Uuuuuugh Planet Comics was out of Animal Man, so I got Penguin instead, in addition to Stormwatch. I think I just might make a pull list for the...five or six comics I buy. I'm just going to get it digitally and buy the comic next week. I can't wait seven days for Animal Man!
Penguin was pretty good! Stormwatch was....eh, it was okay. It's moving too slow, though, with a bit too much exposition. I wanted moon-busting action by issue #2, dammit! Ha, I could ramble on any topic with little provocation, but would you really be embarrassed to buy a comic because it's not well received? Or because you don't like the comic personally? And if so, since you're you and know your own taste, even if you were buying a comic you didn't like where does the embarrasment come in? =P
Personally, I enjoy a range of stuff, some acclaimed, some a bit more on the mindless but enjoyable side, I'd never be embarrassed to buy anything. Though, in this case, I'm a genuine fan of that Detective #1, but that's beside the point.
