And yes, I don't enjoy jungling. I do enjoy laning.

She's a more offensive, non-healing Taric. And I liked half of Taric's kit. Leona takes that half and makes it even better! Like, none of Leona's abilities make me go "meh".

This is a cute and pop genocide of love!

I had my best ranked game every today. Went 23-4-9 with Lane Olaf. At the end of the game, I was coming back from shopping, when the rest of my team was stuck fighting in their base. Our Vayne types in all chat "SAVE US OLAF" and I ran in and destroyed the nexus by myself and some minions with their entire team attacking me in vain.
We nearly lost too, because Tryn was clever enough to back door us when we were all doing that "poke poke poke" game outside of their base, and nobody blue pilled. Thankfully, I went back and killed Tryn when our Nexus had just over a 1000 hp left.

Akali is a champ that needs early kills to snowball well, and pre-6 she's rather lackluster.

But she's fun, that's for sure. I'm not good enough to use her, but watching good people play her is awesome, and she's a fun lanemate. You need to be able to take advantage of your opponent's mistakes and make them pay, just farming and poking every once in a while isn't going to get you far.

Normally I'd say the runes don't matter, but... if you want to play Akali to max effectiveness, you study Westrice. Regardless of your opinion on Solomid, he's the Akali player to watch. And even without his advice, logically you would want Akali's passive activated ASAP to make her early game a terror.

Anyone with strong farm. Ranged carries work, nasus, anivia, brand, yi, etc.

Galio is a fun character who doesn't need early kills to function properly!

Actually, I'd argue anyone who makes good use of gp5 items doesn't "need" kills or assists to do their job sufficiently, going into the mid-game. Sure, if farming is a possibility for you then it helps, but CS alone won't give Akali the edge she needs to be scary for the other team.
