I QUIT MATCH: Guest Referee: Roddy Piper Bret Hart vs Bob Backlund Vince doesn't know his mania history, getting Mania VIII's results wrong. FIGURE FOUR ON BOB BACKLUND! Bret has stolen the figure four from Jeff Jarrett and there's even a german announce table. Lawler: Those guys have the perfect face for radio. Backlund refuses to quit but this match so far is far more boring than it should be the guy in the crowd is looking up at the sky. Bob Backlund had Bret in a lot of trouble for a while, but Bret takes control of the match again, but Backlund was able to get to the ropes. Bret reverses Backlund's attempt at a crossface chickenwing. Backlund is spewing a lot of mumble jumbo and Piper ends the match. Piper is so high gwaaarble sounds like I quit to him. Pamela Anderson has left the building. The audio works like a charm with more technical difficulties. WWF TITLE MATCH: Shawn Michaels vs Diesel (c) Shawn has Jenny McCarthy and Sid by his side. Diesel has Pamela Anderson by his side though. I hope we never get Diesel vs Sycho Sid ever on WWF PPV. Shawn Michaels has got to be quick to take out Diesel. Will he use the same strategies Bret employed? He's bouncing around the ring at first and that was a high backdrop. Diesel clobbers Shawn and now here come the punches and Michaels runs right into an elbow. Michaels is now down on the floor and Sid is looking over him. Sunset flip, no, Diesel just picks up Shawn and MISSED BIG BOOT AND A CLOTHESLINE SENDS BOTH MEN OVER! Michaels skins the cat and A HIGH RISK CROSSBODY FROM THE TOP! Baseball slide to the face. Diesel with a massive elbow that misses, Shawn's in trouble because he can't win via countout. A splash and the crowd chants Sid. Bulldog only gets a two count! Shawn's been attacking with a lot of moves but can't get Diesel down, big chants for the champ and an elbow, STILL NOT ENOUGH. HERE'S THE FLYING ELBOW RIGHT INTO THE BACK OF DIESEL! Shawn's getting manhandled and Diesel catches him, but Shawn was able to get a sleeper hold on Diesel. Diesel ain't quitting and now he's standing up and pushes bac Michaels right into the corner. Shawn's bouncing around some more and flip over the turnbuckle and Diesel just pushes him out of the ring. Shawn is now begging and here come the forearms. SUPERKICK, but the official has twisted his ankle. Diesel kicks out and WHY WOULD YOU GIVE SID A SHARP OBJECT. Suplex from Diesel. Both men are down, the official starts counting, HBK covers and Diesel kicks out, SHAWN GOING HIGH AND THE SIDEWALK SLAM STOPS HIM DEAD IN HIS TRACKS. Slingshot and Michaels went right into the corner. Huge right hands and BIG BOOT to Shawn's face. The engine is revving and now he's going for the Jacknife Powerbomb and can he make the cover, yes he can! Diesel gets both blondes huh. Diesel now gets to carry the entire federation on his back. oh Shawn's already started calling it chin music. WHAT, NO KING KONG BUNDY IS BACK. King Kong Bundy, Tatanka, Nikolai Volkoff, Kama, I.R.S and Ted Dibiase are all jogging to the ring. MAIN EVENT: Bam Bam Bigelow vs Lawrence Taylor LT is ready for a fight, the two men are staring down on each other. Cheap Shot by Taylor and he clotheslines Bam Bam out of the ring. For some reason Bam Bam Bigelow cannot get a single move in. Lookat this, Lawrence Taylor and his posse are getting in a scuffle and what the hell is LT doing in the middle of the ring. This is the most awkward stomp I've ever seen. LT just lunges and Bam Bam rams him in the corner, kick to the midsection. Will Bam Bam use his agility? Bam Bam gets the Boston Crab on Taylor. Wait what, Bam Bam's not even using the crab. LT gets to the ropes. WHOA, Bam Bam going for the moonsault and WHAT, only a one count? Becuase it looks like Bam Bam's knee has exploded. LT with a jacknife, like wuuut. Bam Bam kicks out. Bam going upstairs and lands the headbutt and LT kicks out. Bam Bam has never had to sell so hard and lunge punches are knocking down Bam Bam, he's going up the ropes and he wins. WMXI is a mess in a lot of ways.
LT did a decent job in his match for a guy who's not a wrestler. He sold Bam Bam's moves, and aside from his complete inability to grapple right, made the moves he did look right. Still would've been better to see a real wrestler, and not a WWF guy losing to some outsider. Also the I Quit match was so lame despite the quality of the people in it. What a terribly booked match. And my biggest problem with the Blu Brothers is that they both look like the old Berzerker. I swear they just borrowed some old costumes of his for their gimmick. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. In Your House: Premiere
Oh hey we got some Qualification matches. Vince and Dok for tonight. Hakushi vs Bret Hart Double duty for Bret as usual tonight. The undefeated Hakushi up against the Excellence of Execution. Man what the hell did they paint all over him for tonight. Nip up by the hitman and Bret's back down to his knees. USA! chants even though Bret is Canadian. Some fast action and hand on face by Hakushi. But a few chops and strikes by Hakushi levels the match in his favour.Reversal sees Bret smack himself in the corner. Hakushi is currently in charge, he's now posing to the crowd to some very big boos. Bret slides out of the ring and gets attacked while the ref is not watching. Someone's sitting right on the top and the ref is being distracted while Bret is being choked. Hakushi likes his springboard handstand thingy and hits Bret with it. Top rope time and here's the diving headbutt and Bret kicks out! Hakushi misses a second attempt and now Bret is unloading on him and Hakushii gets knocked down. HE STILL CAN'T GET THE MODERN DAY MOVES IN! And here's THE ELBOW FROM BRET AND A SHARPSHOOTER, NO DISTRACTION, Atomic Drop, AND A CLOTHESLNE! A headbutt knocks down Hakushi, Hitman has had enough and goess to the outside to lay some beatings, Hakushi finally gathers some momentum again, twice blocked suplex, Bret suplexes both of them out of the ring. A nice moonsault and the Hitman is out on the concrete. Will get counted out though. BUT HE MAKES IT BACK IN AND FEAR THE ROLLUP! Will Bret be in good enough shape for Jerry Lawler? BUT HIS KNEE IS TWISTED! 1-2-3 Kid on the phone, something about Jeff Jarrett's music is just annoying. HANDICAP MATCH: Jeff Jarrett and the Roadie vs Razor Ramon Title not on the line. Double J on the outside and the Roadie comes in from behind and strikes down Ramon. Jarrett with the Enziguri. where did Double J learn to wrestle? Mexico? Fallaway slam and Roadie jumps in, now we're watching him in some singles action and he lands a clothesline. Couple of close calls already and Jeff Jarrett almost got caught off guard. Roadie is back in and Ramon is slowly but surely losing out to the double teaming efforts. Vince is complaining about the officials. OH RAZOR'S-BACKDROP BY JEFF JARRETT and the Bad Guy is down. DOUBLE J FROM THE TOP AND RAMON COUNTERS! Dropkick from Jarrett and now a neckbreaker. Razor start his comeback and Roadie is the one taking all the punishment. Razor is signaling for the Edge, but Double J wants the figure four, DOUBLE J IS BEING SETUP FOR THE RAZOR'S EDGE AND DOWN HE GOES! Razor wins the encounter. Roadie was about to take one too but Double J takes out the leg. Post match figure four AND HERE COMES THE CAVALRY, ALDO MONTOYA FOR THE SAVE! Well not really, he gets dumped out, BUT HERE COMES ANOTHER GUY AND HE'S BLACK! Sycho Sid hype package, man even back in 1995 their video editing team was pretty good. Mabel vs Adam Bomb King of the ring qualifier here tonight and Mabel is all business. Not actually sure who is the face in here. Mabel falls to the outside and Adam Bomb jumps over the rope. I swear Bomb looks like Rhyno. Nice lunge from Adam Bomb and Mabel is in trouble but uh, Mabel catches Bomb and slams him and oh Mabel was a heel. Angry black man on deck. TAG TITLE MATCH:
Owen Hart and Yokozuna (c) vs The Smoking Guns Yokozuna starts things off against Billy Gunn, so much for that strategy to keep Owen alone in the ring. Owen no hammering away on Bart. Trememdous slam by Bart and here are the double team moves from the Gunns. But distractions are nice. Fuji and Cornette doing their jobs. Billy gets up, Yoko punches him down, Billy gets up Yoko smacks him down, over and over and over again. Owen Hart is now there to finish him off, but Billy nearly catches him off guard. Bart is fresh and Owen is in deep trouble, Bart's not going for a pin, he wants the double team move and Owwen kicks out and he ducks to avoid a crossbody and Jim Cornette gets whacked in the face. Owen picks up the win amidst the whole mess. Big Daddy Cool promo. Jerry Lawler in the ring with his mother. She looks like she could be his daughter. Jerry Lawler vs Bret Hart BRET WAS FAKING HIS INJURY! HE WAS PLAYING POSSUM! Bret is now just tearing Lawler a new one, big backbody drop. After this match there's a vacation home and a title match! Lawler with the piledriver, but Bret Hart simply gets up and here's a bulldog. Bret with a piledriver of his own. But Lawler manages to knockdown Bret and go to the top, but Bret catches him midair. AND HE'S WORKING ON HIM WITH QUICK STRIKES, there's some distractions going round and a weird ref bump who's just dangling around. here's Hakushi attacking Bret Hart. Geez Hakushi can really jump from anywhere. Now Lawler picks up the win after Bret can't survive three aerial moves. Lawler's young mother is celebrating and in the post match beatdown Bret beats up everyone. This promotion is just lasting a long time. Phone is ringing. Todd: YOU WIN DAA HOOOOUSE! MAIN EVENT: WWF TITLE MATCH: Sycho Sid vs Diesel (c) Shawn Michaels watching this on PPV and apparently Sid is the one who put Michaels out of commission. There's 46 minutes left on the video and this appears to be the main event. Vince McMahon is incredibly excited, two big men staring at each other. He's loving this. Big Daddy Cool is initially proving to be overwhelming and is this Sid Selling? Well it might be his idea of how to do so, Ted Dibiase distracting Diesel and Sid dumps the champ out. Sid carries Diesel into the ringpost and a running punt from Sid. Man Randy Orton really has been stealing moves from everyone. Sycho sid with the worst version of the Camel Clutch ever. Sid is basically just sitting on Diesel's ass. Legdrop, arrogant cover and Diesel kicks out. The Camel Clutch again. Hey look POWERBOMB, SID LANDS IT, THIS MATCH IS OVER TITLE CHANGING TIME! NOOOOOO, THIS MATCH CONTINUES! Snake eyes and a big boot and here's the jacknife powerbomb, but Tatanka runs in and this match is over. THANK YOU TATANKA! BAM BAM IS HERE CLEANING HOUSE! FROM WHAT I CAN GATHER SID WORKS FOR THE MILLION DOLLAR MAN AND TURNED ON HBK TURNING HIM FACE AND BAM BAM IS FACE COS TED KICKED HIM OUT OF THE CORPORATION AND REPLACED HIM WITH SID. COLISEUM EXCLUSIVE: Kama vs The Undertaker LMAO, Kama really did melt the urn and make a giant chain out of it. Undertaker striking away at Kama, look at all the ropes bounce. Kama with a suplex, he's actually getting some offense in. Headbutt by The Undertaker, the supreme fighting machine is not using any of his wrestling skills. Undertaker has destroyed Hogan, Yokozuna and gone toe to toe with Warrior, but Kama the supreme fighting machine is his biggest threat to date. The supreme fighting machine is manhandling the undertaker. There's a single leg boston crab and Taker is still being manhandled by Kama. Taker does his comeback and now both men are out and Taker's face looks like he hasn't slept in a week. No wonder this match is only on Coliseum video. Taker is flat on his back and Kama has been elbowing him for a minute straight. Undertaker sits up and TOMBSTONE! RIP KAMA! COLISEUM EXCLUSIVE: Bam Bam Bigelow vs Tatanka WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT BAM BAM OUTFIT? Tatanka chopping away. Reversals and a couple of tackles. Ted Dibiase pulls on the ropes and Bam Bam goes to the outside. These were the matches the WWF didn't want you to see on PPV. fallaway slam by Tatanka on Bam Bam outside the ring. Ref counting. Beast from the east gets back into the ring and now Tatanka beats him up some more. According to the commentary, they've been using continuity from since the royal rumble as wel as the first King of the Ring for tonights feuds. Bam Bam trying to get to the ropes, he doesn't want to eat humble pie. A series of elbows to the midsection and another headlock? DiBiase kicked Bam Bam out for losing to LT, so Bam Bam turned face. Shawn and Sid argued over whose fault it was that Shawn lost at WM, so Sid beat up Shawn and went with DiBiase, and now Shawn will be face when he returns from that beatdown. Still the same Champions going into King of the Ring, but there was a title change sequence: Razor won the IC Title in a house show ladder match, but then Jarrett won it back 3 nights later at another house show. King of the Ring 1995
We're in Philly tonight. Stephanie Wiand is on deck, her eyes are scaring me. COLISEUM EXCLUSIVE: I.R.S vs Savio Vega Savio Vega and his longtime friend are on deck. Winner gets to fight Yokozuna. Quick small package by Vega, we keep getting quick attempts at nearfalls from Savio Vega. Headlock id on and clothesline and hip toss. Dropkick and IRS isn't really getting anything done. Savio Vega's back in the ring and IRS goes up to the top rope and no he misses. IRS is walking away and Vega throws him back in and GETS KNOCKED DOWN, VEGA WINS AND GETS TO FACE YOKOZUNA! Dok Hendrix and Vince are on deck. Yokozuna vs Savio Vega Yokozuna qualified by beating Lex Luger, remember when Yokozuna was good. Poor Savio Vega wins a tough match. According to Dok Yoko is at a disadvantage. Vega has so far managed to escape one Banzai drop, but the crowd's off chanting USA! USA! For some reason Vega is outbrawling Yokozuna. The Giant presence of Yokozuna is capable of pushing back Vega, but the Bad guy and Owen Hart are now brawling on the outside. Everything is rather chaotic and nice suit Owen. Yokozuna was rammed into the steel post and Vega wins via countout. What an upset! Joy to the world we get to to see some more Savio Vega. Apparently there's a kiss my feet match on today. Roadie vs Bob Holly We're off and look at how Holly qualified, beating the supreme Mantaur. Bob Holly going for quick rollups, small package, sunsets etc. It's all Holly for now and a hip toss from Roaddie blocked. The inexperienced Roadie is still hanging in there. Here's our reversal! Double J is happy about that. Roadie not going for the pin though. Holly right into the corner and now there's the Roadie strut, followed by a series of elbows. Knee into roadie's back and he gets up and SETUP FOR A PILEDRIVER? NO BACKDROP! Hard rights from Holly. Powerslam! Roadie thinking superplex, will he get it? No he can't and Holly tries jumping from the top but lands on the boot of Roadie. ROADIE WINS, NO KICKOUT, NO THE REF SAYS IT WAS A FAIR PIN! Oh man Shawn's kick is getting over and he knocked out King Kong Bundy with it! Kama vs Shawn Michaels The supreme fighting machine has been destroying everyone in sight but here comes the heartbreak kid! Michaels is getting ready for this bout. lock up and wristlock and punches from Shawn. He's employing hit and run tactics. ama gets Michaels in the corner, a few reversals. Cagey start to the match. Michaels gives up the power advantage but his speed is there. Backdrop on Kama, but the big man gets back in there and he now gets to ram the heartbreak kid into the post. The storied career of Shawn's back, all that pain started from when Sid powerbombed him. Joe Frazier is in the arena, a series of kicks to the gut and now he's working the leg. Right hand from Michaels but Kama just keeps destroying him. Ted Dibiase is kicking away at HBK who's on the outside of the ring. A countout win is looking likely, but Michaels is already showing signs of life at six, he makes it. Dok playing up the resiliency of Shawn Michaels. Michaels trying to pull the hair of Kama but that won't work. KAMA GOES DOWN! Dibiase is in a state. Only two minutes left in this match and Shawn with the kip up and he's laying some furious strikes and a lunge double axe handle not good enough! Only 20 seconds left now and the small package fails SUNSET FLIP ATTEMPT AND HE GETS THE 3 COUNT! BUT THE TIME LIMIT EXPIRED AND BOTH MEN ARE OUT! Bob Backlund is running for president and he's campaigning.
Mabel vs The Undertaker Undertaker's entrance is still so sloooow! Hurry up Bikertaker at least he gets to ring slightly quicker. Who are these Undertaker fans they look so creepy. TAKER BLOCKS THE RIGHT HANDS FRO MABEL! Mabel is so fat, but he's not going down from the early clotheslines, Undertaker walking the ropes early on and down he goes. Undertaker is now choking Mabel. Dok is wondering if Mabel can be chokeslammed. Undertaker on his back and he sits up. But the big guy gets a lucky break as Undertaker's leg is stuck between the ropes. Undertaker with the strikes and another choke, Mo trying to interfere and now Mabel with the belly to belly suplex. Rest in peace chants, we need more of those. Undertaker's head bounces off the steps. Undertaker's powers may not be at their peak due to the urn being Kama's bling bling. Piledriver from Mabel and Undertaker is taking a severe beating in this match. Mabel misses the driving elbow. Boot to the midsection and undertaker runs in and a splash. Reversal right into the official, irish whips, duck and a flying dive sends Mabel to the canvas, Undertaker with a big Chokeslam and he now beats up Mo and FROM BEHIND KAMA! Mabel drops the leg and referee wakes up and gets the three count! Mabel vs Roadie or Savio Vega in the final, GOD THAT'S LIKE BETWEEN CHOOSING BETWEEN A KICK TO THE NADS OR GETTING YOUR NIPPLES TWISTED. The hall of fame guys are getting inducted. Savio Vega vs The Roadie Roadie now starting to call himself Road Dogg. This is off to a flying start and Roadie is in a world of trouble. Savio Vega is being compared to Rocky Balboa. Roadie and Vega are still trading blows. Roadie with an advantage and he's going back to the top, misses. Vega now unloading and slams the Roadie. Double J hooks Savio's leg and reversal Roadie avoids crashing into Jarrett, dropkick and Roaide tumbles into Jarrett. Vega with the rollup and he picks up the win. Well there we have it our finals are Mabel vs Savio Vega. Bret Hart vs Jerry Lawler feud recap featuring "De Feet" KISS MY FOOT MATCH: Jerry Lawler vs Bret Hart Lawler is enjoying a spell of control early on including a piledriver. Lawler can get the early pin, but doesn't go for it, he's going for a second piledriver and GETS IT! He's trying to end this early and HERE'S A THIRD PILEDRIVER! BRET HART'S CAREER IS AT STAKE! BUT BRET HART KICKS OUT! Burger King chants throughout the arena. Lawler is already taing off his boot and we get to see the most repulsive thing out there. Bret gets nailed by the boot but kicks out at two. BRET CATCHES THE FOOT AND HITS LAWLER IN THE GUT. So far Bret Hart has been on the receiving end of most of the punishment but Lawler got too cocky and HERE COMES HAKUSHI REF IS DISTRACTED, HAKUSHI NAILS LAWLER! THE PLAN IS BACKFIRING! Lawler is down from a neckbreaKer and BACKBREAKER! Bret to the corner for his driving elbow. Crowd is actually on their feet, THE SHARPSHOOTER IS BEING LOCKED IN AND HERE IT IS! Oh no, the upcoming match is one nobody wants to watch.
MAIN EVENT: Mabel vs Savio Vega Vince really is hyping up the Rocky Balboa story for Savio Vega. Savio Vega is the underdog he's hammering away at Mabel. Copping away now and we can hear them all over the arena. Savio Vega going up top and hammring away. Mabel missing the clotheslines, bodyslam and LEGDROP MISSES! Vega with the clothesline, Mabel is out of tthe royal rumble. Is Mabel already gassed out, we got a bear hug andVega thunderclaps. These matches are just so uneventful. Vega on the verge of fading. VEGA ESCAPES AND ALMOST PULLS OFF THE UPSET! But big bodypress by Mabel for a two count. splash and now we've got uh King Mabel. I don't quite get this. Why mabel of all people. Plenty of post match fighting involving Mabel, Mo, Vega and Razor Ramon with the heels coming out on top. Even the 1-2-3 kid is running in only to get destroyed. Crowd is booing Mabel but he HAS A SWORD! Just look at the sie of that thing. Jerry Lawler is puking and shoving toothpaste down his throat. Tatanka and Sycho Sid vs Diesel and Bam Bam Bigelow Faces clean house prior to them match. Plenty of stalling from Sid and Tatanka. Diesel wants Sid but instead gets to face Tatanka. Clothesline from Diesel and a kick on the elbow. Diesel's elbow is now hurting and while the ref is being distracted that specific bodypart is being worked on. Tatanka of course goes for the elbow. Big Diesel chants from the crowd. Bam Bam wants in as Sid is now in the ring. Sid's offense is so basic. Diesel avoids the legdrop and here comes Bam Bam cleaning house. Tatanka can't do much as a dropkick sends him flying. DDT from Bam Bam, and now he's going up to hte top and lands the diving elbow. The official was distracted by Ted Dibiase and Sid can kick out. Bigelow and Tatanka still have a grudge dating back from their failed attempt to win the tag titles. Sid and his running punt still can't get even a count with that move. Vince just realized Sid was trying to put a chinlock on. Flying crossbody from Tatanka and Bam Bam's in a sideheadlock and the hot tags are now Diesel and Sid. Please don't. Plenty of kicks to the midsection by Tatanka. Beast from the east is back on his feet, block a punch and ducked clothesline, DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE! Diesel tags in and Tatanka's in deep trouble now! BOOT, the Jacknife is incoming AND uh was that really a jacknife? Diesel pulls out Tatanka he wants Sid. People now throwing trash at Sid, so Diesel just pins Tatanka for the win. I had never seen this King of the Ring before, always hearing how awful it was, but in the spirit of this, I finally sat and watched it.
What on earth were they even trying to do with this PPV? Shawn Michaels and Kama fight to a draw? Undertaker and Yokozuna defeated in round 1? Kama, Savio Vega, and Mabel all getting huge pushes here for who knows what reason. Bret Hart and Lawler have a match two years after the setup. I guess it's about time they wrapped up this feud. Probably the most decent thing here. Oh jesus Mabel, two minutes plus of bear hugging in the finals, who wants to see this. And poor crowd has to sit through his crowning. And this was a Philly crowd, when ECW was really starting to get hot, but before they got any national coverage outside of word-of-mouth in the dirt sheets and with tape traders. This is a unique point in history where one particular audience was ahead of everyone else in the country as far as trends go, and WWE just so happened to plop down their biggest piece of PPV crap right in front of them. Double J is pumped for tonight. 1-2-3 Kid vs The Roadie The kid doesn't like Roadie very much and attacks him before the match can start, they leapfrog each other. The kid uses his kicks and is still moving incredibly fast.Nice kicks from the kid and Roadie is in the corner and POWERSLAM shifts the momentum. Double J is not even watching the match. The 1-2-3 Kid smacks his head right into the post and Roadie sends him flying and heres a legrop and another. Man as quick as the kid is, his shtick does get old really quick. Jarrett is still not watching the match, he's too pre-occupied with his singing debut. Top rope splash, misses and both guys are down. 1-2-3 Kid's comeback is in full swing and HE GETS THE SPLASH! POWERBOMB! The kid is managing to survive though. Here he goes to the top and Roadie follows. SUPERPLEX? NOPE TOP ROPE PILEDRIVER, well it was supposed to be that, but Road Dogg isn't very good at wrestling. Look at the size of that Million Dollar Corporation. Todd Pettengill had a haircut and Tatanka is horrible on the mic. Sid's face is so ugly, why do they keep ooming in on it. Men on a Mission vs Razor Ramon and Savio Vega King Mabel and Sir Mo huh. Razor and Mo are starting things off, toothpick to the face, lock up and a fallaway slam. Savio brawls with Mo and keeps chopping away. Mabel trying to crash into Savio who dodges. But one big move is all it takes for Vega to get knocked out by Mabel. Razor wants in, Vega is being worked on some more. Suplex from Mo. According to Vince wrestling four matches in one night is a record. Poor Randy Savage. Mabel squashes Savio but there's a kickout. Look at all these power moves. Double elbow to Vega's face and Razor is bounced out. Men on a Mission working as a unit. Moonsault from Mo and Vega avoids it, yay both men are down. Will Vega be able to get the tag to Razor, yes he does! Razor Ramon is hammering away at Mo and SUPERPLEX! RAZOR'S EDGE TIME! NO HE PUNCHES MABEL FIRST. Mo tags out though, Mabel slams Razor, but the bad guy throws out Mabel and the big guy is dazed, but still manages a DDT. Splash is doddged by Razor. Mo and Vega brawl and go to the outside, Razor gets squashed by Mabel and belly to belly suplex. Mabel wins, what the hell is up with this push. Look at all these lumberjacks. Dibiase has bought out one of them. Lawler's hair is still crap. Here comes Double J to perform in his hometown. What a proud intercontinental champion. I wonder if this will take longer than the Kid Rock concert. The show itself is uh, not too bad I guess. Henry Godwin vs Bam Bam Bigelow Two huge men, only one of them is actually pretty damn good. Henry Godwin is destroying Bam Bam, he has no fear. The crowd is incredibly dead. The Bam Bam comeback is starting, with a few headbutts. This match really does feel as though Bam Bam is giving it his all. Bam Bam wins via rollup after Godwin jumps off the top rope and lands badly on his knee. Bob Backlund is doing some campaigning. The Heartbreak Kid going for his third title tonight. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: Sess ... Copied to Clipboard!

INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH:
The Roadie's out again, he's in the middle of the ring talking up Jeff Jarrett. Jeff Jarrett (c) vs Shawn Michaels Michaels is more popular than Double J in his own hometown. Michaels has the sweet chin music established, but not tuning up as of yet. Plenty of cocky taunting from Michaels and Double J strus after an armdrag. Jarrett is using Shawn's speed against him. He's now mimicking Shawn's taunting. Side headlock from Double J, blocked hip tosses and they are using the same set of moves against each other. Clothesline to Jarrett and Michaels skins the cat, the crowd is now heating up for HBK. Jarrett is walking out. Jarrett breaks the count and circles the ring. Missed dropkick by Jarrett, Roadie tried to interfere but Michaels nails him and sends Jarrett onto the Roadie. Flying crossbody on both of them now, crowd is going wild. Jarrett gets control of the match after backdropping HBK out of the ring. Double J gets a nearfall. Abdominal stretch and the ref, did the ref just kick Roadie in the face? Both men are down but Jarrett can't close it out and Vince's mic doesn't work. Double J hurts himself on the Roadie and sunset from Michaels isn't enough. Jarrett irish whips HBK out of the ring, he's going up high but the ref gets him back in the ring while the Roadie runs in and attacks Shawn. Jarrett is happy to win via countout but the challenger gets back in the ring FLYING BODYPRESS REVERSED NOT GOOD ENOUGH CRUCIFIX FROM JARRETT NO, HE TURNS IT INTO A, NO HE GETS COUNTERED EVERYTHING IS GETTING REVERSED! SLEEPER BY JARRETT ON MICHAELS! He's fading, he's fading up till two, getting up now COMEBACK IS ON! NO BOTH MEN ARE DOWN! Is Michaels going to kip up, no he rolls up to try and cover Double J , SHOULDER'S UP AND THEY'RE SLUGGING MICHAELS FLIES! RIGHT HANDS! HE'S FLYING! Jeff Jarrett is down on his back and Double Axe from the top and another bodyslam. Michaels out to the top for some high risk, THE ELBOW AND JARRETT KICKS OUT OF THE ELBOW! BASEBALL SLIDE, JARRETT GOES OVER, BUT MICHAELS PULLS THE LEG FROM BEHIND! Roadie shakes the ropes and Michaels loses his balance, SUPERPLEX ATTEMPT, HE GETS IT! JARRETT GOING FOR THE FIGURE FOUR, BUT A ROLLUP! No! Jarrett now working Shawn's legs attempting the figure four but Shawn kicks him and Double J knocks down the referee. Michaels readying the knee, but The Roadie takes out the knee from behind. FLYING CROSSBODY AND THE OFFICIAL COUNTS TWO! Roadie pulls JARRETT LEG BY ACCIDENT AND SHAWN WINS IT! We have a new intercontinental champion. Dok Hendrix is going crazy backstage. here is trouble in paradise. TAG-TEAM TITLE MATCH: Owen Hart and Yokozuna vs The Allied Powers John Daly is the reason Bulldog is unhappy. Yokozuna apparently keeps getting heavier and heavier. Luger and Yokozuna started things off instead of Bulldog and Owen. Dissention amongst the ranks, well that tag team went well. The two are already arguing. They appear to have made up. Owen slaps Luger, Bulldog tags in and we've got a family feud now, Look at the wrestling skill of Owen. They are doing a lot of wrestling in this wrestling match, Slingshot coming up and Owen crashes into the corner only for Lex Luger to beat on him. Bulldog gets cheap shotted from behind and now Owen start to work the leg. Yokozuna enters and starts to work very slowly on Bulldog. Luger is in here after much struggling from Bulldog and he's cleaning house with both of them. Boudle clotheslines send Yokozuna to the ground and this match is chaotic. Yokozuna squashes himself and double team suplex and LUGER HAS YOKO DOWN BUT OWEN FROM BEHIND! Legdrop by Yokozuna and they retain the belts. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: Sess ... Wow, look at all these lumberjacks, some of these guys are incredibly well dressed.
Why this guy looks like he's a blue blooded rich man. MAIN EVENT: WWF WORLD TITLE MATCH: LUMBERJACK MATCH Sycho Sid vs Diesel (c) THE MUCH ANTICIPATED REMATCH THAT WE'VE ALL BEEN EAGERLY ANTICIPATING! This is the first ever Lumberjack match we've ever had and Bam Bam throws back Sid, Diesel trying to keep Sid outside the ring. Diesel falls onto the heel side andgets beaten on and everyone is in a crowded brawl. Diesel trying to get back in. Sid is now hammering away at Diesel. This match features a lot of punching and slamming and then occasionally throwing someone into the lumberjacks. Sid gets rammed into the corner. King Mabel brings Diesel out, OH GOSH I HOPE THEY DON'T SETUP MABEL VS DIESEL AS THE NEXT TITLE MATCH! If Mabel gets the next PPV title shot, something is ruined. Sid is doing something to Diesel, I don't know what. The Powerbomb from Sid and he's high fivind all the heels. A slow cover and Diesel tamely kicks out. Backdrop from Diesel as sid attempted a second powerbomb. Sid is now fighting with everyone on the outside. Michaels from the top lands on Sid. Diesel wants the jacknife, but IRS comes in and so does Godwin and Tatanka, Big boot and Sid is down and...out for the three count. Did that really just happen? But Mabel and Diesel have to be kept apart. COLISEUM EXCLUSIVE: Jean-Pierre Laffite vs Bret Hart Who the hell is this guy commentating with Gorilla. This match is off to a pedestrian start. Bret has the advantage and JP walks off, he has a twenty count apparently. This pirate has an undefeated streak going in. Commentators just making fun of the lack of eyesight JP has through his eye. JP, Hunter Hearst Helmsey and Waylon Mercy are apparently the only undefeated guys in the WWF. Bret Hart is sweating like a pig. Randy summat is partnering Gorilla at the announcing. Lengthy headlock. Jean Pierre goes for the Cannonball and Hitman avoids and is now unloading. Even Bret can't save this match! Neckbreaker and a kick out. Backbreaker from Hitman. Gorilla: "well executed!" Oh wow really. Hitman via rollup. COLISEUM EXCLUSIVE: CASKET MATCH: Kama vs The Undertaker oh wow, they're already destroying whatever momentum Kama had. Undertaker makes his entrance, I go and make a sandwich I come back and Undertaker himself decides to attack before his music is over. This match is a long discussion about tattoos. I don't know who this guy with Gorilla is but his laid back style is kinda fun. Undertaker must have some solid abs from all those situps. Taker is in the casket and Kama goes out to close the lid and Taker just gets out. Kama lands on the casket, but the lid was closed. Axe kick from Kama. Gorilla is very critical of Kama so far. Supreme fighting machine has in general dominated this bout. Kama had Undertaker in there but he didn't close the lid and Taker just used his plunger like fist to demolish the supreme fighting machine. Taker wins Show rating: ** Star of the show: Shawn Michaels -- Vote for this guy in every contest: Sess ... Copied to Clipboard!

Jean-Pierre Lafitte was Pierre the Quebecer so he's not REALLY undefeated. Just in WWE logic where your old gimmicks don't count.
No title changes before Summerslam. Diesel, Michaels, Owen/Yokozuna, Blayze. And yes the main event is Diesel vs. Mabel. But the Match of the Year is on the undercard! -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Long story short, "The Kliq." They wanted no real threats to their spots on the card. Also how hard is it to sell Vince on the idea of 300 Pounder vs. 400 Pounder? -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Time for some In Your House 2 comments.
First match is already way ahead of KotR in quality. 123 Kid is so skinny, he loses the entire grappling aspect of wrestling but can do some good acrobatic stuff. Augh Mo and Mabel. Mo oversells so terribly. One interesting thing about Mabel is that he's the only wrestler I can remember who commonly will whip people back the way they came from rather than across the ring. Could just be because he's fat and lazy though, and doesn't want to run across the ring. Man Mountain Rock gives one of the worst segments during the interviews of the lumberjacks. Then he punches a ceiling light by accident. After Double J's musical stylings, we get Henry Godwin. Why was another hillbilly character needed in the WWF? Shawn Michaels and Jeff Jarrett putting on an entertaining match. And oh hey, Shawn wins the belt. Thank god, I hate Jeff Jarrett. And it's not so much that he does it because he's a good heel, but rather that I just think his gimmick is ridiculously dumb. Michael "Doc Hendrix" Hayes gives an update on Double J and The Roadie. The way he says it sounds like it was both written and performed by a five year old. Get this guy outta here. Yokozuna is so fat now. And Lex Luger never wins belts. The lumberjack match makes me realize how many other people I'd rather see fighting for the belt. And then it also shows me how thin the roster is in quality right now, with a lot of the other big names here being awful. And lol, Sid jumps out of the ring to double axe handle 8 guys. This goes up there with Macho Man pinning during a Rumble as stupidest thing. And jesus christ, Bret Hart has to wrestle a dark match after this card? What are you doing WWF? And it seems Pierre the Quebecer has now become a pirate, of all things. Shawn Michaels and Jeff Jarrett easily put on the best match of the PPV. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Summerslam 1995
1-2-3 Kid vs Hakushi Hakushi ain't very happy he was defeated by Barry Horowitz earlier today. Hakushi is simply covered in tattoos of kanjis from head to toe. Early goings has some nice quick action. Crowd is chanting. Kid missing with his kicks. Kid tries to use his quick counters but Hakushi can just counter the Kid. Chants are back and Hakushi just stomps the kid and now poses for the crowd. Kicks to the legs, Hakushi trying to neutralize Kid's aerial offense. Wear down moves, elbows by the Kid, but Hakushi backdrops him. Kid is out of the ring, so Hakushi obviously uses high risk and crowd wowing moves like a asty heel. Again Hakushi with some aerial moves that would put the kid to shame. Here's that kamikaze headbutt and Kid dodges, strikes from him now and he dropkicks Hakushi out of the ring. Legdrop, nearfall, bodyslam and splash from the top, doesn't get him, HAKUSHI COUNTERS and picks up the win. Mabel promo, it appears that the British Bulldog is now heel. oh my this wrestler sure has an exceptional nose. Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Bob Holly Hunter is undefeated, but Vince believes Sparky will end this streak. Holly is the guy on the offense, so Hunter needs to withdraw. Hunter Hearst Helmsley gets hit in the face, That was one of the loudest irish whips to the corner. The bounce just made one heck of a noise. Hunter Hearst Helmsley now on the offense. Helmsley using the ropes as leverage for for an abdominal strech. Bob Holly going for his babyface comeback and a counter ends it with a PEDIGREE! clips of some charity stuff. Jacob and Eli Blu vs The Smoking Gunns Very early on the identical twins are dominating Billy. Vince: "THE SMOKING GUNS! THEY HAVE BEEN SMOKING FOR SURE!" Billy tags out, Bart goes stuff, Billy goes back in, the switcharoo happens and only a nearfall. Man today these guys are making a ton of noise when bouncing off the turnbuckles. Billy getting hammered behind the referee's back. But we get a comeback and The faces pick up a win using some of their trademark double team moves. Barry Horowitz hype promo and Skip is there with Sunny. Skip vs Barry Horowitz Backbodydrop from Horowitz and Skip can't do anything against Barry and Sunny just went in the ring and tried to stop the match. Sunny grabs the ankle and now Skip is back in control, Sunny is the most entertaining part of this match. This match is still going on?? Skip going for a top rope maneuver he gets it and HE PULLS BARRY BACK! Going for the piledriver and Skip misses and gets backdropped, missed dropkick. Horowitz with a dropkick going up top,Sunny shakes the ropes and top rope suplex. Hakushi has come out. Rollup by Barry and Sunny is incensed. oh no! not another Dean Douglas skit. Oh my, this one's a long skit. WWF WOMEN'S TITLE MATCH: Bertha Faye vs Alundra Blayze (c) OH GOD MY POOR EYES! Nooo, Alundra hasn't won yet. Frankensteiner can't end this. OH NO! BERTHA FAYE WINS They are hyping up a Kama vs Undertaker casket match, didn't we see this on the last PPV. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

CASKET MATCH:
Kama vs The Undertaker Kama was unable to win the first bout, he's being dominated early on by The undertaker now. Undertaker already walking the tope rope. Rest in peace chants. We've got cameras inside the casket this time. The supreme fighting machine is controlling the matchup now. He's using the ropes as leverage for his wear down moves and nothing the ref can do about it. Kama going toe to toe with Undertaker and plenty of back and forth action. CLOTHESLINE AND BOTH MEN ARE IN THE CASKET, THE LID IS CLOSED, THE CAMERA INSIDE CAN'T PICK UP ANYTHING WITH THE LID CLOSED. OOPS! Kama trying to escape but Undertaker drags him back in. Both men are out, neckbreaker by THE SUPREME FIGHTING MACHINE. UNDERTAKER GOING FOR THE TOMBSTONE! HE GETS IT! Undertaker wins! Isaac Yankem dds vs Bret Hart Bret Hart against a giant man in blue pants. Bret over the top, he's fighting a hairy team. Vince is lamenting the fact that we're not seeing Bret's great technical skills on display here. He's wrestling a dentist! Isaac is hammering away at Bret. Lawler is getting angry. LAWLER'S REALLY ANGRY NOW AS BRET GETS THE SHARPSHOOTER AND LAWLER HAS TO RUSH IN TO SAVE ISAAC. This match is getting violent. Lawler trying to get into the ring, Bret just wrecks him, and now Isaac Yankem from behind, Bret was going to finish this match and Lawler from behind, and awww man. Bret's throat was tied up to the rope but we got ourselves a DQ. INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH: Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels (c) Due to a blue screen the entire match writeup got wiped after this PPV I'm switching to Word instead of notepad. I gave the match a lot of praise but thought the mania X encounter was overall better. MAIN EVENT: WWF TITLE MATCH: King Mabel vs Diesel (c) Mabel: I'M GONNA BE THE FIRST BLACK CHAMPION! That is the most entertaining thing about this match. Two really big men who are moving SLOOOOOOOWLY! With some pathetic looking offense. Both men are on the ground, Lex Luger comes in to help Diesel by getting mo out of the picture. Mabel with a belly to belly and the only reason Mabel is not champion is because the ref took a bump. Oh wow, what a tame finish. Show Rating: ** Star of the show: Shawn Michaels -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Oh good, you finally posted yours, now I can post my comments.
Summerslam starts off with Hakushi and 123 Kid, lots of great moves here, excellent starting point for this PPV. I love how the ringside is filled with Hakushi fans who out-cheer the boos at one point. That was a sick flip over the top rope he did. HHH finally makes his first PPV appearance (but not really, he was also a lumberjack last IYH). Lamest theme music ever, but it helps establish his heel-ness well. Blu Brothers, who wants to see these guys. "Thriving tag team division" Thankfully the Smoking Gunns win. Barry Horowitz makes his first PPV appearance (but not really because he was a Knight of Shawn Michaels in a Survivor Series). Skip looks like such a goofball. Jobber beats goofball. Match of the forever, nothing will top this, *****+ Shawn gives a promo for the ladder match, Todd Pettengill loves it. He can't keep from smiling. Ahahaha Women's champion, what a joke belt. Especially now that Bertha Faye wins it. Undertaker and Kama in a casket match? Didn't I just watch this? Oh, wait, it was a dark match on the last video. Poor Bret Hart stuck fighting people like Yankem while the main events are filled with crap these days. It eventually turns into a 2 on 1 and a DQ. Not a good ending, but everyone would've expected Yankem losing cleanly anyway. And lol, Bret walks through Razor's promo. The ladder match starts fantastically. Both men tease their finisher in the opening seconds. There's a lot more creative use of the ladder than the first one had, but what else could possibly make this better? Oh, that's what, two ladders! Having people be injured for 80% of the match took away from some of what they could've done, but they're already showing great thought in how to make the ladder matches entertaining this early. The main event was a real mess of a match. A flying clothesline was all it took to knock out Mabel? Seriously? Uh. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... In Your House 3: The Triple Header
I see Todd, time to move on. The triple header sounds like one of the most insanely dumb ideas. Dudes with attitutes putting their belts on the line against the Tag champs. Vince is welcoming everyone. Well we've got Lawler on commentary as well as JR. Savio Vega vs Waylon Mercy oh god what is this horror, not only am I being treated to some more Savio Vega, but he's up against someone horrible. They are fighting outside the ring and a scoop from Mercy. Vega is struggling early on, but Waylon falls on his butt and drops Savio Vega. So somehow Waylon is in control of the match. Sleeper from Waylon. Will vega fall asleep on PPV! Wait people are giving money to see Waylon Mercy? Savio Vega wins a quick match to end the undefeated streak Mercy had. Vince: WHAT AN UPSET! Sycho Sid vs Henry Godwin JR: "WHAT A SLOBBERKNOCKER!" Vince and Lawler: "A What?" Not much going on, Godwin in the corner getting beaten up. Ted Dibiase is overjoyed. This is certainly not a scientific matchup and Godwin had Sid beat, but Dibiase had to interfere. Godwin gets back in the ring, but Sid strikes him. The Hogfarmer is down, his leg got tripped up and Sid with the legdrop. We're about to see the powerbomb and Sid wins. Bam Bam is out, Kama is out, everyone's out to beat on everyone! Godwin sneaks up on Ted from behind, oh god I'd be furious too. Gorilla is in a position of power. British Bulldog vs Bam Bam Bigelow This match has potential, two very good power wrestlers. Bulldog vs Taker on RAW? I want that instead of this! Standoff between the two and Bam Bam wins the early power game. Cornette trying to get Sid. Davey Boy Smith with the headlock and he's unhappy for being unrecognized by the WWE. BAM BAM GETS THE DIVING HEADBUTT! Davey Boy now working the legs. Owen is still missing and Bam Bam is suffering a lot here as Davey Boy puts the legs into some holds. A wrestlemania special coming to FOX. Bam Bam's leg is in bad shape and Bulldog hits him in the midsection. Bam Bam with the comeback, he's dead but he's still there, SUNSET ATTEMPT, BY BULLDOG! BAM BAM JUST SITS ON HIM! Now a headbutt, he's going all the way to the top and MISSES THE MOONSAULT! Bulldog with the cover and BAM BAM KICKS OUT! Bulldog with the top corner diving headbutt and Bam Bam kicks out. POWERSLAM FROM THE BULLDOG AND HE GETS THE WIN! Bob Backlund is here guys, is he going to campaign in the middle of the ring? Huh, someone else is coming out to the ring and its Dean Douglas. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dean Douglas vs Razor Ramon Douglas announced his own opponent, oh but Razor is steaming down the ramp and he's going for that clothesline over the top rope. Both men are up, not anymore, they just keep going up and down at the same time. Cornette trying to acquire King Mabel. There's the trademark fallawways slam and the Dean keeping some distance, but Razor's attacks are pretty unrelenting. Razor working the arm. Series of reversals and a clothesline, Vince trying to make us believe a clothesline is enough. Backlund is still at ringside, this ain't the PPV debut of Mr Douglas! Dean Douglas finds an opening and he's now working on the back and and he breaks the count, attacks the steps. A few more kickouts and both men aren't going down to anything less than a real good finisher. Wear down time! Razor tries to power out, but he's still not capable. Douglas telling the ref to "ASK HIM". RAZOR FULLY POWERS OUT AND DROPS DEAN! Both men are flat on their backs with the ref counting. Backdrop on Dean and there's no three count. Razor and the ref's heads collide. Douglas misses a top rope move and HERE'S THE RAZOR'S EDGE! Ref held down by Bob Backlund, 1-2-3 Kid runs in and makes the three count and confuses Ramon, they argue, shoving goes on, Douglas with the rollup. The kid and Razor Ramon are arguing furiously, could the Kid, be the secret partner? Diesel and Shawn Michaels are totally cool with the situation. There appears to be a feud over a jacket. Jean Pierre Laffite vs Bret Hart They are feuding over a jacket. Yes, they really are feuding over a jacket. Plenty more fighting outside the ring, THE JACKET HAS BEEN TAKEN OFF! No more jackets CRUCIFIX AND SHOULDERS ARE DOWN, Pierre kicks out and he's back working on the arm of Jean Pierre. Bret Hart is still down, plenty of stomping on Bret. Bret beating on Jean Pierre on the ropes. Bret is cornered and stomped on, reversal, and Bret goes to ram his shoulder and it connects with the ring post. So Jean Pierre being such a nice gentleman decides to send him back there. Bret's shoulder is potentially seperated. Bret making a comeback interrupted by a SPINEBUSTAH! Bret still putting everything on the line for that jacket. Another kickout by Bret, sunset flip, fails, clothesline, sidewalk slam by Laffite, CANONBALL TIME! But Bret kicked out of it! Now what can Jean Pierre do? He's signaling for the end. Canonball misses! to the Dismay of Jerry Lawler. Hart with a neckbreaker and Jean Pierre kicks, out SMALL PACKAGE! Close but no cigar. Backbreaker, Bret now climbing and BOOT TO THE FACE! crucifix turned into a carry by Jean Pierre, and now Bret gets caught and some awkward looking stuff here. Rope as leverage by Jean Pierre but there's still a kickout. Bret going fro the bulldog but got shpved into the ringpost. FOOT ON THE ROPE. A SPLASH OFF THE TOP ROPE MISSES AND NOW BRET DUCKS A CLOTHESLINE AND BOTH MEN KNOCK EACH OTHER DOWN! Bret grabs a leg and he's trying the sharpshooter and IT'S LOCKED IN! British Bulldog is the secret partner. MAIN EVENT: Whoa Yokozuna and Cornette just teleported, damned recorded skits. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

TRIPLE HEADER MATCH Yokozuna and Bulldog (c) vs Dudes with Attitude (c) If the dudes win they get the tag belts, whoever pins Shawn gets the IC title and whoever pins Diesel becomes world champ. Owen is still nowhere to be found. The dudes have a lot of cocky confidence and the Yokozuna feels so out of place in this match. Bulldog is sent out of the ring, Yokozuna is too slow for shawn Michaels and Diesel manhandles him. Michaels is totally mocking Yokozuna. This match has really just been the dudes dominating all over. Yokozuna with some offense and goes nowhere! Bulldog had a hold but Michaels quickly got out of it to bounce around and jump some more. Davey waves the flag and now the crowd retaliates with the USA chants. Hey look, Superkick from Michaels sned Yokozuna flying and Davey Boy was going for a pin but elbow blew em out. Owen Hart has arrived and the only thing he's done is get knocked out in one move by Diesel meaning the Dudes with Attitude are now champs. Oh god, this main event match. Diesel and Shawn Michaels could lose their belts, but that'll never happen. So Yokozuna and Owen's tag belts are in jeopardy.
Who the hell is Waylon Mercy? He looks like an older overweight Will Arnett. And oh no, Owen Hart is nowhere to be found. Jim Cornette knows he's somewhere in Michigan. A quick check later reveals this was in Saginaw and only had 5000-some people in attendance. lol Sid's music right now is the best part about him. And he's fighting Henry Godwin, I almost don't want to watch. Who's supposed to be the face in this, I can't even tell. Something happened in this match, it wasn't interesting, then at the end all hell broke loose and DiBiase got slopped. Poor guy has to put up with this crap. British Bulldog and Bam Bam is next, a much more interesting match than the previous two matches. Bob Backlund for president gets more heat than anything yet. And here comes Dean Douglas, what a character. Everyone hates teachers, so he's really disliked. Man, this one goes on for a while. Dean really putting up quite a fight. And oh no, a ref bump after such a long, clean fought match. 123 Kid counts 123 for Razor! And Dean wins on a rather crappy rollup, but Razor and the Kid are now fighting. Bret Hart versus the Quebecer pirate again. Every minute this goes, the less time for Diesel. Aww yeah Sharpshooter time. Just an aside, I like how Vince has started calling Jean-Pierre Laffite just "Pierre", which was his name as a Quebecer. Yokozuna and Shawn have a staredown, and Bulldog struggles to suplex Diesel. "Dudes with Attitudes"? How lame. And of course things get way out of control later in the match, all four men in. Then Diesel gets the pin on... Owen? And two man hold three belts. Augh, end this please. At least the Raw the next day will happen. -- ONLY FIVE CAN LADDER. Sushi, kamikaze, fujiyama, nippon-ichi... ... Copied to Clipboard!

Okay, anti-Kliq rant time.
THIS WHOLE YEAR IS SO FREAKING RIDICULOUS. I'm not sure what politics exactly can get your group of guys pushed when ratings and buyrates are tanking, but they managed to do it, and the Triple Header match is really the peak of their excess. Yes, they put on great matches against each other, but because they're the only people the company is pushing, because of their OWN POLITICS they're all faces now and can't exploit that, except in rare cases like the Ladder Match at Summerslam. Meanwhile, two of the most over guys in the company, Bret and Undertaker, are forced off into their own little worlds and don't even feel like they're in the same company as the Kliq guys, because the Kliq felt threatened by them. The marginalization of Bret especially has been traced back to Shawn and Nash. You want to know how bad it got? It got so bad that with this PPV, I, Jakyl25, gave up on professional wrestling. I sat through the crappy tail end of Hulkamania, I sat through the absolute worst of WCW, I sat through the entire PG era, I continue to sit through TNA on a weekly basis, and I still find things to like and look forward to. 1995 WWF is worse than all of those things. I felt like there was no hope. No light at the end of the tunnel. So I abandoned the thing I loved most, because it was an abusive relationship. I can't tell you much about what happens between here and Survivor Series, which is my comeback point. I only saw IYH4 years later, purely out of curiosity since I never saw it at the time. I can tell you this much: please view In Your House 3 as rock bottom. This is the nadir of the abyss. By Survivor Series, you will see the signs of ascension, and as I said earlier, it's all (generally) uphill from there until the Invasion. I am not a religious man, but Thank God for WCW Monday Nitro debuting a couple weeks before In Your House 3, with WCW stealing Lex Luger right out from under the WWF's nose without anyone having any idea until they saw Lex on TNT. Thank you Eric Bischoff for snapping Vince out of it and realizing that he had a war on his hands, and making him realize that he needed to end these Kliq shenanigans. And a big hearty "**** you" to Kevin Nash for almost tanking the WWF. -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

The only title change between IYH3 and IYH4 happens with the Tag Titles.
Because they pinned someone not legally in the match, Two Dudes With Attitudes were stripped of the Tag Titles the next night on Raw, and the titles were returned to Owen and Yokozuna. Their reign still counts though, and I've never understood that. However, Owen and Yokozuna then went out later in the show and lost the belts to The Smoking Gunns. Diesel, Michaels, Gunns, Faye are Champions going into the PPV. The biggest news during this time is that Shawn Michaels was in a legit barfight at some point, and was injured enough that they had to acknowledge it on TV, because he might not make his scheduled PPV title defense against Dean Douglas at IYH4. I believe it was Shawn, Bulldog, and maybe Waltman against anywhere from 5-10 military guys, although on TV they only acknowledged that Shawn Michaels was injured in a brawl. -- Thank you, Eddie Guerrero. http://img.imgcake.com/Icon/Punkjpguh.jpg ... I honestly don't really like this current Shawn's cocky persona, there's cocky and then there's appearing to make a mockery of the entire match/show.

Yeah, I think I've said this before, but 95 was when I stopped watching wrestling weekly, and most of when I tuned in beyond that was just to watch Bret Hart. This time period just turned me off from it completely.

Serious Question, is the Kliq part of the reason why Crush never made it big?
At one stage he felt like he was on the tip of something huge, then he just kinda vanished. -- Vote for this guy in every contest: ZFS ... Copied to Clipboard!

Nope, gotta blame that one on him being sent to jail. Pretty sure that's where he is at this point in history.
