it looks like all the other third strike videos that are uploaded to me. when you watch the shend's channel, all of his stuff (especially the older stuff from a couple years back) looks iffy and about the same as 3SO is doing.

I've enjoyed the videos uploaded here, good stuff. no need to be critical! roundhouse with Q all day baby.

I played 3S for about 35 minutes online tonight and I actually managed to win a few matches! However, I ran into a Yun in one of my matches and got completely obliterated. I had no idea what to do against the constant pressure.

So I had a dream about SSF4 last night...

I got into a really heated argument with my friend about which console was better between the PS3 and 360 (which is kind of weird since we both own PS3's.. and he traded his 360 in for one), but like all console war arguments, it went nowhere. So he ended up challenging me to a round of SSF4 on 360 to "settle it". For some reason he got to choose my character (he picked Chun for me) and I had to play using the 360 controller. But in the dream only the left side of the controller (d-pad, analog stick) was from a 360... all the button placements were from the GameCube controller... so I had no idea which button did what. I remember just spamming kicks and never being able to figure out how to throw, it was terrible.

I can't remember who won, but that's not the important thing.

Anyone up for some games (PS3) later today?

LOL Gill is such a joke. I let you kill me at the end there just because I wanted to see his resurrection in action.

Good matches but your Dudley got a little predictable with those shoryukens after every air to air exchange. I also learned during one of those matches that his EX machine gun isn't safe for him on block so I started taking advantage of those.

But who am I to talk? I know nothing about this game

I did not have an enjoyable experience online at all tonight with Third Strike. I know people love picking Ryu and Ken, but this is ****ing ridiculous. About 80% of the opponents I faced picked one of these guys. I am pretty surprised at the low amount of Yuns I have seen, and I have yet to face a Chun-Li player.

I definitely need to hit training mode some more as well because I went on a huge losing streak to end the night. Also, everybody seemed to be in love with the taunt buttons tonight. It seemed like I was getting taunted after every round I lost.

Do stat boosts from taunting carry over round to round? I assume not.

I spend about half my games playing Ibuki or Elena, so if I ever get around to buying a 360 I should be a nice change of pace! Ken's fun in 3S though, not surprised he shows up a lot.
