Whether or not that includes summoners is important. And I'm kind of hoping the 35% thing is inaccurate, because in that case it's only 5% better than Morgana's passive by level 13. Shrug I watched some high level streams sometimes randomly Ermine and I saw Volibear picked or banned or in almost every other game actually. That was last week tho, maybe something changed. Fizz was also banned a little bit tho. Kassadin was THE ban tho. He had like a 100% ban ratio for games I watched.

Kassadin is in a weird spot right now.
He stomps on every mid in existence, has great burst, and has an improved flash on a 7 second cooldown max. Oh, but to add to my last post, that doesn't make Kassadin bad at all. I was just saying a way to win a lane against him while still being AP (of sorts).

Pick Ryze against Kassadin and blow him up early on.
Little known AP counter to him! Especially with the nerfs, before it was like, slightly in favor of Ryze, and now I can see it being a clear "Ryze will win without ganks/him being an idiot". I play a lot of Kassadin, and have really only lost to Ryze before, plus I counterpick Kassadin with Ryze and win most of the time now. interesting lane. edit - and to add to this before anyone asks, it's because Ryze can trade early on and come out ahead with both his Q and W + ranged hits against Kassadin, and Ryze will naturally build tanky anyway so you can get early MR and just straight tank Kassadins damage while dealing a ton of damage against him because of your short CD, spammable spells. He can't riftwalk up to you, combo, and riftwalk away without eating your spells. Just walk into him and burst him after he bursts you. ITT, 2.4 total ratio attached to 1320 base damage is bad. Spoilers, Annie does way less and has worse ratios, and she's a heavy burst caster.

E ratio is who cares R ratio would be nice, but the real power lies in the triple dash. The only reason Kass is so unbeatable in lane is people refuse to switch up the lane phase. He doesn't stomp every mid, he stomps every AP mid(and some can still beat him if their early game is strong) but any AD carry can absolutely stomp him. You want to beat Kass? Don't put the damn Mage mid.
