is being stretchered off. We're approaching the twenty minute mark and still no falls. Michaels with a dropkick, armdrag takedown and here's an armbar. That armbar's been on for a while and Bret's managed to get up and he's trying to step on michaels for a weird type of pin, Michaels denies him. Bret with a quick surprise exit and Michaels quickly gets back on top. Bret hammering away in the corner and oh dear god, michaels with a reversal and here goes Bret's shoulder right into the post. And oh my, Shawn swears live on PPV. Shoulder breaker by Michaels. Hammerlock slam! Right hands are rocking Michaels and DDT! Down goes Bret, ARMBAR ATTEMPT. Michaels targetting the arm. Bret Hart's in deep pain right now. But here he gets control of the match again, no momentum changes, this has been back and forth, back and forth. Bret's booting Shawn and atomic drop and clotheslines, cover kickout. RUNNING BULLDOG. OH NO THE REF IS DOWN, BRET IS DOWN, SHAWN IS DOWN. POWERSLAM BY SHAWN! Nope, no fall. After a grueling thirty minutes still nothing, BUT PILEDRIVER BY BRET AND LAWLER LOVES IT. NO, EVEN A PILEDRIVER ISN'T ENOUGH! Michaels pulls it out and he's working away on Bret. sets him up for the ride and no, Bret is stuck on the ropes, backbreaker and cover and a kickout. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... BACKSLIDE COMING UP AND MICHAELS GOES OVER, ROLLUP AND NO! thirty five minutes in and STLL no pin. SUPLEX, NOT JUST ANY SUPLEX, BUT THE PERFECTPLEX BY SHAWN! Sleeper hold by Shawn. Bret survives the first sleeper, but can he survive a second yes he can, but he's drained. To the buckle and backdrop to the outside and he may have landed on a cameraman. Heartbreak Kid might be out cold there! Michaels, your back has been introduced to the ringpost. Why would Bret stop the countout? Suplex, no a switch, reversal GERMAN SUPLEX KICKOUT! Bret has the camel clutch he hasn't relied heavily on the sharpshooter whatsoever. MICHAELS GOING UP DOUBLE AXE, PIN ATTEMPT, KICKOUT BY BRET! INSIDE THREE MINUTES! SUPLEX BY SHAWN! FLYING ELBOW, THAT IS STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH! WE'VE ONLY GOT TWO MINUTES LEFT! BOOT TO THE MIDSECTION AND HERE'S THE GUTWRENCH! MOONSAULT AND BRET STILL KICKS OUT! Unbelievable, Bret just trying to survive and Shawn with a hurricanerana, ONE MINUTE LEFT AND MICHAELS FALLS DOWN WITH CRAMP, BRET'S FLAT ON HIS BACK! WE'RE DOWN TO 40 SECONDS! SHARPSHOOTER ATTEMPT! HE GOT HIM HE'S GOT HIM AND THERE'S ONLY 20 SECONDS LEFT! LAWLER'S DECLARING BRET THE CHAMP AND THE COUNT IS OUT! BUT DID MICHAELS GIVE UP? Monsoon coming out Bret walks away with the belt. MONSOON HAS ORDERED THE MATCH TO CONTINUE UNDER SUDDEN DEATH RULES! Michaels is dying here and Bret is really angry and he;s beating down HARD on Shawn. Oh it was Piper's decision. OH MY GAWD A SWEET CHIN MUSIC AND DOWN GOES BRET! The champ is the one getting up first. no Bret is rocked and can't get to his feet, TUNING UP THE BAND AND HERE IT COMES AND SHAWN WINS! OUR NEW CHAMPION! THE HEARTBREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS! Michaels tells the ref to tell Bret to get the **** out of his ring. Bret looks really angry and has totally stopped selling the after effects of the match. Vince: "The boyhood dream has come true for Shawn Michaels!" In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies.
Free for all, time to skip. Lawler and Vince has really been growing on me as a partnership. The British Bulldog and Owen Hart vs Jake the Snake and Ahmed Johnson With Jake the Snake and Ultimate Warrior back i'm gettng a whole lotta nostalgia already. Snake everywhere! Ref is the only one man enough to stand up to Jake, Cornetee has already fainted. USA! USA! USA! AHMED JOHNSON'S ARRIVED! Owen and Jake the Snake, Owen wants no part of Jake, Bulldog jumps in, out comes Ahmed, Bulldog tags out. Poor Owen, he's being made to look like a total chump, Diana in the crowd, thank god she doesn't have an overload of makeup anymore. Jake trying to use the DDT and Owen's too quick for him. Here comes the british Bulldog, that's a much more favourable matchup, but whoops, here comes Ahmed again. Owen Hart reluctantly gets in, Ahmed wants a test of strength. Owen accepts and pays dearly for it as Ahmed employs HEEL tactics and steps on the Rocket's hand. Ahmed is spinning around punchng and stomping away. Bulldog jumps in and uses some good powermoves. Ahmed no sells everything and chokes, what a face. Uppercut by Owen Hart, press slam, no, but Owen still goes crashing down. Jake in and the crowd wants the DDT. Dropkick by Owen Hart, nice double teaming on Jake the Snake. CHOKE by Owen while the ref is distracted. Gotta keep cutting the ring off from Ahmed. Owen with the elbow all the way up top and and Jake is in trouble, but here come the elbows. SHARPSHOOTER, no, kick double team by the brothers in law. Hard right hands from Jake, but Owen puts him in a sleeper, JAKE ESCAPES and a hot tag is incoming! Bulldog comes in BUT AHMED IS IN SWINGING WILDLY LIKE A LUNATIC! Spinbuster and Davey Boy is down, Jake signals for the DDT! Jake surrenders after Bulldog wrecks his legs! OH my goodness, Ahmed Johnson has lost a match! INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Goldust vs The Ultimate Warrior Marlena smoking that cigar for all its worth. Man Warrior is smaller again, not only that but his hair has significantly changed. What hasn't changed though is his horrible wrestling skills. Those neat in ring pyros as Warrior enters the ring. He looks exhausted already, Goldust doesn't want to enter the ring, probably to give Warrior time to breath. Goldust also has a heavy on his side and he's dressed like a mafia hitman. Marlena drops her cigar, so role model to children Warrior decides to smoke evil woman's cigar. Warrior's chilling out sitting in the director's chair smoking a cigar. This is a wrestling match guys. Goldust threatens to kiss everyone in the crowd. This match has started right? Well Marlena gets her cigar back and she just smokes away. Apparently this is all Warrior playing mindgames. That cigar is trading hands a lot. Warrior now just decides to act like a jerk and shove the cigar on the back of Goldust's hand and he clotheslines Goldust who was sitting on a chair. Goldust makes a run for it losing this match via countout. Meanwhile his bodyguard just gets destroyed. OH and throughout Jerry Lawler's been doing some so bad they're good movie puns. Vader is shorter in height but he throws out Razor with incredible ease. At least this ain't Yokozuna vs Vader. headbutt and Vader's head is rocking Ramon. The Bad Guy's midsection is hurting. Cornette yelling like a maniac. Vader gets taken out, no he doesn't he just clotheslines Razor back down. Right hands by Ramon and he was setting up the Razor's edge, Vader backdrops him out of the ring, Ramon jumps backs in and hammers away till Vader drops to to the floor. Razor Ramon is now dominating harder than when Vader was in control. Cornette with the distraction, Vader from behnd, but Ramon gets to him first. Doesn't matter because Vader regains the momentum. Vader pounding away at Razor Ramon, IS IT TIME FOR A VADER BOMB??? IT'S COMING AND IT LANDS, PICTURE PERFECT, BUT RAZOR KICKS OUT! HOW ON EARTH DID RAZOR KICK OUT OF THE VADER BOMB! Hard right hands by Razor and Vader decides to drive his opponent right into the canvas. Razor hanging on the ropes and hard right by Vader. Uppercut and what is he setting up for here, oh? DDT? no Suplex? RAZOR GETS A SUPLEX! Vader is stunned and a cover, Razor gets out of it. Clothesline by Vader, armdrag by Razor, nearly gets the pin, Vader receives a boot to the jaw and BULLDOG by Razor, denied, neither man will go down for the three count. Razor though is down after running into Vader. Setting up for another Vader Bomb. But HERE COMES THE RAZOR'S EDGE, NO, HE DROPS HIM! Vader now with a slam. He's on the second rope, top rope and once again razor going for a big move and this time he's able to drop Vader. Razor is up first and signals for the Razor's Edge, backdrop and Vader sits on him and GETS THE THREE COUNT! YEEEEAAH! GO VADER! Dok Hendrix interviewing Vader. Next In Your House Vader will face yokozuna, Cornette freaks out. Oh no, the Godwin family has shown up with Hillbilly Jim. Sunny has been flashing people backstage. WWF TAG-TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Godwins vs The Body Donnas (c) Sunny, Sable and Marlena are starting to generating some interest. Double team effort already but Henry just beats up both of them. The bucket is right there. Zip in the ring, official orders him back out, Phineas beating up Skip. Phineas outsmarted and down he goes, he's in some serious trouble already. Double team action from the Donnas. Sunny cheering hard as we see a frankensteiner, Phineas focused in the corner. He's swinging away wildly, Henry is cleaning house. Sunny is distracting Phineas, HILLBILLY JIM RUNNING IN WITH THE BUCKET! She bails. THE DONNAS WIN while confusion reigns with the Godwins. The picture of Sunny right in the bucket. Phineas is slow in the head by Godwin standards apparently, IT'S NOT HIS FAULT! -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Sable and Mero are backstage, what the hell is Marc Mero's gimmick.
Man Sable looks cold as hell, they going for the cold femme fatale in contrast to Sunny's perky character. The Beast within has been unleashed? I'm guessing Daigo shows up tonight. video package of Shawn vs Diesel, they recap the relationship. This is a really good package as a piece of history, but it doesn't make me want to see a no holds barred match between the two. No reason to watch free for all when they show all the important clips and promos on the main show. MAIN EVENT: WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH: NO HOLDS BARRED MATCH: Diesel vs Shawn Michaels (c) Does Diesel have any holds worth barring? AND WE ARE GO! RIGHT OUTTA THE GET A LOT OF BLOWS BEING TRADED! Michaels is set up for the ride but he's too quick, his baseball slide keeps Diesel out of the ring AND OUT HE GOES WITH A FLYING CROSSBODY! Spanish announce table loses a boot to Shawn who uses it. Turnbuckle flip and wheee, HBK crashes into the guardrail. Michaels has proven himself as a resilient athlete, but this is Big Daddy Cool he's facing. Already Shawn is flat on his back, this is a total slaughtering by Diesel, the crowd is booing Diesel. SNAKE EYES! Diesel is in total control and now Diesel and Vince appear to look like they've got some beef. Diesel: "This is how we do it in the 90s!" Jose Lothario trying to encourage Shawn, SIDEWALK SLAM, big impact moves and HBK is totally dead. Diesel is choking the referee now. This was to take the belt and look at that, Diesel is using that leather belt wrecking the back and now choking Shawn. No holds barred! HBK is being hung. Lawler: "Hang in there Shawn!" The hanging Shawn is now being beaten up by a chair. Michaels ducks a chairshot, it bounces on the ropes and stuns Diesel, Shawn has the chair he's going to use it and low blow! Down goes Shawn. OH MY GAWD DIESEL JUST POWERBOMBED SHAWN THROUGH THE SPANISH ANNOUNCE TABLE! WE CAN'T EVEN SEE SHAWN'S COVERED BY A SEA OF MONITORS. Shawn counters by utilizing a fire extinguisher. now Shawn's on the offense! Commentary is having audio difficulty. The headset is in the middle of the ring! Time to cover him Shawn! Big Daddy Cool breaks up the momentum. Shawn Michaels is totally out of it. MICHAELS TO THE OUTSIDE FROM WAY UP TOP ELBOW! TUNING UP THE BAND! HERE IT COMES! Vince: "GIVE IT TO HIM! x5" Clothesline by Diesel and tey're using microphones for the commentary, both men to their feet, well Shawn's being clotheslned out of the ring. To the guardrail and Diesel's going to the other side oh no! He's attacking a Vachon! THE LEG, THE PROSTHETIC LEG HAS BEEN REMOVED. LOW BLOW BY SHAWN! Shawn Michaels uses the leg to strike down Diesel, HE'S TUNING UP THE BAND AGAIN! SWEET CHIN MUSIC! AND MICHAELS RETAINS! In Your House 7: Keep Your Friends Good, Your Enemies Better
Yeah, that's not the real subtitle, mine's better. Doc Hendrix hosting the Free For All preshow, not Todd. Boo. Dark Match: 123 Kid vs Marc Mero The Kid has a goatee now. He's old enough to grow facial hair?! Marc Mero comes to the ring, but doesn't have a confetti blaster today. Instead, he brings Sable along to the ring. Marc starts off with some agile moves to match the Kid, frankensteiners him out of the ring. Back in, he catches the Kid in a rollup in his legs. This guy's off to a good start in the WWF. HHH wanders down to ringside, following Sable around. Mero gets distracted outside by HHH, and the 123 Kid slide kicks right into Marc! But the Kid misses a top rope jump, and things open up again! I wish I knew the names of more high flying moves, Marc gets caught in a backbreaker setup and reverses it into a headscissors on the Kid. Maybe this has a name of its own, but I don't know it! HHH runs back in, and two guys are attacking Marc Mero! HHH lands the pedigree, and Mero wins by DQ! Interview with the Warrior. He's more coherent than normal. Then a bunch of hype and previews for tonight's matches. British Bulldog vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts Jim Cornette, Owen Hart, and Clarence Mason all come down with the Bulldog. Jake just needs to bring a snake with him. Clarence Mason has a court order not to bring the snake in the ring. Jake rips it up and unleashes the snake. The ref makes him take the snake back anyway, so Jake does and returns with Ahmed Johnson. It's now a tag matchup? British Bulldog & Owen Hart vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts & Ahmed Johnson Bulldog doesn't want to be in the ring with Ahmed, but neither does Owen. Ahmed has a broken thumb, and a cast over his hand. Jake back in, tries to set up a DDT, but Owen won't let him. Bulldog tagged in, Ahmed too, so Bulldog runs back and tags Owen in again. Bulldog back in, hitting a downed Ahmed, but Ahmed no sells everything. Jake back in, long face in peril segment. Hot tag for Ahmed when the Bulldog is in. This guy does not want to face Ahmed. But Bulldog gets hit in the legs many times with Cornette's racket, then put in a submission move in the ring. He gives up quicker than expected. Goldust vs Ultiamte Warrior For some reason, Goldust comes out first instead of the challenger. Some huge guy in a suit comes to the ring with Goldust and Marlena. Warrior gets Marlena's cigar and smokes it. Uh, okay. This guy's a good role model for kids. Goldust and Marlena were running back to the dressing room, but stop. Warrior sits in the director's chair. It's been four minutes and no wrestling yet. Goldust gets all his stuff back, and the first blow is landed over 7 minutes after the bell rang. Oh, after the one clothesline, Goldust runs again, and gets counted out. The big guy in a suit tries fighting Warrior, he no sells everything, immediately pumps up and does the usual routine. Warrior's music plays. This match gets somewhere between zero stars and total dud. Reading up, the big guy used to play the character of Mantaur. I guess this is a step up for him. Cut to backstage, British Bulldog really wants to get into Shawn Michaels' dressing room. He's arguing with people. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... Vader vs Razor Ramon
Vader injured Yokozuna recently. What does this mean for Razor? Vader quickly showing he is more powerful. Lawler "This man pitches horseshoes without taking them off the horse" He's getting better at commentary these days. Razor gets a couple clotheslines, but it's still all Vader. Vader hits the Vader bomb, but Razor kicks out! Razor keeps getting reversals when it seems he's taken enough damage. Razor tries grabbing Vader on the ropes for a Razor's Edge, but he's too heavy to lift. Vader goes for the bomb, but Razor reverses the move again! But Vader sits on Razor and gets a pin. The Godwinns vs The Bodydonnas Godwinns come to the ring with dogs and a pig on a leash. Sunny comes to the ring with the greatest pair... of tag team wrestlers. Henry spits way into the air and catches it in his hand. That's actually pretty talented, but not good wrestling. Lawler botches a joke about Sunny twice. Okay, he's still not on Ventura level of commentary. The Bodydonnas do some heel cheating outside the ring, and bounce Phineas off the rope to double suplex him. Phineas gets double teamed again, but punches his way free. He then fails really badly at a handstand twice... is this taunting the Bodydonnas? One of the half-handstands kicks Skip and I don't think Skip knows if he's supposed to sell it or not. This whole sequence is messed up. Sunny brings out a picture of herself to Phineas, ref is distracted by everyone and misses a Godwinn pin. Bodydonnas swap spots and small package to win. Interview with Marc Mero and Sable. This guy's eyebrows are nuts. Then a Shawn/Diesel recap. Diesel vs Shawn Michaels - no holds barred Some traded punches early, Shawn dropkicks Diesel, and we're already outside the ring. Shawn runs over and grabs the boots off a spanish announcer. I'll never buy the boot as a foreign object - a kick hits harder than a punch with a boot. Back in the ring, Diesel with his usual arsenal of slow yet strong moves. Diesel shouting at Vince for some reason? Diesel pulls the tape off his wrist, and strangles the ref!? Then he takes the ref's belt and whips Shawn! What a series of heelish moves! He wraps the belt around Shawn's neck and hangs him over the side of the ring. Howard Finkel gets tossed like a ragdoll, poor guy. Shawn eating chair shots now. Shawn's going the Bret route of "take tons of punishment while holding the belt." This one's been all Diesel so far. Outside, Shawn gets jacknifed onto THE REAL ANNOUNCE TABLE?! WHAT! Both monitors bounce onto Shawn, Vince is digging Shawn out of the mess. Vince pleading for some sanity. Shawn finally gets up, and gets Diesel with a fire extinguisher. Shawn takes down Diesel, and kickflips himself up. Shawn grabs a chair - and incidentally Lawler's headset. Commentary is minimal at this point. Diesel tries another jacknife, Shawn reverses it, elbow from the top, here comes the kic- NO BLOCKED! Vince and Lawler standing and blocking the view of many fans. Diesel finds a retired wrestler, Mad Dog Vachon, and steals his prosthetic leg. I sure am glad they pointed him out to me before the match so I knew who he was! But Shawn steals the fake leg, here comes the superkick, and the pin. Star of the PPV: Shawn Michaels Good bumps in the main event, that choking bit could've been really bad if done wrong. The Vader match and the dark match were also fun. The rest was pretty disappointing. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... Copied to Clipboard!

That PPV was the final televised appearance for both Razor Ramon and Diesel before they went to WCW. The Nash stuff with Vince was an early form of a worked shoot, since internet fans knew the situation and there was a hint of "Nash is on his way out so he doesn't care about going off-script" in the air.
IYH: Beware of Dog is next and I'm interested in knowing which version you have. The original PPV was beset by a complete power outage that knocked it off the air after the first match which didn't get resolved until main event time, so it only has those two matches. They did a make-up cheap PPV on Tuesday which re-aired the 2 matches from Sunday in their entirety and then they went live to wherever they were that night and re-did the 3 matches that happened in the dark. So if the arena skips around during your copy, don't worry, it's not a WM2 situation. <_< Sunny switched allegiances from the Bodydonnas to the Godwinns during a tag title match and led the Godwinns to the titles going into this PPV. Bart has not had any fun whatsoever when sharing the ring with Phineas. Billy tags in and they set up some double team action, a wristlock by Bart. Billy and Sunny are hooking up, Phineas is shocked and and Bart with the rollup NEW CHAMPIONS! Well, let's be honest Billy is better looking than Phineas. lol jump cut. MAIN EVENT: WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH: The British Bulldog vs Shawn Michaels (c) Damn look at that title belt, this is one hell of an incredible design. Shawn bumps into Mr Perfect. Shawn has Jose Lothario, while Bulldog gets Owen Hart, Diana and part of his entourage includes Cornette and Clarence Mason. Like a boxer's entourage. Mason with a promo, this is the kind of role I want David Otunga to assume. Bulldog may be gigantic, but he can sure move, but Shawn tonght is even faster than usual, here comes Michaels, in about a minute we've had over a dozen moves. In the 80s it was like 9 moves a match! Shawn's got Davey Boy in a side headlock and Owen looking a little worried. leapfrog and hey this time caught in midair, Shawn's so fast he can outmaneuver Davey Boy with tremendous ease. Michaels has Bulldog in a submission. Bulldog gets back at HBK and starts unloading on him. Vice Grip from Bulldog, hold is broken and MICHAELS IN TROUBLE! Michael to convert this into a crucifix, but instead we get a samoan drop out of it. Owen Hart rambling off camera. The Spanish announcers are in fear as they see Michaels and Bulldog right in front of them. That's it folks. The match doesn't end and it all gets cut off, but the guy has uploaded Beware of Dog 2 , no ending to the other match. Jim Ross and Mr Perfect are suddenly our commentators. CARIBBEAN STRAP MATCH: Steve Austin vs Savio Vega Apparently they're talking about a match in the dark where they killed each other. These two men do not like each other! Oh the brawling is some serious brawling, he's going to KILL HIM! Savio in control and he gets two corners. JR on the announce table really sells the sheer brutality of this match. They've been using that strap almost as a torture device. Austin gets a corner and he's trying to get the second, third one incoming. Savio interrupts and knocks out Stone Cold. Savio is 31-0 in this type of match. If Savio loses he becomes the chauffeur and if Stone Cold loses, Million dollar Man is outta here. This bout has become even more intense, there is so much on the line here! Austin with some hard right he jumps but gets a right to midsection. Savio slaps him with the strap, No countouts, no DQ and Savio gets one corner, he gets the second, aiming for the third. GETS IT AND STONE COLD TRIPS HIM OVER! That whipping is destroying both men plenty of leather on flesh action. Front facelock on the top turnbuckle AND THERE'S THE SUPERPLEX, BOTH MEN ARE DOWN! There is nothing stopping Ted Dibiase from interfering though. Savio Vega gets up and gets two turnbuckles HE GETS THE THIRD ONE AND SPINEBUSTER STOPS VEGA IN TIME! Perfect says Dibiase couldn't have asked for a better wrestler to represent him. There is no time limit here either, Austin and Vega have been destroying each other for fifteen minutes. Stone Cold going for his corners, PILEDRIVER ATTEMPT, NO REVERSAL, NO REVERSAL AGAIN! no tombstones, but Savio is choking again. AUSTIN JUMPS AND GOES FACE FIRST RIGHT INTO THE STEEL! Oh my goodness, this Stone Cold guy's brutal action has just been insanely fun to watch, this is different from everything else I've seen up to now in a good way. Vega has two turnbuckles and Vega gettng to the third, Stone Cold holding on to those tights HE'S GOT THE THIRD AND INCHES AWAY BUT STONE COLD YANKS THE STRAPS! PILEDRIVER BY STONE COLD! Surely this is it, Ted Dibiase is asking for one more piledriver BUT BACKDROP BY VEGA! -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Savio touched the turnbuckle from behind, THEY BOTH HAVE TWO! THEY BOTH HAVE THREE SAVIO IS PULLING AWAY AND VEGA GETS THE FOURTH ONE AND WINS! Stone Cold leaves the ring and heads out already. NANANA HEY HEY GOODBYE. The career of the great Million Dollar Man has ended. Vader vs Yokozuna Vader and Yokozuna are preapring for one big smash, Vader in a football stance and Yokozuna in a sumo stance. nope false start. Yokozuna runs over Vader and out goes Vader. No one can believe anything that's happening tonight! Vader going for the Slam, JR only remembers Ahmed Jonhson ever doing that. Samoan drop and Yokozuna is in control. Is he going to land his drop? Cornette brough inside by Yokozuna. The two men brawl a bit and Yoko's leg has been taken out AND HERE COMES THE VADER BOMB! IT'S OVER! INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: CASKET MATCH Goldust VS The Undertaker There's about 17 minutes left on this PPV, so yeah, this match is just going to be the entrances. This match so far has pretty much been a total demolition of Goldust by The Undertaker and jump from the tope rope. JR talking about Taker being a dead man walking. Uppercut misses, TOMBSTONE by goldust, but given Taker's height it looked incredibly horrible. Undertaker gets up, Goldust rolls the Undertaker into the casket, he was going to close the lid but Undertaker gets right back up. Big Boot to the face and backdrop by Goldust. Undertaker doesn't really land on his feet anymore for this spot. A slew of right hands followed up by the Undertaker. Now followed up by a sleeper from Goldust. Undertaker in the casket and the lid is shut, no Taker's arm is sticking out, Taker is pushing the lid so hard Goldust ends up being sent flying. Double clothesline and now here comes a powerslam by Goldust, The Undertaker is in real trouble now. Cover, wrong rules, Marlena is working on that cigar as hard as se possibly can. How do you beat a dead man? He's trying to copy taker's walking of the rope here, but he fails and TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER! This one's over. Casket is opened AND HOLY OH MY GAWD THAT'S THAT'S MANKIND TAKER IS INSIDE THE CASKET AND MANKIND HAS LOCKED IT SHUT, GOLDUST WINS! OH MY GOODNESS, DEAR GOD! In Your House 8: Beware of Dodgy Weather
Free For All/Dark Match: The Smoking Gunns vs The Godwinns Sunny is a manager of the Godwinns now. This is Phineas's doing. Hillbilly Jim and Henry not fans of this move. Phineas is in the ring for a long time, the Gunns have so much better wrestling ability than him. Sunny runs over to Billy Gunn and kisses him to distract the Gunns. But Phineas is more shocked than anyone and gets pinned. Did Henry ever enter the ring? Gunns are champs again. Recap of recent events. Mankind attacked Undertaker, which means he's in the WWF now. HHH vs Marc Mero HHH is accompanied by a woman, we never hear her name. Action right from the start, HHH knocked out of the ring. Marc Mero gets run shoulder-first into two ring posts. Vince already warns of potential difficulties due to the storms outside. Mero struggling to do moves due to his shoulder soreness. Sable has ridiculous tan lines from a bikini. Armbars all over from HHH. Marc Mero catches HHH in the corner, and frankensteiners him from the top rope! A hurricarana follows. HHH gets knocked out of the ring, and Mero misses a flip over the top rope. HHH confronts Sable. "You watch this." He goes for the pedigree, but Mero reverses it into a slingshot and pins HHH. We cut to after the storm, before the main event. Interview with Cornette group. Owen Hart looks like a Steiner brother wearing a University of Michigan outfit. Owen is gonna be ringside as manager for this match. British Bulldog vs Shawn Michaels Shawn's ready to kick ass and chew bubble gum. And he's already chewing gum. Shawn gets Bulldog in an arm scissor, but Bulldog rolls himself over, stands up, and lifts up shawn with just the one arm he is holding on to. Nice. There's a lot of holds in this match. It's really slow paced, with some short bursts of action between each hold. Finally Shawn gets knocked outside. Shawn rammed into the steel guards, then the ring apron. Two double knockdowns, now three. But Shawn's in control again. Bulldog runs into the ref, ref flies outside the ring. Owen tries to sneak in the ring, but Shawn gives him a superkick. Bulldog goes for a powerslam, Shawn revereses it, and does a bridge pin. Shawn retains. Wait what Bulldog's music playing? Cornette celebrating? Oh my god, I didn't even catch it at first. Both men had their shoulders down. This reminds me of some other similar controversial finish I saw once, where both guys had their shoulders down. My first thought was Honky Tonk/Ricky Steamboat, but that's not quite the same. Am I right in thinking there was another big match that ended like this anyone? Anybody know what it is? There's a second ref, both say a man won. Gorilla Monsoon comes out, both were pinned, it's a draw, Shawn keeps the belt. It's the right decision, but not a satisfying one. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Steve Austin vs Savio Vega - Caribbean Strap Match
The hell is a Caribbean Strap Match? Oh, both men tethered together and have to touch the four corners. Simple enough. I'm hungry for some caribbean jerk chicken now. If Austin loses, DiBiase leaves the WWF! Oh no! Vega gets a nice back body drop, Austin is outside, but keeps being yanked back into the ring apron. Savio starts whipping Austin with the strap. Savio gets two corners, but Austin pulls him down. Gotta start over. Austin now doing damage outside, Savio getting choked. Steve Austin tries to touch the corners, but gets spun around. Savio thrown outsie, but Austin is pulled out too. Then a suplex outside by Savio! Back in, Savio tries to touch corners, but can't. He does a suplex from the top rope! Steve Austin gets Savio ready for a tombstone piledriver, but Savio flips it over and now has Austin! And it flips again! Savio is outside, austin up top, but Savio pulls him right out and into the barriers! Savio Vega almost wins again, but is pulled down at the last second. Austin gets a piledriver. Another, no reversed! Austin puts on the Million Dollar Dream, but Savio still tries to touch some corners. Still no winner. Austin starts touching the corners while pulling Savio, but Savio is touching them too! Austin tries to pull down Savio, but pulls him right to the last corner, and Savio wins! Noooo DiBiase is done. Vader vs Yokozuna Yokozuna seems to have recovered from his injuries. Vader is so huge in every way. He's huge and he looks to be all muscle. In an actual fight, I'd have to believe he could beat down every single person on the current roster. Lots of squaring off with nothing happening, Yokozuna clotheslines Vader finally. Some punches traded, this is in Vader's advantage. Yokozuna going to work on Vader's leg now. Vader oversells like crazy. Vader tries to slam Yokozuna. "Only man I can recall to slam him is Ahmed Johnson." Oh, Jim Ross. Yokozuna beating up Vader some more, then throws Cornette in the ring. Yokozuna wants to banzai Cornette! Vader pulls Cornette away, then starts attacking Yokozuna's leg. Vader bomb, and he wins. Undertaker vs Goldust - Casket Match Goldust comes out first instead of the challenger yet again. Undertaker appears right behind him. They're fighting outside by the casket. Man, there's almost no room for them to battle outside the ring, the crowd is so close in this setup. Goldust catches Undertaker running, flips him, and tombstones him. Later, a sleeper hold on Undertaker, he's out. Undertaker almost in the casket, but his arm stops it. Goldust climbs on the lid, Taker pushes it off, and it completely unhinges. I feel like almost every casket match we've seen lately has been the same. There's only so many ways someone can "almost" be put in a casket. Goldust knocks down Undertaker, covers him, and counts himself a 3 count, but that won't win here. PINFALLS DON'T COUNT IN THE RUMBLE MACHO MAN Ha, Goldust tries to walk the ropes like Undertaker, it doesn't work. Tombstone. Undertaker opens the casket - MANKIND IS IN THERE WHAT. WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN Madible claw, Undertaker gets put in the casket, Mankind shuts it, Goldust retains. They open the casket back up, and Undertaker is gone! Oh, there's a trap door. Guess they did surprise me with the finish, did not see that coming. Star of the PPV: Uhh... yeah, Steve Austin sounds right here. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. King of the Ring 1996
Vince an JR are here and Owen Hart is joining them for commentary. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Marc Mero Austin beat Holly and Vega, oh man the debut of the Stunner. Sable looks like a whore these days and hey Mero puts skip away and he even beat Owen Hart. Owen Hart is amazing on commentary, he just happened to slip and clobber Mero. Austin is slower and wants this to stay on the ground. Steve Austin is starting solo. Mero trying his high risk moves but Austin just bails. He doesn't want to be on the end of another Rana. Jake the Snake is 41 years of age. Austin trapped in a headlock. The wild man has generally been dominating, THESZ PRESS BY STONE COLD! That's kina rare, BACKDROP by Mero. Austin asking for a timeout. He gets back into the ring and wants to shake hands, nope. Austin is the more powerful of the two wrestlers and he's winning the test of strength here. Wild man is sent flying over the top. Austin exposes the concrete and down goes Mero. Stone Cold just celebrates and a suplex from Stone Cold. Sable! Sable! Sable! wrestling fans have caught on, hot women are on this show! Driving elbow by Stone Cold. To the buckle again and Stone cold going for a driving elbow from the 2nd rope. Mero's up and backbreaker, cover and nope, Boston crab time wild man will give up! This is the king of the ring, Owen's perfect for this, the lower back of Mero is being worked on hard. OH MY SERIES OF NEARFALLS. STONE COLD LIVING ON THE EDGE, HIGH RISK MANEUVERS FROM MERO! The match has been getting faster and faster. Stone Cold in a little bit of trouble here. Mero with the backdrop and oh no, Mero is going up top and DOUBLE AXE, only a two count. Irish whip, big boot, OH MY GOODNESS WILL SOMEONE GET A DAMN DOCTOR STEVE AUSTIN IS BLEEDING FROM THE MOUTH. Wild Man Marc Mero is going up top again and he jumps HE KNOCKS STONE COLD DOWN! AUSTIN KICKS OUT FROM THE DROPKICK! Superplex? NO FRANKENSTEINER AND SURELY THIS IS OVER AND OOOOOOH GOD AUSTIN KICKS OUT! kick to the gut an here comes a powerb- no he messes up and drops mero on the ropes, Mero's throat got hit and STUNNER! THE WILD MAN FINALLY LOSES! Weird Music. The Man they call Vader will go up against Jake the Snake Roberts. Vader vs Jake the Snake The man they call Vader got here beating Ahmed Johnson. Jake is the sentimental favourite, he's overcome adversity, he's had to beat the likes of Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Justin Hawk Bradshaw, those two will never win world titles at this rate. vader is just huge and he's already starting off by destroying Jake's elbow. Vader is like a truck running right through Jake. Again Jake is down, he's just being made to look second rate here. Boot to the jaw and reversal and OH MY VADER'S DOWN! He gets up and proceeds to beat on Roberts again, hard. Short clothesline and down goes the man they call Vader. OH MY GOD DDT! IT'S ALL OVER! OH NO LOOK AT THIS HORROR! VADER HAS BEEN ASSAULTING ROBERTS. Stone Cold Steve Austin has got to be loving this. Exclusive on Coliseum Vader and Cornette are going nuts. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... WWF TAG-TEAM TITLE MATCH: The Godwinns vs The Smoking Gunns (c) Sunny sure gets around. JR: "This is getting ridiculous!" The Gunns are no longer signing autographs. Sommeone is going to get slop all over. Phineas gets setup by Billy Gunn. Phineas is hammering away. Henry's gotta keep him in check. Cloudy is the new manager of the Body Donnas. Sunny is angry, she's not able to instantly seduce Phineas. Poor Bartalways getting beaten up. Billy is just messing around with Henry now, Sunny anxious, she wants the Gunns to end this. Bart is also wasting time oh dear what will happen now. SMALL PACKAGE, Henry almost stole it. Billy Gunn rushes in and gets knocked out. Bart from up top and he misses Billy's in there, Phineas with the hot tag. All four men in the ring, both gunns are down! GUNNS RETAIN AFTER A BOOT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD. SUNNY! SUNNY! SUNNY! Mr Perfect is the special guest referee? OH MY GAWD! Jerry the King Lawler has arrived. Lawler: "Nice robe, nice crown, nice thrown, but I've been there and done that!" Owen Hart: " Me too!" Lawler is a really heel, he gets heat like few others. The audience has been riled up. Outrageous! Insulting the audience with some personal insult. BUUUUUUURN! WARRIAH IS HERE, ALL SKINNY AND JUST NOT THE SAME AT ALL, BUT THIS IS TOTALLY WARRIAH! Lawler vs The Ultimate Warrior Lawler with the scepter, he's already in control and Warrior hasn't even been able to take off his vest. "BURGER KING! BURGER KING! BURGER KING!" Warrior with a boot to the midsection. Lawler still in control, he's setting up for the piledriver and down goes Warrior, up goes Warrior. Lawler cannot believe what just happened. Clotheslines send him to the canvas. FLYING TACKLE and he's too gassed to do the splash so he just wins it there. Warrior seems to think he's the new King of the ring. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Mankind vs The Undertaker Dear lord, Mankind is totally deranged and that mandible claw is being built up as one of the most devastating moves ever. Yay! Here comes the Undertaker! Business is just about to pick up. MY GOD, this was one of the biggest pops I've heard in a while when Undertaker decided to attack Mankind. The Undertaker has got his hands on Mankind and the y're mentioning all the damage all over Mankind's body. Undertaker walks the ropes and down goes Mankind. Mankind is all over The Undertaker, REST IN PEACE! REST IN PEACE! Man, matches have been getting brutal recently, normally . Chairs are being used, Backdrops onto concrete, this is getting brutal. How much more punishment can each man take, swinging neckbreaker by Mankind. Legdrop on The Undertaker, he's not going for a cover. Undertaker is fading now, the Mandible Claw appears like it'll end the game. Undertaker is still fading and that's just from a nerve hold. Look at how much on the backfoot Undertaker is, uppercut by the Undertaker and now look at the clothesline sending Mankind out of the ring. They are still beating on each other pretty damn hard, MANKIND RUSHES AND TAKER'S HEAD CRASHES INTO THE STEEL STEPS! OH NO, BODYSLAM ON THE FLOOR! THAT CHAIR HAS SEEN SOME SERIOUS USAGE TODAY, Undertaker smashing the chair on Mankind's head. Mankind will not give up, he's yelling, not letting go of the ropes. Undertaker has had enough. Drives him down to the floor. PILEDRIVER AND MANKIND WITH THE COVER, NOT GOOD ENOUGH. He's pulling his hair out. He grabs the urn and if he uses it he'll be DQd surely, Paul Bearer gets the Undertaker sits up and MANDIBLE CLAW, it's not fully applied yet though. PAUL BEARER HITS THE UNDERTAKER BY ACCIDENT, MANDIBLE CLAW IS BACK ON! IT'S OVER, THE UNDERTAKER WAS DEFEATED BY THE MANDIBLE CLAW! WHAT A MATCH! WHAT A HUGE WIN! Mankind now has the a chair and he's going to strike down Paul Bearer, Undertaker coming back, but he's staggering. Perfect has given us a solid promo here, we don't know if he really will call it down the middle. Goldust gave Ahmed Johnson CPR. INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Goldust (c) vs Ahmed Johnson Ahmed is swinging wildly, he's intense and Goldust has to sell harder than he's ever sold for this man. Ahmed over the top. JR: "What a missile!" This is total domination. Whoa look at Goldust take control of the match thanks to steel steps. Goldust applying pressure on Ahmed Johnson he's got him in a camel clutch and he's now working the back. The mindgames by Goldust! Two Time Intercontinental champion here! Owen Hart breaking down the match with some serious analysis. Goldust is apparently at his most aggressive and he uses a piledriver. Ref is slow counting, Owen just too smart. Ahmed ain't fading he's going for Goldust's midsection. Sets him up, reversal and Goldust is now just fondling Ahmed Johnson. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Crowd is chanting, don't think they are too into Ahmed. Missed dropkick and a pin attempt by Goldust comes up short. Sleeper hold. Ahmed goes down, Goldust snogs him and Ahmed gives him a pearl river plunge.
NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION! Brian Pillman is here, oh god what is this man, he's not a colourful looking character. He looks crazy, he looks edgy. oh my god he said to JR, "You stupid son of a *****", my god his language is so foul mouthed. God this man is scary. out comes Steve Austin to his weirdly epic music. The two men cross eyes, I don't know who's crazier. Austin looks like a serial killer, Pillman looks like a mass murderer. KING OF THE RING FINALS: Steve Austin vs Jake the Snake Roberts is still suffering from the after effects of his match with the man they call Vader. STONE COLD IS AFTER THE SNAKE ALREADY! I remember when Jake used to be only 30, now he's 41 and competing for the right to be King of the Ring. I honestly never noticed Stone Cold had a tattoo on his left leg. Jake is on his knees and he's fighting back but with great difficulty. Even a punch is draining him. Austin is working on the rib area already. Gorilla Monsoon is here and he's checking up on Jake the Snake. The president wants to stop the match, but Snake refuses and HE JUST SIGNALED FOR THE DDT, BUT STONE IS DRIVING HIS SHOULDER INTO THE RIBS! More driving knees AND THERE IT IS THE STONE COLD STUNNER! HE WINS! Poor Jake the Snake Roberts, I really thought he had a shot at it. Man it really is a different feeling, he's got no entourage when going up. Stone Cold: "You sit there and you thump your Bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere! Talk about your psalms, talk about John 3:16... Austin 3:16 says I just whupped your ass!" Man the second he said it, Stone Cold received big pop, odd he's a mean heel. Stone Cold: "AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE BECAUSE STONE COLD SAID SO!" The entire locker room has been put on notice, but who the hell does this man think he is. Ultimate Warrior should just crush him. Here comes Mr Perfect. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

MAIN EVENT: WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH: SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE: Mr Perfect The British Bulldog vs Shawn Michaels (c) Mr Perfect has been told to become the referee outside the ring. Bulldog waving the union jack to a chorus of boos. Bulldog is the stronger man, he also shows off plenty of agility. Bulldog is down here as Shawn has him in a sideheadlock. Bulldog tries to power out but Michaels is capable of keeping him grounded. Michaels Skinning the cat and then throws Bulldog out, he's displaying more athleticism than anyone else! JR: "Owen are you adopted?" It's Bulldog who is now in charge. Nope, Michaels is back in there. Perfect chants from the crowd. HBK is hyper extending the arm. Davey Boy using the ropes as leverage but Perfect breaks it up. Davey with a hammerlock and Michaels is going for a hip toss, fails but gets a sleeper, Bulldog rams him to the corner. Michaels to the buckle and again. Man how many title shots has Bulldog had already, I swear this is his fourth already. Armbar takedown and Bulldog is flat on his face. Vince asking for a disqualification, he is outraged by Bulldog's actions. Goldust glitter ruins everything. Davey Boy's back is totally covered. Michaels is thrown in a cover, but kickout by Michaels. USA! Chants and Michaels has been grounded. Turnbuckle flip into a big right hand. What is Davey trying? He's going for the surfboard and Michaels in big trouble, referee, Davey boy's shoulders are on the canvas. Knee to the midsection and a backdrop, Legrop now but Michaels is still kicking out. Shawn Michaels is kicking out from absolutely everything the Bulldog can throw at him . USA! USA! USA! Bulldog cannot do anything here. Michaels on his feet, crucifix, Michaels has him, now bulldog, running powerslam, no Sweet chin music, no. PILEDRIVER from Bulldog, he's going up top now and what, did he slip? He landed completely wrong and Owen is saying Jose Lothario pulled the ropes. Shawn's climbing up top again. DROPKICK FROM BULLDOG! Superplex incoming and THERE IT IS! IT NEVER WORKS! Both men are now down, it could end on a countout, what will Perfect do? They're now both up AND POWERBOMB by Bulldog and Michaels still kicks out! Michaels with a hard whip and Bulldog just flips over to the turnbuckle and gets knocked down. KIP UP by Michaels and a bodyslam, but the referee is down, MICHAELS FROM THE TOP! He gets the flying elbow. The band is being tuned up and SWEET CHIN MUSIC! MICHAELS WINS, BUT PERFECT TRIED GOING FOR A COUNT! BUT OWEN PULLED HIM OUT! Figure four by Michaels on Owen. Owen Hart knocks out Owen and here come the double team moves! Oh no Ahmed Johnson has arrived to clean house. But Vader now runs in. This is all just a mess. One final run in by the Warrior and he cleans house in record time. Show Rating: *** Star of the show: Stone Cold Steve Austin -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

That was Bulldog's 5th World Title match in the last 10 PPVs, going back to the Triple Header match at IYH3. He's like a '90s version of 2010 Wade Barrett.
No title changes. Michaels/Johnson/Gunns. The biggest news of the day here is that Warrior left the company again over money. They were building to HBK/Ahmed/Warrior vs. Vader/Owen/Bulldog, obviously, so they just swapped Warrior out with SYCHO SID. ...I'm ashamed to admit that it's probably a slight upgrade. -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg ... King of the Ring 1996
Free for all - The Bodydonnas vs The New Rockers I'm skipping through stuff, jump into this match kind of in progress. Who's this with Jannetty? Todd Pettingill on the phone with Vince. "Leif Cassidy" is this new Rocker. Marty's already way slower these days, these Rockers just don't have the same kick as the old ones. Bodydonnas have a new manager, Cloudy. She looks like a man in a wig. I missed some decent stuff here typing this up. Powerbomb off the top corner, some nice suplexes. Cloudy runs in and kisses Leif, and the Bodydonnas win. I wonder which guy is dressed in drag for this part. Brian Pillman in the WWF now, he says he's the human time bomb. He's also on crutches. Okay, enough free for all. Actual PPV kicks off with Owen Hart music. He's doing commentary with Jim Ross and Vince McMahon. Semifinal: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs Marc Mero Steve Austin beat Bob Holly and Savio Vega to get here. Austin used the Stone Cold Stunner for the first time against Savio. Marc Mero defeated Skip and Owen Hart to get here. Owen claims Marc Mero cheated. Lots of holds and reversals quickly at the start. "Sable" chant from the crowd. Marc Mero gets the hurricarana. Every time Marc Mero gets some momentum, Steve Austin kills some time outside the ring before coming back in and taking control. Steve Austin throws Marc Mero out, and he's walking around with some swagger now. Definitely some attitude to him now. He pulls away some mats and tosses Mero onto them. Austin gets a boston crab locked in, but Mero works his way out and almost wins with a small package. Marc Mero in another boston crab, he's keeping things interesting with lots of reversals into near-falls. Mero gets Austin in a sleeper, their heads hit, Austin is now bleeding from the mouth. Austin thrown out of the ring, Mero flips over the ropes onto Austin. And another leap out of the ring onto Austin. Drop kick from the top rope, but Austin will not be pinned so easily! But now Mero gets a frankensteiner from the top rope! But still no pin! Austin nails the stone cold stunner in a rather lazy manner, but it works and Marc Mero is out. Great opening match for the card. Vader vs Jake "The Snake" Roberts Jake's overcome a lot of challenges, but the powers above will help him win. Vader previously beat Ahmed Johnson, then got a bye. Jake beat HHH and Justin Bradshaw with the DDT to get this far. Jake wants the DDT from the start, but Vader pummels Jake down repeatedly. Vader runs at Jake in the corner, Jake dodges. He gets the DDT, ref bump. Ref DQs Vader for the bump, what. Vader beats up Jake after just for fun. Jake is hurt. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... The Godwinns vs The Smoking Gunns
The Godwinns have a goat with them. Oh wait, two goats. Can we be done with this team now? Sunny is managing the Smoking Gunns now. She really gets around. Phineas goes in a fit of rage. Apparently he's the hulk. Henry actually gets some ring time this match. Oh, apparently the Gunns are heels now thanks to Sunny. Sunny is still getting all the chants from the crowd, so they might see the heel/face setup here a little different than intended. After a hot tag to Phineas, all four men are in the ring. The Gunns try and run the Godwinns into each other, but they do a square dance move, and come right back to hit the Gunns. Bart cheap shots Henry with his boot (I still don't buy the shoe as dangerous), and Billy gets the pin. Lawler comes out to remind people he's the king and to mock them all. One kid flips the bird to Lawler. Jerry Lawler vs Ultimate Warrior Lawler immediately choking Warrior with his scepter. Then with Warrior's coat. then with some tape. Then with more tape. And a fifth choking session. Lawler does a piledriver, Warrior gets up and is dancing. Warrior only does 4 moves this time, and wins. Owen Hart says Jake Roberts is 80 or 90 years old. Mankind vs The Undertaker Mankind is definitely a unique character. He emits a crazy screech noise. Undertaker walks the rope early on, taking it to Mankind. Undertaker knocked down, but he's right back up. Mankind knocks Taker out of the ring, drops an elbow on him from the apron. There's a large, ugly woman in the front row of the crowd who looks a lot like the Bodydonnas manager, Cloudy. I later see her from another angle and realize she's just an unattractive woman. Mankind with lots of out of ring action, throws a chair in the ring. Undertaker picks up Mankind and backdrops him onto another chair on the cement floor. Undertaker grabs the other chair and smacks Mankind in the back. Both men go down, Mankind gets up first. He wants to mandible claw, but Taker gets up and stops him. Mankind clotheslined to the outside, pulls Taker back out. He runs Undertaker right into the stairs. Slam onto the concrete. Mankind tries to drop an elbow on Undertaker, but Taker grabs a chair and blocks the elbow! And a smack of the chair right to Mankind's head. Back in the ring. I don't think Undertaker's tried a single pin yet. Taker gets a flying clothesline, but Mankind manages to get a piledriver. Mankind steals the urn! But Paul Bearer gets it back. Mankind gets the mandible claw on, and Undertaker tries to choke back. Paul Bearer tries to hit Mankind with the urn, but both men fall at once and Taker gets hit in the head! Mandible claw again, and Mankind wins. His music is "what" Goldust vs Ahmed Johnson Why do the cameras always show Goldust's entrance at half framerate? Ahmed runs in and is beating Goldust before his wig and robe are even off. Outside the ring now, Ahmed pummeling Goldust. Ahmed tries throwing the stairs at Goldust, but misses. Ahmed gets run into the stairs. Now Goldust throws the stairs, and does hit Ahmed. Goldust in control for what seems like forever, just watching Ahmed take punches and sit in holds. He finally pumps up, and Goldust stops it. Goldust does a piledriver, and starts rubbing Ahmed. Lots of massaging and grabbing. Now he locks a sleeper hold on Ahmed. Oh no, Ahmed is passed out, he needs mouth to mouth. Ahmed's shoulders are down and Goldust has his arm on him this whole time, why no pin count? Ahmed goes nuts on Goldust, underhook piledriver, Ahmed wins the IC belt. Interview with Brian Pillman, he uses bad words. His raspy voice makes it hard to hear him. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Steve Austin vs Jake Roberts
Austin starts beating up the injured Jake before he even has a chance. Austin rips the tape off Jake's side that are covering his ribs. Jake is in severe pain. But Jake still wants to fight! DDT TIME - no! Steve Austin hits the stunner! He wins quickly! There are still gold flakes in the ring, both men have them on their skin. King of the ring has been a heel fest lately. Austin 3:16 is here. And "because Stone Cold said so." All these catch phrases for him forming here. British Bulldog vs Shawn Michaels Mr. Perfect has to do the out-of-ring officiating, and Hebner has to do the in-ring officiating. Owen is worried Shawn, being the dirty wrestler he is, would punch the ref just to get DQed. Lots of holds and reversals, head scissors all day just like the last match. Michaels gets throw out, no, he skins the cat (I kind of hate this phrase), grabs Bulldog with his legs, pulls Bulldog out, then flips back into the ring. Then a frankensteiner outside the ring! Bulldog gets a headlock on inside the ring, Shawn cannot break free. Michaels tries a sleeper, but gets thrown into the turnbuckle twice. Some throws into the ropes, Bulldog lifts Michaels above his head and drops right outside of the ring! Now Shawn gets suplexed on the outside floor too. Bulldog has gold flakes all over his back. Shawn too. Bulldog lifts Shawn up and throws him in between the ropes. Good power moves from Bulldog. Bulldog with a surfboard submission hold, Shawn doesn't give up though. A few more side headlocks here as Bulldog stays in control. Bulldog gets Shawn set for a powerslam, but Shawn breaks free, tries a superkick! But Bulldog grabs the ropes and dodges it. But with Shawn down, Bulldog botches a top rope jump, and falls way short. Now Shawn goes to the top, and Bulldog dropkicks him while he's on top! Now a suplex from the top! Both men down a few times, Michaels finally gets up first once, OH NO REF BUMP Shawn gets the superkick, both referees in to count, Perfect does two, then Owen Hart pulls him out. Hebner does a three. Bulldog and Owen both in the ring, Shawn beating them both up. But now they're beating up Shawn. Ahmed Johnson runs in! Why? Because he's a face! Vader's in now too! There's carnage everywhere! Ultimate warrior is here too! Everyone celebrates! Star of the PPV - Steve Austin -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ...
