Thinking about getting SFIII as a casual fighting game thingy. Might be more interesting than the MK DLC, I liked them from what I tried, but it's hard to justify spending that much when a whole acclaimed fighting game is the same price.

(Having said that, SBO had quite a few more aggresive players- for some reason it only seems to be evo where most of the finals are "ken and chun stand at midscreen trying to hit confirm into SA")

I like... Guilty Gear primarily. MK9 and MvC3 to a degree. I'm only particularly good at GG. My fighting style is generally pretty strategic as opposed to honed reactions, but I can do basic combos, canceling normals into specials and so on.

I think I might need to drop Q for someone more... better. I'm just not getting anywhere with him, thought when I do manage to beat people it feels great. It's too bad, Q is such a cool character.

3S isn't a game you can just pick up and have fun. It comes with a community that's been playing it for over a decade, kinda like Marvel 2.

If you want an easy fighter then pick up UMvC3 or SFxT when those come out.

Otherwise, stuff like parries and aegis bullcrap seems like a lot to deal with for what's basically a dead game.

Yeah, Gill's pretty lame, but he's not all too bad as long as you don't do anything stupid he can really punish, and if you can bait him into using his Super so he can't use Resurrection Arts.

Only critique I can make of your Q play while I'm 75% asleep and not particularly good myself: Dash Punch more. It's a very safe move and opens up a lot of Q's chances to land SA1.
