I always take Garrus with me on missions, he's like the spotter to my sniper, or vice-versa. On my playthroughs of earth, I've taken Javik on one and Vega on the other, they don't really say much during that mission. Gotta wait for my friend to be done with ME1 before I take another crack at it since I want to start from the very beginning. Not gonna romance anyone in ME1, and then romance Tali, that way no one gets mad at me and I can see the tali romance. Also will see if I can resist the tactical sense of killing off Ashley, mainly so I don't have to listen to that awkward Kaiden convo.

My Backloggery (Work in progress, still adding games) http://backloggery.com/sgtsphynx
Jeff Zero posted... Well in case you aren't already aware, Casey Hudson and plenty of other ME3 dev team folk are hard at work on 'gameplay initiatives' in an attempt to fix some of the ending mess right now, so just keep that in mind while watching. We won't know what the hell they're up to until 'April', which could mean the first of the month but could technically also mean the thirtieth, so yeah.
But still, depending on what it is? It's something. They have officially stated it will offer more closure and answer questions the fans have regarding the ending, so that's good news.
April 1st they announce some super awesome DLC / ending fix
hmmm..................

Speaking of which, I was wondering about that one achievement for "bringing a majority of the galaxy at war assets to the final conflict." I thought I did that during my first playthrough but never got the achievement. Is multiplayer required for that one as well, or do I just need to do pretty much everything?

Especially their no receipt policy. If you don't have a receipt, they'll take it back and give you a giftcard. Of course, they go by the lowest price for said item during the past month, and you can only do it once a year, but it's perfect for when I find a good deal somewhere else (buy two, get one free) and they don't have a great selection but they have two games I want. Like Toys R Us. Buy the three games there, return the one I don't want to Best Buy.

That's because, while I don't fully g]agree with people who say that fans aren't justified in their dislike of the endings, I do agee that people are blowing it out of proportion and letting the the last 10 minutes ruin what is a great game.

Hold my money, Pockets too heavy, Ninja Turtle Swag, Bebop Rocksteady
Oh hey guys I'm still alive. <_< Thinking about starting either a series replay or an insanity run of 3 soon, though since I'm now living with my girlfriend and her three-year-old time's a bit dicier to get ahold of.

IIRC that achievement requires you to have at least 4000 resources available when you hit the Illusive Man's base. Without multiplayer that means you need 8000 total. I had about 7000 so I just did two or three multiplayer matches to get it above 4000.

Gamertag/PSN-Murphiroth "Would have liked to run tests on the seashells..."
This... this was actually an interview before the game came out.
Interviewer: [Regarding the numerous possible endings of Mass Effect 2] Is that same type of complexity built into the ending of Mass Effect 3?
Hudson: Yeah, and Id say much more so, because we have the ability to build the endings out in a way that we dont have to worry about eventually tying them back together somewhere. This story arc is coming to an end with this game. That means the endings can be a lot more different. At this point were taking into account so many decisions that youve made as a player and reflecting a lot of that stuff. Its not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C.....The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them.
Now I can see why people who followed the development would be even more pissed off.

If you wake up at a different time, in a different place, could you wake up as a different person? [HERO'S PLUNGE] http://img.imgcake.com/finegifdy.gif
Yeah the more I research this the more bewildering it all becomes. But whatever.
Changing gears, one of my favorite little revelations in the game that doesn't really impact much besides being an 'oh neat' moment is when you find out that EDI was the VI that freaked out on the moon in ME1. It makes me want to replay ME1 just to do that mission over again.

When you're storming the Cerberus Base at the end there are some videos about it and you can talk to EDI about it.

LeonhartFour posted... She handles it pretty well, from what I recall.
I romanced Ashley in ME1 and Tali in ME2 on my paragon Shep and they got a bit catty about it.
Tali: Good to see you Lieutenant-Commander Williams. Ashley: You sure about that? Tali: Definitely, we're all adults here. Ashley: Of course. Oh, and congratulations on getting your big-girl name! Tali: Thanks! I'm so glad you decided to help Shepard this time. Ashley: ...Let's go shoot something.

Well, that generally happens when you get two love interests together, yeah. Tali jokingly suggests Liara is using her resources as the Shadow Broker to spy on Shepard if you dump her for Tali. I'm talking about how they react if you tell them you don't want to continue the relationship.
