I'm at that period of 1300-1400 where I can't win unless I pick a carry or someone who can.

Like, i try to pick Trundle because the guy is just really good at everything. But Trundle is very team reliant.

Teams have to

A.Know that I'm going to ult the tank and make said Tank useless.
B.They have to know that I'm going to invade the enemy jungler at level 2 when no one can fight me thanks to Q+W
C.They have to know how Pillar works and to keep chasing.

Sadly, I rarely get this.

Dear god. Sending one person from bot to go 'gank the jungler' at blue buff should not be a valid strategy. When I'm pinging a ridiculous number of times, and my bot teammates stay at bot despite there being only enemy at bot and me pinging and there being an enemy right next to me what is wrong with you guys

You'll probably die a lot at first, but if you play with someone who will teach you as you play or you watch streams or something to learn the basics, you'll be able to pick it up.

The people you play with won't be noob friendly though, for the most part

Not so well. There's something about Shaco that I don't quite understand and can't get used to. It's like, when I fight against a Shaco, I pretty much know exactly what they're going to do and when. They all follow a basic flowchart, it seems, but I just don't have a sense for it. It's good to have him on deck, but I'm just not sure what it is I'm doing wrong.

I hate fighting Shaco. Even if you know his flowchart, there's nothing you can do about it. In lane, he just puts boxes in all the bushes and free farms. If he's jungling, then he has the best ganks in the game and can grab two buffs in 2 minutes if he knows what he's doing. He basically forces you to hide under turret for the entire laning phase.

2 boxes will only kill you if you were really low already or it had good gank support. In which case you probably deserve to die for facechecking a bush at low hp or facechecking a bush when gank support was nearby.

Also yay for 450 RP. Now I don't have to debate getting more RP for a game I haven't played much lately to get Little Knight Amumu when he's on sale.

Two boxes can kill you from full with no gank support.

What. You need like 6-8 boxes to kill anyone from full without support. (Keep in mind I'm considering the Shaco himself to be "support" in this case)

Unless the boxes were recently buffed higher than they were pre-nerf.

Uh, no.

3-4 will kill you outright.

And aside from making bushes untouchable for the first 15 minutes, boxes would likely be nerfed or restricted in order to prevent double buff, level 2 Shaco ganks at 2:00.

Bushes are touchable if you you know, ward. Like a good jungler should do.

Also 3-4 is lol. As someone who used to play AP shaco for fun I've never killed anyone with pure jacks with less than 6.

4 is not enough considering people can still walk out of box range while feared. You want as many as possible if you're doing a quick FB in the enemy jungle.

granted, I've never tried this in the new jungle, but it's probably easier to do.

The math straight up says you're wrong there. At level 5 jacks the fear duration is 1.5 seconds, and the estimated attack speed on a jack is 1.35 meaning 1.35 attacks per second, means every jack gets to hit you twice before you recover from fear assuming no tenacity, assume another shot before you get out of their range, being generous (sometimes they won't get that or even their free 2 because of the aimless walking around from fear). 95*12 is 1040 damage. Now add in your base MR. That can't even kill itemless Shaco (not exactly a tanky hero) at full at level 9 unless the Jack Shaco builds magic penetration and AP. If you catch someone that built any survivability items at all you're probably not killing them even with AP and magic penetration. And consider that that was a good beat. Pretty often the jacks don't even get their free 2 attacks.

At lower levels the jack trap effectiveness goes down because the fear duration is shorter, when compounded with the lower base damage gives you a less effective jack trap even considering that your targets have less hp.

You pretty much need 6 to solo squishy carries with traps reliably-- the AP return on jacks isn't that good so it's not like a Shaco that builds AP is going to necessarily keep up with the carries in the late game unless he's having a really good game. Now if you throw the Shaco himself in, having him camp his trap, you could easily manage it with 4, but that's a waste of Shaco's time and countered by warding. Also not much more effective than say Teemo camping shrooms.

The thing with Trundle is that your team needs to understand WHAT TRUNDLE DOES.

My sole purpose is

1.Killing wolves then getting blue faster than anyone this side of Jesus.
2.Running to enemy Double Golems and then smashing them.
3.Meeting Enemy at Red Golem and just mashing the crap out of them.


I've been running Smite/Ignite and just massacring enemy junglers.

The problem is that said Jungler then just starts ganking every lane and my team is to incompetent to understand what's going on.

Maybe try explaining to them that since you'll be dominating the jungle, the other jungler will have to respond by ganking (because he has no jungle he's safe in).
