I wouldn't do more than ten. my thing this year is I played a bunch of games but never bothered to finish them. I don't want to rank Catherine based on playing 75% of it, even if I have a good handle on how I feel about the game.
I'm probably going to do mine the last week of the year, starting just after Christmas probably. I'll have time then and it gives me a chance to finish up a few more games in the mean time.

maybe it's different for you, but if I don't finish a game, I usually blame the game for not being good enough, and feel justified in talking about it still >_>

omg did u red text from last night dats so me LMAO : ) im not a slut i jus liek 2 haev fun LOL : )
well, my issue is time. I spend 10 hours a day back and forth to work and then I come home to family. I might get 2 hours of game time on a good day. your average 8-10 hour game will take me 2-3 weeks to complete.
cinematic games are so not my thing lately. pick up and play or bust.
Alright, I don't know about a sign-up schedule for making a top 10 list. I don't think every single person has to have the spotlight for a week or anything!
Edit - Assuming someone was thinking about making a topic on the board, because that would be insanity. You'd have like 20 people and that's no good. It's different when three or four people decide to coordinate things so they don't get posted at the same time!

I won't step on Kleenex or transience's shoes when it comes to lists, but I'm not waiting for someone I don't know to finish their list if it's a good time for me!

take solace in the fact that, when we played through that map, I suggested wedging the cube in the door, only to see him take the cube at the last second into the room.
jerk.
i made up for it by killing him as often as possible. in every game.

I'm really liking it. I think the strongest part of the game is the music, I think it pulls you into every scene, and makes each scene have that much more impact.
Also, ever since Act 2 started, the game's plot gets really interesting. In Act 1 it was fine, but kind of progressing in a predictable manner, now I have no idea what to expect next.

Just got my first...magic spell thing. This game feels hectic when it starts throwing a bunch of light and dark at you, but it feels good when you manage to do it right.

"Hold on a minute! That testimony stinks!" "Witness! You can't just say 'Hello' and expect us to get anywhere! I want you to testify!"
it seems like that game is bombing compared to previous ones. I saw an xbox live activity list that put Saints Row above it. on this site it's struggling to stay in the top 10.
Well, the multiplayer isn't much of a hook for most people. It's slow paced and isn't flashy, so you're not going to keep people playing that way. This site has bad opinions, so it happens!

Just to clarify, I'm not a big fan of AC's multiplayer either, so I'm not knocking people who don't like it. I think AC MP would be better served as co-op doing missions instead of competitive.

saints row > assassin's creed I can get behind this.

I'm a big sucker for fights like that. I LOVE the "falling down chasm, keep platforming and fighting!" gameplay idea. Its such a dynamic way to design a boss fight, keeping you on your toes as the environment is constantly changing, an adding another element you have to take care of. Two of my favorite games of the year do this, Outland and Hard Corps: Uprising.

It will launch for $350 with some Wii Sports s***. I bet my life on it. Damn, that KoolAid guy is awesome - NGamer64
Eh, I would've enjoyed it more if it wasn't basically "Hit me a few times and avoid a hand, switch colors and jump to the other side and do it all over again."
The part where she was summoning those huge blasts of light/dark was pretty cool, but it only happened like twice.
