for real rollbacks were humorous, wish you could save replays that showed what weird crap was showing up on your screen. oh well!

crap it is hard to parry when you're dealing with lag/rollbacks and can't be sure on the timing

also I just ran into one of those punk Kens someone mentioned earlier

I pick Ibuki first thing, he hovers over Alex until the countdown is down to 2, then runs over and picks Ken. Then waits until the timer is almost done to pick his super. Then waits until the timer is almost done to pick random stage. We each take one round, he gets me down to one pixel of health in round 3, then taunts. Like for real. people on the internet, man.

tough to find matches at the moment. I wonder how the ranked match search works.

yeah that's what it seems like. last night I found quite a few people. today I've played maybe two matches besides the matches you and I played. most of the time I'm just stuck on the searching screen.

haha yeah I thought it was cool when it was happening to me. we were playing randoms at that point but obviously Shoe's Yang is pretty solid!

just played against a cookie cutter Chun and cookie cutter Yun back to back! I stand by my preference for facing Chuns. Yun is the worst thing.

haha no worries. were you playing random the whole time also, or just me? I can't actually tell. we each played Chun once I believe, and those matches went about how you'd expect them to! I appreciated that we both chose her first super though.

it's been pretty interesting playing online. it's the same game, but the matches don't resemble the ones I play at home. the quality of my play is lower online, and I expect that's true for everyone. seems like that just might be how it is for fighting games, it's not as easy to do stuff you want to do online.

I played random the whole time and the selection made me smile, though. kept getting characters I'm not very good with! You'd think I'd be a star with Alex and Hugo based on how many times the game randomly selected them for me. but no, I am not even a little good with either.

if I have mains I guess they're Elena and Ibuki. My Elena is a lot better than my Ibuki though. I also play a competent Chun and Ken I think, but I don't play Chun online out of principle and everyone plays Ken!

I just found out there's adapters out there that let you connect your PS2 controller to your 360. Sounds like good news for my 3S experience, and a lot cheaper than buying a stick.

Make sure there isn't any input lag with that connecter or else you'll be miserable.

yeah I've been thinking about that. the user reviews are all like "no input lag," but I've heard that before where I knew it wasn't true. The one I'm looking at is like $10 though, so even if it ends up laggy it's not a huge investment. the alternatives are buying a stick or following those Youtube tutorials where you take your 360 pad apart and fix the d-pad, neither sounds ideal.

you can use that stick for xbla games, too! pretty awesome.
