1. How do you feed your cat? That is, do you give your cat food when you eat or do you just keep the bowl full all the time. 2. Lately when my cat jumps on me to like sleep on me or whatever, shes been digging her paws into me. Then she would alternate pressing her left and right paws into me for a minute. What does this mean? Shes never done this before

The 2nd thing, nursing, is what kittens do when they're trying to get milk from their mothers. If you let your cat keep doing that eventually she'll probably start sucking on your shirt. I think I remember reading that it's comforting for them. If you raised your kitten on your own without its mother then it wouldn't do that.
I usually feed my cat twice a day around the same times each day but he's still pretty fat.
From: KingButz | #002 1. By not leaving the cat alone in an open field to die. 2. This means the cat does not want to be left in an open field to die.
side notes
1. Don't throw bricks at it either, it can not eat bricks. 2. She doesn't want to be bricked
but to be serious, my cat did the second thing all the time. I'm sure it's not a big deal. I have no idea what skull means with 'sucking on a shirt' because my cat seriously did that paw thing until the day he died (age 20) and never did anything else!
1. Most cats are grazers. They will periodically eat a bit and then come back for more later. So just refill that and the water dish when you notice it's getting low.
2. Cats do this to make a surface more comfortable for them. It's like a kneading type of thing. Even though it usually doesn't do anything noticeable, it makes a difference to them.

2. Both of my cats do it to. After awhile they eventually lie down. Depending on my mood, I either let them continue or I'll gently push their claws off of me.
I keep the bowl with a decent amount of food. Not full or else sometimes it just eats more because he feels like there will be more later. Keeping a limited amount of food makes him eat less and saves for later. *shrug*
As for the second thing, uh, cats do that. Why your cat just started doing it, I dunno, but it's not like you need to worry.
The kneading thing is how they got milk from their mother. If they do it to you, it's essentially them saying they feel as comfortable around you as they did with their mother when they were little.

So it's a good thing and you probably shouldn't try stopping them too much. It can kind of hurt though if they get too into it, so stopping after it starts to hurt is okay >.>
