Sorry I'm playing Third Strike tonight. AND I'M RAGING TOO. Why the hell are shoryukens SO GOOD in this game? I can't even safe jump them immediately after a neutral knockdown from Hugo. Also seriously f*** every Ryu and Ken player that taunts after a match. You beat a Hugo player that's been playing for less than a week with a character that you've probably been using for 15 years that anyone and their mother can use.

I just played an Elena that was teleporting all over the screen and completely murdered me. I managed to get her into a grab and it rolled back halfway through the animation so that she was back on the ground and she used her sweep on me.

I tried doing about 10 ranked matches in 3rd Strike tonight using Twelve for ***** and giggles.

There were very little giggles to be had, but I think I got a couple people to choose Sean and Hugo against me because of it. I am really having trouble finding a character that I like to play. First I started off with Chun, but I was getting taunted constantly online when I lost, and that is annoying. I like Twelve, but I feel handicapped playing as him (I am already bad enough as it is). I think I will try Dudley next.

Why the hell are shoryukens SO GOOD in this game?

they're not! maybe the online situation is different with lag, but you can easily parry or block them and they're pretty punishable in normal situations.

ha I'd probably taunt too! nothing like beating a 3S Chun player and then rubbing it in!

Elena is worth a try! Fun character to be, and though I haven't played OE I expect she's on the rarer side.

I was jumping on shotos on wakeup because I expected that I could safe jump them and punish the shoryuken. Or I was trying a cross-up and got stuffed. I'm not going to jump at Ken if he's just standing there, I'm not that dumb.

man this can sometimes be frustrating! get a good connection and I'm doing okay, but get a bad one and it feels like we're dropping inputs and doing all sorts of wonky stuff with how time works. experience has been mostly positive but I'm not playing nearly as well as I usually play on my PS2 version. comes with the territory on having bad internet I suppose!
