From: ShadowHalo17 | #039 Any idea when that happened? Was there a mini or did it take place in the Immortal Iron Fist some time after Fraction's run ended?
New Avengers, first or second arc
it sucked, in the end they all gave their powers to Wolverine so he could fight Agamotto
it was really dumb. super magic wolverine goooo I dunno why they picked him out of all the people there
It was a crappy story, but it was drawn by Stuart Immonen so its at least pretty.
A lot of that going around these days! Although luckily, I heard Immonen is gonna be drawing an issue of Warren Ellis' Secret Avengers.
So that means Ellis' Secret Avengers are drawn by James McKelvie, Kev Walker, David Aja, Michael Lark, and Stuart Immonen. That is one HELL of a line-up.

Ellis' Secret Avengers is going to be ****ing incredible.
Also I vote Cry for Justice as the prettiest piece of **** in comics history. Cascioli is a ****ing god but they keep putting him on such ****ING AWFUL GARBAGE.
Then again I did used to think it was pronounced Kwit-Lee, because I couldn't fathom it actually being Kwyt-Lee, that was before I learned it wasn't his real name. So it made much more sense.

Finally got up to Batman 700, back to Morrison issues, though that bit with the Black Mask was entertaining. Catgirl sucks though. As a one off character in that arc, she was fine, but turning her into a Catwoman sidekick, pure s***
Josh Keaton is the best Spider-Man ever. I'm really gonna miss him. I understand they didn't want to use him so people wouldn't confused Ultimate to be a continuation of Spectacular, but still. Man... Josh Keaton. The best.

It was obvious what they were going for the second you first see her. Personally, I think she would have been better as a Catwoman Fangirl/Copycat that Selina put down every now and then. Plus, why did they change her looks?
This...
Looks much better than this...
As you say, it shows a lack of creativity, but then, nothing is original these days.

It's hard to create originality in newer characters nowadays, because they're not well received no matter what, and there's also not much they can do with do characters that hasn't been done before.

I liked Scarlet as well, but she disappeared after that arc, didn't she? The face Pyg put on her fell off. And you can introduce characters associated with popular characters without straight up copying one.

So what happened to Simon at the end of TTGL? http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/3305/187426-after_cid_large.png
Drake Bell isn't even bad, from the brief snippets I've heard, but damn Josh Keaton is just so perfect. He's legitimately funny, he has the self-pitying "oh god what do I do I'm an idiot just go talk to her!" self-monologue down, and he's the first voice actor to make me really believe in Spider-Man's anger and rage.
Luckily he's in the upcoming Spider-Man: Edge of Time, so everybody still realizes that he's great.

Pyg is great. Some people compared him to Joker, but I think he's a bit different. Joker is the kind of guy you don't want to meet in a dark alley because you don't know what the hell he's gonna do. He may give you a handshake, or he may cut your hand off, whatever funnier to him at the moment. Pyg is the kind of guy you don't even want to look at. A disgusting beast of a man, probably smells like absolute s***. His name is very apt, since he loves nothing better then surrounding himself with filth. They're both chaotic forms of humans, but in very different ways.
Dr. Hurt was great, but Morrison said he's done with him, and I'd be perfectly happy never seeing him again. Or, at the very least, for at least a few years.
Flamingo was disappointing to me. Everybody built him up as this badass during the story arc, and on the cover Quitely makes him look like Purple Rain Prince
Then in the issue, Philip Tan is f***ing awful and draws him like some generic monster in a suit. His look isn't even consistent from one panel or another.
There were some great characters from that, but one was killed and buried under a s***-ton of rubble, one lost her face and then repented never to be seen again (hopefully that isn't true,) and then there's Pyg, at least we'll be seeing him again.

NO WE DID NOT, ALL THAT IS ON YOUR LIST IS ALPHA FLIGHT AND GREEN HORNET my manager says
HOW COULD YOU TREAT YOU CUSTOMERS THIS WAY he says
HOW COULD YOU ACTUALLY ENJOY ALPHA FLIGHT AND GREEN HORNY my manager says
From: TheKoolAidShoto | #084 Luckily he's in the upcoming Spider-Man: Edge of Time, so everybody still realizes that he's great.
But Shattered Dimensions was mediocre, and I doubt Edge of Time will be much better, as it's basically the same game only with two less Spider-Men and a different plot.
From: RayDyn | #083 I liked Scarlet as well, but she disappeared after that arc, didn't she?
She came back in a later Batman and Robin arc by Winick, it wasn't that good. Definitely some of Winick's worst. It was about Jason Todd saving Scarlet with the help of Batman and Robin. And it was revealed that Jason has the ability to put clothes on super fast.
-- ~Halo Give into the Night. http://a.imageshack.us/img443/8466/shadowhalo.png
I found that if you take that Winick B&R arc and then edit out all of the dialogue and characters that weren't Jason, it suddenly becomes some ancient holy tome that will some day be found by the last remaining vestiges of humanity and worshiped as the new bible.
From: RayDyn | #097 I can't quite figure out a voice to put to Dick Grayson, and I sure as hell don't want to read it in Chris O'Donnell's voice.
Try Will Friedle, the voice of Terry in Batman Beyond. Well, that doesn't work as much nowadays. Especially as Batman, I just kind of have a lower, deeper voice because he has to disguise while being Batman. Otherwise it's usually a lighter voice, sorta like Will Friedle's, but not as similar anymore. Hard to explain. He basically doesn't have a solid voice for him like Bruce does.
-- ~Halo There is no Crane, only Scarecrow! http://img195.imageshack.us/img195/3739/scarecrowq.jpg
Right. Since he's going back to Nightwing though, he'll just have the one voice again. Pretty sure he doesn't disguise it and doesn't have a reason to when he's not Batman.
