And I don't see why you'd spend RP on anything outside of a 3150/4800/6300, but that's just me!

I wouldn't even consider RP on a guy who's not a 3150 and up for 585 or a 6300 for 975. And of course they must always be on sale.

I mean I've never spent RP on a character at all but I've considered it.

If the carry is in the right spot then a blitz hook/fist will still send Leona limping to safety. The carry would have to be much too close to blitz or too focused on the minions to notice blitz setting up for a hook.

TBH I really don't see a low level leona tanking a hook + a knock up + a few DPS shots and still being able to charge in and start a fight. Especially with her carry still a screen away at the time.

The thing about Blitz is

A) Nobody knows how to block his grab, they just complain when they stand in the open and it works.

B) He can basically sit in the brush all day and make you too terrified to move.

C) He can grab through walls, which is just an asspain.

It's less of an issue late game when the grab is the LEAST of your problems, but in the early game with the right lane partner, everybody's getting fed.

in which case, they're the ones doing the pubstomping, not you

you're an assist master as blitz - assist masters do not pubstomp as well as kill masters

I have played as blitz with melee carries where they were far too passive, and me landing nice grabs did very little because my lane partner didn't take advantage of them

so if your partner is a baddy, then good luck 'pubstomping'!

Sitting on your ass near Blitzcrank waiting for a successful grab isn't exactly brain surgery, and anyone can carry when fed to the degrees Blitzcrank can allow.

FD if the carry is near blitz then she isn't farming. If blitz is near the carry he isn't scary because I can see him. You can hide behind minions against Blitz. If blitz and the carry go into the brush close to you you back away. They go back to farming, you go back. Lastly the grab is easy to juke. I'm not some pro or anything but i've literally never had a problem with Blitz.

Amazing game as Jax, Sythia as Caitlyn (what a surprise), and Zazi as Malphite, with a random Morgana and Annie. Took me forever, but I eventually got on a roll and started doing really well, though Sythia still did much better.

Highlight of the game: the three of us rushing into their base to destroy their nexus as Vladimir and Leona tried to stop us, while their Sivir and Shaco tried to baserush our nexus while Annie and Morgana stopped them. Unsurprisingly, we won.

Jax gets Hextech and is guaranteed to take one person with him by hitting Ultimate and leaping. Like once the game gets 40 minutes in Jax is just silly. In lane he's silly because once he hits 6 you can't one on one him. But if you don't body him out of lane and he gets farmed you lose anyways. I've gotten dived by an entire enemy team, hit my ult right before they got me, and with nothing but Hextech and Dodge Boots I lived long enough for my team to come murder them. He's probably my second favorite troll champ behind Singed.

Building Ezreal is...something I have to think about.

I understand that he's supposed to be an AD carry. But I feel like if you're going to play an AD carry it should be someone that isn't Ezreal.

So I like to try to build him hybrid. Going Manamune + Archangel's is fun, but you don't get any defense out of it.

You can get Manamune and then glacial shroud and banshees, but now you're just a bad AD carry.

It's hard to justify Gunblade on a character that doesn't have a lot of health to begin with.

I see a lot of people getting trinity on him. I can see how that's a good item, but if you want a trinity user there are better champions for that too.

Triforce is mandatory, starting with Sheen. His Q procs on hit effects, including the damage boost from Sheen/Triforce, which is a huge help to Ezreal. Most builds I see include a Bloodthirster, which is a must on any ranged carry, really. Personally, I grab a Tear of the Goddess early since you're going to spam Q anyway and it builds into Manamune late game. Brutalizer while you wait for the big guns is a good choice. Don't build Youmuu's, just sell it when you can buy the stuff you really want. The only other item that's really not up for debate on him is Last Whisper. General rule after that is if you're getting your ass kicked, you should focus on defensive items. Otherwise, continue to build offensively. Some items like Frozen Mallet will help you do both.

I feel like finishing Manamune early would be best, however, due to the absurd amount of mana Ez gets from mystic shot with it.

There's also the issue of CDR. I mean, you're basically looking at ionian boots, brutalizer, and kindlegem for it. hmm.

Building Manamune early delays your damage. The gold is better spent on Trinity first. Tear is enough to solve your early mana issues and helps build up mana for late damage.
